I was told that I had to keep it down by one of the managers because I was breathing too loud.lol Meanwhile, you have members on cell phones and singing throughout the gym with headphones 🎧 on. If I could 0 stars. The manager at this location, Tatyana, made me feel like an unworthy customer when I expressed I wasn’t sure why I was billed a fee and wanted clarity. Instead, she stated “you should have read the customer agreement”. I explained I didn’t see the small print but she cut me off and proceeded to ask me if I want to close the account. I did knowing that’s the kind of interaction I’ll have any time I have a question or concern. I truly was excited to start my fitness journey with Planet Fitness but after being treated so small I will take my business somewhere that appreciates my dollar and respects my voice.

Lesson Learned: In cases of Planet Fitness, surveys are SUPER important! Always fill them out and be honest! If you have a problem at one of the facilities, seek the manager's help! They ready do care... BOOM!!

Out of all the planet fitness in the county when we visit Pittsburgh this is our favorite one to come to. Clean, staff are friendly and the environment isn't crazy. Just wish they had better hours. They used to be open 24/7 and now close at 7pm on weekends !

In there today minding my business, working out and it was rudely interrupted. Let me start by saying I was in the Wrong, had my bookbag with me while working out. I know the policy, but I also know the gym isn't responsible for LOST ITEMS and I didn't have a Lock to lock my things up in a locker. So I kept my bookbag with me. I was asked to put my bookbag away which I attended to but the AGM pushed the issue further while I was headed to the locker room. She seem bored of the Job and wanted something to do so her Job served relevance. She rudely asked me to do something I was ALREADY ASKED, WHILE I WAS DOING IT. She seem to have an attitude about it so I didn't comply to her request. She called the Cops to remove me but luckily I was dam near done with my workout. Again I suggest PF Hire Fitness People so they can actually relate to the customers. The AGM is clearly there for the paycheck.. no humility, no class, she said I disrespected her but I just matched Energy. I pray she takes my Advice and starts actually utilizing the Gym she works at 💯 instead of acting like a Cop or Security, she ain't getting paid that much to do all that.

I have a pretty scathing review up of LA Fitness in Monroeville, PA. They could take a lesson from a gym that charges me 66% less. Every time I come here, Christian is always cleaning or checking equipment. Sue deserves a management position as he clearly cares about what he does and that can’t be taught.

Sure, you can’t really “max out” here but if you know how to workout with free weights and cables, there’s no reason to avoid it. No Hammer Strength or machines that follow the body’s natural movement patterns so I stay away from machines that restrict or limit the body’s natural range of motion and encourage my clients to do the same. Other than that, it’s all gravy, baby!

I use it as my 2nd gym but I like it the most.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The gym is clean, and while the machines aren’t all the newest, they are kept in very good shape. I actually prefer this gym to the one a few miles down the road because I have a disability, and there is more room to maneuver here, and the machines in particular are a little easier to navigate. The only downsides here are the handicap parking is often full, and the parking lot a little bumpy. Also, the floor in the gym has spots that are wonky, and you have to traverse carefully if using a walker.

Very unprofessional manager and staff. They humiliate you infront of other members if your not aware of their requirements which is not written in their policies or on walls or stations 🤔 how do they expect you to not do something that only they themselves agreed to amongst themselves (the managers and staffs)without formally notifying members? The last time I went there (which is my 1st time going there EVER!! ) one staff and manager interrupted my workout ON TWO DIFFERENT INTERVALS because I had a sanitizer bottle in my possession walking around with to the different workout machines to remind myself to spray my hands and machine before and after use also because of my sensitive immune system. BUT tge staff and manager both on seperate intervals rudely disrespected me about me carrying the bottle around right infront of other members instead of pulling me aside to speak amicable about their issue with me . I was in utter shock from their approach their unmannerly way of relating their unobvious requirements that i was unaware of in advanced of me ejecting that bottle I was utterly embarrassed traumatized and left with emotional distress unable to complete my workout routunefor that day and didn't work out for two days after that straight. I'm NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN UNTIL I RECEIVE A FORMAL APOLOGY FROM THE PARTIES WHO HUMILIATED ME or compensation for my humiliation and emotional distress caused by their staff and manager

Stay as far away as possible from these criminals. I signed up for $10/mo. membership about a year ago. I canceled this winter and later canceled the card I was using. They started spamming my inbox with demands for payment even though I'd canceled. They've somehow gotten ahold of a different card and have started charging me random amounts from $19 up $59 even though it was only ever supposed to be $10. I'm going to have to cancel all my credit cards and change my bank account now because they wont stop stealing.

Update. So I talked to them in person the next day after I left this review and they assured me it was all a mistake. They canceled by membership and said they'd refund me. It's now a month later, and they just charged me again.

When we had the membership and went it was great. Until we decided to cancel it, went in and signed the papers to cancel, were told we were all good and wouldn't be charged again. We were charged! Called them talked to managers, and the girl who originally canceled it, said it would be refunded and it was completely canceled, wouldn't be charged again. We just got charged again. Called them and the manager says oh your signed up for the basic membership, WE DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THAT, he then argues with us and says we did, he supposedly looks into the account and then says that the bank is making the charges for planet fitness and its not them, this is the stupidest thing I've ever heard and a complete lie! This needs resolved or we are taking legal action!

I wanted to start off thanking the New Manager Jamison for all his hard work so far. As soon as he was hired, Jamison and former manager Chris came in and gave the men locker room a cleaning like it hasn't had since Chris had taken a new job. The shower were disgusting until they scrubbed them and replaced the much needed shower curtains. Since Jamison has arrived, everyone has stepped up and the club is finally starting to get the much needed attention that its needed. This has to do with the Taymax Group: A lot of members are very upset with decision to change the times at all of the Planet Fitnesses that your Group owns.
