Great little Gym. Extremely well placed. Semi parking in the back but they've changed it from what the Google maps shows. Lots of good equipment. Decline Crunch bench is located in the squat racks. Lots of hip abductor. Great hacksquat.

Very clean ! Staff is always cleaning ! . I have been here during peak hours and non peak hours and it’s not too busy ! Staff is very friendly & extremely helpful! So easy to approach with anything . The member interactions I’ve had have all been very positive . No one is slamming weights no one that I have seen is taking videos of themselves on floor … there is plenty of cardio machines, equipment & free weights. I don’t think I’ve had to wait for a bench even once ! VERY VERY happy with this location .. only improvement would be a cybex Arc machine ? Pretty pretty please ??? lol I can’t say enough about the staff and how amazing there are .. I’m truly happy with the Manchester location.

I really like this PF location. Everything is kept really clean, all of the staff members have been very friendly and helpful (especially the evening shift when I am usually in). If someone isn’t at the desk it because they are out cleaning which I love to see and they come right over to assist me as soon as they see someone is waiting. I have noticed during busier times some people don’t clean their equipment after using it but that is not the fault of the staff, I’m more than happy to point at the person, point at the cleaning station and then at the machine they just left and didn’t clean. It usually works haha. The cleaning stations are always restocked frequently, the bathrooms and showers a kept clean, and I see staff walking around all the time cleaning equipment. I prefer this location over the one that is a little closer to me simply for the attention to cleanliness and friendly staff.

Switched to this gym after dealing with the disgusting West York Crunch for 3 years. The first thing I noticed was how clean this place is. It’s very refreshing to come in to a clean and neat facility, clean bathrooms, sanitizing spray that’s actually filled, and a welcoming staff. Thanks to the team here for doing an outstanding job.

This Planet Fitness location is definitely in the top three of my favorites. The layout and brighter environment definitely add to my lifting experience. The gym and employees all make you feel welcome and truly embody the "Judgement Free Zone" ethos. Will definitely be coming back here more often. 10/10

I feel my review needs updated, since opening, this gym has gone downhill. There is no enforcement of rules. The staff is always on their phones behind the front desk. Members never wipe down their machines, never put weights back or away, and staff never does anything about it. There are also constantly young kids running around around 6pm playing on machines, throwing medicine balls, and being disrespectful to other members. The staff has been informed multiple times and only 1 employee ever says something to them.

Old:
The staff is very friendly and does a good job of maintaining the equipment and making sure the gym is clean. The locker rooms are also well maintained. There are a lot of members that are careless/disrespectful and splash water everywhere while washing their hands or dirty up the urinals and floors. Unfortunately, it's hard to control that, but the staff always does a great job cleaning.

I wish there was more enforcement of having people wipe off their machines after use. It is amazing how many people finish their set and walk away leaving sweaty prints behind. More signs located around the gym stating to wipe off the machines after use might be helpful. (There are not many signs, if any at all) The cleaning stations are located conveniently throughout the gym and even have big flags on them. But again, you can't really control the careless/disrespectful people.

My only other recommendation is that they need bolt the machines down to the floor. The cable towers, smith machines, and some of the press machines are constantly moving and shifting around since they are not secure to the floor. The cable towers really need to be bolted down even for safety reasons.

Overall, this is a good gym with a well thought out layout, friendly staff, and pretty clean. I hope that it continues to be this way!

Why is this the only planet fitness in PA that is weird about the tanning sticker eye covers? You would think the eye covers are as rare as a diamond mined straight from ethiopa how they are stingy with it. Go to another PF if you want to tan for free instead of this one that refuses to give out eye stickers

Driving all over the United States is a beautiful thing. Being able to go to planet fitness is just as beautiful until you run into to wrong supervisor that makes your guest feels uncomfortable and sends them away while I'm inside the gym. I try to comfort my guest who wanted to use the restroom and shower. After being denied by staff my guest didn't want to return. I went to inquire why my guest was turned away, but it turns out this must be the only location that takes guest pictures in the US. So much for rights to privacy. Treat me bad not my guest.

My wife and I have used various gyms over the years (Crunch, Golds, La Fitness) and this is by-far is our favorite. Yes, the gym is brand new so everything is clean, the equipment is pristine, and the A/C works! The club is not crowded since it just opened but I am confident that we wont have any issues later because there are multiples of most pieces of equipment and many more options of different machines. The music is not too loud and the lighting is very good. I think my favorite part of the gym is the staff. They are always smiling and keeping everything cleaned and stocked. They are always engaging and make us laugh. We have the Black membership which allows tanning, massage chairs, and much more. We have not used half of the spa items.

Cons, there are few (and they don't really impact us). One, they don't have classes like spin cycle or Zumba. Two, they don't have loose barbells. They have plenty of dumbbells and they have several really cool Smith Machines where the barbell is in a track. It limits some of the types of exercises that you can do but it is safer and less cluttered looking.

We are already frequenting the PF in Manchester more than we had previous gyms.
