Honest review! I’ve taken my son to 5 tumbling classes in the Pittsburgh area and this one impressed me! My 1.5-year-old attended Tumble Tunes class and it was a great experience! It was such a clean facility and I was met with a warm welcome and instructions on what to expect. We started at Rompys house and had circle time where we sang , clapped and established what the class was going to entail. The theme was Under the Sea and the skill focus was jumping. The kids explored instruments, danced to songs, had a bubble dance party and practiced rolling climbing and jumping all while in a safe, toddler-friendly space. The instructor was warm, enthusiastic, and great with the kids. She was attentive and polite, answering questions, cheering on the kids and guiding the class.My only feedback would be to tie the class a little more strongly to the advertised theme/skill so parents know what their little ones are working on. Overall, it’s such a fun spot for kids 3 months to 5 years to learn through play, music, and movement. Highly recommend for active toddlers!

We stopped by for a trial class as we drove through Pittsburgh on our way to Ohio. Worth the stop! The kiddos (9 months and 19 months) had a blast and got out a ton of energy. Jordan was awesome with the kids. It was a smaller class (likely cause it’s Fourth of July weekend) but it was still amazing. Definitely recommend!

We loved our time at Romp n' Roll. Highly recommend. There is parking just behind the building and you enter at the rear. I really loved that they don't require your child participate in the class' programming if they don't want to - this is definitely different than other gym classes we have attended in the Pittsburgh region and it's so wonderful, developmentally. I had my daughter’s 3rd birthday party at Romp n Roll this past Friday and it was without a doubt one of the best days of her life! She was smiling the entire time and had a total blast with her family and friends. More than what I expected!! They do the work so you can enjoy your time. I had a toddler triplet birthday and always need extra hands and when having their 3rd party here it was pure excitement and joy for the family. The babies had the time of their lives with guided play and activities and to top it off had a personal touch with a bubble dance with their favorite song. My oldest daughter has some sensory needs and they helped by providing some noise canceling headphones. I was in a budget and wanted a private party and they were worth it and more. We had my son's 3rd birthday party here in December and when I say, it was top notch service from start to finish, I mean it sincerely!!

Starting with all of upfront information and check in calls/emails to review details and preferences, to walking in the door day of the party and having our host say "Hand me everything and we will take care of it all, go enjoy!" it was such a relaxing and fun way to celebrate our boy! There is something to be said about not having to stress about food, timing, set up, decorations, invitiations, activities for the kids, etc. The team kept a great schedule throughout the 1.5 hr long party and it was just the perfect amount of time for all kiddos and adults. We never felt rushed and we were able to just truly enjoy our son and all our friends and family! All our guests said it was such a fantastic party and everyone left with huge smiles on their faces. You will not regret having a party here, trust me!! The price was more than reasonable for all that was offered too.

Let me preface with my experience is a couple of years old, and policies may have changed. Obviously, it still bothers me if I'm leaving a review this long after.
I'm also going to add that I'm not their typical clientele from what I experienced. Most of the parents were quite well to do or stay at home mom's in families with expendable income. I felt a little out of place, personally. I work a lot. My husband works a lot, and we scrape by. A few years ago, we signed up for the 10 classes monthly package to split amongst my 2 kids so they could have something special. They loved going and were having a blast. Then, they got sick with RSV, double pnemonia, an abscess tooth, and an emergency extraction.. We ended up going in and out of the hospital and drs appointments for almost 2 months between the two of them. A while later, when my world stopped going nuts, I realized I didn't freeze or cancel the classes when I went to pay my electricity bill and couldn't. I called to see what could be done (because the package isn't cheap and keeping the lights on was the priority..) and was told no refunds, no exceptions. it was like the day after the charge. I was going to eat the first month as my own fault because you had to call and i kept thinking about it in the middle of the night. I think I even asked if they could check with a manager and get back to me, seeing as it was an extenuating circumstance, and it was still a no. I explained it was medical issues and 2 months of health problems, offered documentation - it didn't matter. They offered to freeze my account, and I eventually just canceled before they started charging again, and we never went back. I'm sure most of their clients wouldn't notice or care as much, but it felt a bit cold.. I get policies, but things happen, and a place like that should not only appreciate someone not bringing their sick kids in at the very least and consider the details of the situation. As a business owner myself, I find this as poor business practice.

I've been taking my little one here for about six months, starting when he was 20 months old. Nothing but positive experiences: the open playtime is a godsend on afternoons when he doesn't go down for his nap, I've loved doing the classes and watching him slowly get better at following instructions, and we even had his second birthday party here and it was a great way to keep six toddlers entertained for two hours!

