I have traveled across the Country 3 times and visited many Planet Fitness locations and this one is one of the best. Showers are beautiful and clean. Facilities are impeccable. A close 2nd to the Planet Fitness in Washington, MO but these two are head and shoulders above the rest. Kudos!

Great place to workout! Very cost effective gym for someone starting out the fitness journey for the first time or coming back after being out of shape for a while. It has everything you need to hit the main muscles. However, for advanced gym goers, it lacks few machines like chest press, inclined hamstrings curl etc. that target specific muscle groups. Otherwise, I like the stretching section which is spacious and has fun equipments. Been a member for 2+ years and still liking it.

This particular Planet Fitness location has a very rude staff. I entered as a guest and observe the employee behind the counter not greet or make eye contract with people entering. Later during my workout I observed the same attendent walk around the gym berating the members for a variety of small infractions (i.e. water bottle on floor next to their workout machine) with a warning of a membership cancelation. It seems to me she could've spent her time more effectively.. The trash cans in gym were overflowing and toilets were clogged. I couldnt wait to get out of there. She was making everyone tense and miserable. I won't even consider going back.

I find this place to be clean, welcoming, economical and positive. Certainly I appreciate the attention to cleanliness which is why I left other gyms.
This place does suffer from a lack of size which hinders its offerings… markedly. It is the smallest PF I have ever attended and because of there is often a wait on machines that are over-utilized. Where other PF may have three or four of those machines this place has One. (Hello pec fly/rear delt) Finally, this place is generally unresponsive to complaints. I’ve written several times but nothing in response. Surprising and a bit discouraging.

I love the Hershey location of Planet Fitness!! The facility is clean, the equipment is clean and functioning, I love it!!! Paper and cleaning supplies are always stocked, which is a huge plus!! The staff seem to take pride in their work there, which is great, and they are SUPER friendly and welcoming!! I've been to multiple other gyms in my lifetime, both outside and within the franchise, and this gym is top notch!! Keep it up guys!!!!

Very good gym but it can get very busy during peak times. I go anywhere between 11 and 3 and its mostly empty. There are two additional rooms in which you can utilize if the main gym area is too crowded. The gym is very clean and well maintained. I rarely see a machine that is out of service. There are a few pieces of equipment I'd prefer to have added. But, considering the price, this gym is well worth it. Also, this is a "no-selfie" facility. Cameras should never be allowed in gyms but sadly, other gyms allow it. Not at Planet Fitness.

Great employee/customer interaction. These young people are not hanging their heads over their phones, they are greeting clients, interacting, helping, and making sure to wish everyone a good day on the way out the door. I really do love this gym, but the staff is terrible and they do not communicate well. When I signed up, I was convinced to get the black card because it included the fitness classes and my guest could use the same things as me. **Staph infection due to poor hygienic conditions**

I’ve been going to this PF for months, I’ve always maintained that the gym needed to be cleaned. Touching the plates would leave my hands extremely dirty, and it’s rare to see members or staff properly cleaning equipment. Now that I am fighting off an incredibly painful staph infection (septic bursitis) in my left elbow, I have to finally make the call to never come here again.

It's really a struggle becuase this location is great size and it's pretty clean. I transferred to this location from the carlisle pike Mechanicsburg location and the difference are crazy. The staff the the gym goers at this location are not nice. Thw staff says hi 1 out of 10 visits. NEVER a smile. It's almost uncomfortable to ask for something. Idk maybe you need to pay your employees more so they enjoy being at work

I've been going to this PF location for nearly a month.I haven't spent much time in gyms in the past and I was unsure how it would go. I am thrilled with the experience so far! The staff has been very nice and helpful, and have been patient when answering questions. The attitude of the folks who work there is a huge reason I enjoy going there! The facility has been consistently very clean, and there are tons of different exercise stations and machines to use.

I signed up for the $25/month membership. I like being able to use the tanning booths and the massage chairs, which come with that package. The $15 cost difference between the 'Black Card' membership and the basic one is less than I used to spend on coffee per week!

There is a wide variety of clients, from muscle-bound types, to young folks, to older people. It's nice to see such a cross-section of people with similar goals. I was intimidated when I first started going, but I haven't felt judged at all. I love the early progress I'm making and it's an encouraging place to work out.

I recommend this Planet Fitness location highly!

Clean, friendly. And even when it's crowded, you're still able to use a lot of the machines. They are the newer versions than the older Planet Fitnesses. My only gripe is that none of these Planet Fitnesses in this entire area have a lying leg curl machine with the exception of the Enola location. Everybody knows that the lying leg curl machine is better than the sit down version machine. You get a better range of motion and isolate the muscles and it really works your glutes better . There's plenty of room in any of these PF's to get a lying leg curl machine. Other than that... I actually drive 15 minutes away from a Planet Fitness that I live a mile away from just so I can hit THIS PF gym. Clientele is way better than the other one. People are more respectful here and happy and friendly. Great job to the staff and owner of this location!!!

What a scam! I froze my account in person before I traveled and was told, to cancel my subscription, I need to call. Two months later I’m trying to cancel it via phone EXACTlY like I was told previously, but now they’re telling me, to do so, it needs to be in person of via mail (not even email). I appreciate the level of care that’s taken to keep the Hershey, PA center clean and organized. I’ve been to gyms where dumbbells are laying around or missing, but that wasn’t the case with this gym. My husband and I were really pleased at the quality of treadmills, free weights and machines that were available. Even better, the equipment seemed relatively new. I also really appreciate that Planet Fitness didn’t increase their membership fees considering the current inflation. Thanks! Keep it up!!!
