I recently moved to the area and was originally searching for a hot Pilates studio downtown, but had trouble finding one. I came across Pure Barre and decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did!

From the moment I walked in, the sales manager, Dina, was incredibly welcoming and helpful. She took the time to explain the different class formats and made me feel comfortable right away, which is such a relief when you’re new to both the city and the studio.

The workout itself is amazing—low impact yet surprisingly challenging, with a great mix of strength, flexibility, and cardio. The instructors are encouraging and attentive, offering clear cues and adjustments so you get the most out of every movement. I've noticed a huge improvement in my flexibility tremendously, such a game changer!!

The studio is spotless, stylish, and has a great energy that keeps you motivated. Even though it’s not hot Pilates, Pure Barre has quickly become my new favorite workout spot. I leave every class feeling stronger and more centered. I also love how they incorporate challenges with points to get me moving lol. Highly recommend!

The downtown Pittsburgh Pure Barre is a great location with outstanding, caring teachers. I’ve been a member for 3yrs and at this point I think I’ve taken classes with every teacher and it’s really impressive how energetic and consistent everyone is. It’s a great fun workout and community.

Was really excited about trying this studio. Came in at 7:58am (studio opens at 8am on Saturday according to their website). The door was propped open but no one was at the desk. They started class early. The instructor came out and told my friend and I that we could not enter class due to their policy because we were late?! I would never recommend this studio to someone looking for a class in Pittsburgh. Terrible customer experience. They should change their hours to open earlier if they want customers to come earlier to their classes. If you are looking for a great class and great community check out Solid Core, F45 or Mecka! Love the classes and community there.

I was a member for a couple of months when I asked to cancel my account. First they told me I needed to give about a months or so notice for cancellation and then told me I couldn’t cancel while my membership was on hold/freeze for the month. They made me jump through hoops for a simple cancellation and the whole process took me over two months and I ended up having to pay for month of membership because of this.

I had several phone conversations with them where they explicitly told me that the compromise they can work on is whenever I am available I am use the credits I paid for even after my membership expires. They also told me that due to the confusion with the cancellation the I wouldn’t be charged for the late fees. At the end of all this I was charged for months I did not WANT to attend, charged for the last fee, and now when I want to use the credits I was promised they tell me that they expired with my membership.

Instalaciones limpias y acogedoras. Las entrenadoras muy cariñosas y agradables. Me faltaría que corrigiesen más en las propias clases. Por lo demás, si te gusta este tipo de entreno es genial!

Jane came to Pure Barre North Fayette to teach some classes and I took her classic this past Sunday. She was fantastic and just had a great energy and spirit about her. She pushes you because she knows you can do it, and makes you feel confident in yourself. I know she normally works downtown but if she ever teaches at North Fayette again I would definitely take her class.

Friendly, energetic, helpful staff who truly care about you reaching your goals.
I've been doing 2 classes a week, due to my schedule, but they offer packages to fit your needs. They have events as well. I love that there's no judgement and the positive energy

Pure Barre has been a great experience for me personally to help with greater flexibility and core strengthening. A friend and I decided to try Pure Barre as an addition to our walking and running and the workouts have helped. We only have time for two a week and primarily do classic, though there are now classes early in the morning for Empower and Reform which gives a nice variety throughout the month. We like the early classes better than after work and it's worked out well. The instructors are amazing - friendly, helpful, and energetic. Worth it to check it out if you've been thinking of trying or want something additional to your normal routine. It's a beautiful studio as well.

Another amazing sweat sesh this morning at PB Downtown! I LOVE this studio. It’s in a fabulous location. The instructors are amazing; the workouts are phenomenal, and the friends you make along the way are so great. I am so happy to be a part of this pure barre community, cus that’s exactly what it is. I have never stuck to a work out routine before pure barre and I’ve been doing this consistently for about 4 or 5 months now and I’m hooked for life. If you’re looking for something new and low impact in downtown Pgh that gives you BIG TIME results, try this studio.

I’ve been a customer with the Pure Barre franchise since 2014. When I walked into the studio in Tulsa by myself and searching for new friends - I found that and more. That comforting feeling and sense of welcome have been present at multiple Pure Barres I’ve visited throughout the nation, except at this Pure Barre.

I recently found out I have to quickly move for work. I went to class and informed the front desk person and she instantly told me there was no way I could get around the 30-day notice. So, I was going to be forced to pay my membership despite being in another state. Since I used to work at a Pure Barre, I wondered if there was still a clause about relocation being exempt. And there was.

I contacted the GM and not only did she not even find that clause … I had to search for it, prove it to her and prove that I was moving … twice - I was never given an apology for how rude their staff was to me. It’s pretty clear this studio’s values aren’t on fostering a community of people interested in being healthy and staying fit. It’s just about cold calling members at least once a week to pay more for their membership or just not helping them when they have to leave unexpectedly.