The company should not promote or back parent bullying to families of color. Great place. We have been going there for over 3 years ( with two kids). The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The staff often changes, but they are all excellent at what they do. It was our 1st visit and I apparently picked the wrong date on the calendar for our open play. The host did an amazing job accommodating. I drove over an hour to get there, so I appreciated it greatly! The facility was pretty clean and had buckets for putting toys when kids put them in their mouth. I can't wait to join a class!

We had my daughters second birthday here yesterday and I cannot say enough great things about it! Staff took care of everything for us - set up, serving the pizza, clean up and setting out treat bags. When we left, everything including the gifts was packed up and by the door for us to take straight to the car. I didn’t have to lift a finger the entire time.

Staff was so easy to communicate when planning (even via text which was convenient) and during the party itself. The activities they organized in the gym were fantastic and the kiddos loved them!

We had only attended one class (open gym) prior to booking a party and it was enough for us to book a party but after actually hosting a party, I’m blown away and will recommend anyone with a toddler to check them out!

I hosted my daughters 2nd birthday party here & the place was amazing! The kids really enjoyed themselves. But, every single person had gave me feed back on the staff! The staff were really nice & helpful! But, they hovered everything ! My guest didn’t feel comfortable serving themselves because one of the employees stayed infront of the food table , basically not allowing guest to grab things. They would have to make the plate for them. Not only was it uncomfortable, but this employee had a really foul odor (no offense)! No one wants to get their food around an off smell! They rushed the entire party process. They didn’t take how I wanted to do things into consideration at all. They started to throw kids food away & when parents came back to the table their child’s food was gone. Overall, I give the place itself a 10, but to have a party at a 5! Very unreasonable spending!

We came here for an event and I'm glad I did. I didn't know this place existed. My son and daughter had a great time playing on the slide, jungle gym and other play items.

They enjoyed the songs and of course the bubble play at the end. There is parking if you go up the side of the building, I didn't see it until I went in so I parked on the street.

The staff was nice and they even have little toilets for the kids. I believe they have a membership so if you want to try it out just ask them at the front.

I brought my 2.5 year old here on a whim one afternoon for their $10 open gym free play. The gym is clean, bright and perfect for little ones. Lots of equipment, toys and fun. We enjoyed it so much we came back for a tumble tunes trial class. Upon arrival, the workers explained they are a membership-based program and offered us different packages for classes, and a discount if we joined that day. We ended up purchasing the 10-class pass and have not been disappointed. It’s a fun and educational program for those five and under. My daughter is always so excited to visit “Rompy’s House”

This place is absolutely amazing. My son has some sensory and social disorders so doesn’t always want to be super close to the other kids or participate in the activities right next to them and this facility totally accommodates that and allows kids to kinda just do what makes them happy (within reason of course). They say chucke cheese is where a kid can be a kid but I don’t think that’s true. It’s at romp n roll. Malcolm is absolutely awesome!!! Has never made me once feel uncomfortable about having my kid be outside the circle or art area and has still allowed us to participate in all the activities.. The bubble party is the absolute best, minus when the kids bump into each other lol but I don’t think it even fazes them!!

Great place to bring your toddlers to socialize, play, and learn. The instructors are lively and interactive, and the kids love it. They offer open play, as well as a guided gym class. Our two year old loses himself in the play and activities, and hopefully for a short period of time forgets about being cooped up in the house.

such a good experience! the patience with my son at his very first class made it such an easy decision to make this a more frequent thing, he loved it! It was his first time socializing with kids around his age, the class was not only catered to his age (1.5) but the older kids too! There’s no pressure to completely participate in the first class, it’s all about acclimating them to the surround!

A clean, safe place with a mixed group age of children's. There's fun activities for the kids and my son really loves this place as this is a great way for kids of all ages to meet, play and do projects with. Everyone is friendly including the parents there's enough parking space and the building is easy to find.

Romp and Roll Pittsburgh is without a doubt the BEST place for babies, toddlers and kids in the city! Friendly and professional staff, good prices, great classes. Mr Malcom is the BEST! The owner is super nice and helpful. The camp team is awesome! I enjoy the experience there every single visit!

I've been taking my son here since he was 8 months old and we both love it! He loves seeing other kids and I've seen him grow and learn every time we go to a class. It's also nice to see other adults since these days it's just me and a baby most of the time! Highly recommend it (and if my LO could talk, he would too!)

The staff is very patient, accommodating, helpful and they really know their clients and know it is important to remember the very importance of making parents and kids feel safe at play and included in the activities. They are incredible with dealing with kids with behavioral issues. It was a much needed service in our area because there is literally nothing for kids to do on the eastside. Its too bad they cant expand and get a bigger gym for older kids like up to age 10 they would be full everyday.

Our family loves this facility! The staff is amazing and really take the time to know their members personally. The facility itself is very clean and safe, and every week the setup and theme changes which keeps the kids engaged. Our 3.5 year old daughter has Autism and this has been a great outlet for her. The staff and extremely accommodating and always makes our family feel comfortable.
