I absolutely love this gym. Starr, who runs the front and keeps everything moving, is genuinely one of the kindest people I’ve ever encountered in a gym. She’s always welcoming, quick to offer help if you have a question, and she makes sure the equipment is working properly. And she does it all with a warm, genuine smile.. never forced, never rushed.

The facility is consistently clean, the members are respectful, and the whole place has a comfortable, no-judgment atmosphere. There’s also a great variety of equipment, so you can always find what you need without waiting around.

This gym has positive, friendly energy, and that comes directly from Starr. Highly recommend.

They do not understand business here. Customers will not be perfect. You can ask us to wipe the equipment down. You can ask us to put the equipment away. You can ask us to wipe our feet. You should not penalize us. However, if you expect the grow your business or continue to make profit...then the owner must remember, These are requests and that we are customers. And we pay to come here and is your responsibility as the owner of the gym for maintenance and to not chastise too eagerly the people keeping you afloat. We do not work here, you do, that's your job. Be more respectful and mindful to be successful or don't, and keep staying small. Bangor has Lil growth in population, if It was me, I'd want to attempt keep my customers, not threaten Them with cancelation over the fact that you don't want to pick up a broom here and there. Owner is continuously entitled and rude. I am not intimidated or worried they'll see this post bc it's the truth. I would hesitate before joining this place. They'll find ways to remove negative posts.
Update: 1/2 year passed and they get $30 per person, toilets never properly repaired and busted up equipment remain.
Update 12/22- due my review, business canceled my membership, star (owner) wouldn't even be civilized, though i was very polite and firm bout why the review remained the same because the toilets still had issues, keep your opinions to yourself I guess.

This gym was absolutely excellent! Great variety of machines and equipment. Star (the manager) was so kind and welcoming. The gym was is exceptionally clean as well. Can’t recommend this place enough! 10/10

Love this gym! It’s clean, quiet, and never overcrowded — perfect for getting a solid workout in any time of day (or night!). I love this gym! It feels like family when I'm there. They have a ton of machines and everything is super clean. I love having my access card so I can go whenever it fits in my schedule. Highly recommend!!

I like the small gym atmosphere. There isn't a lot of space to stretch though and the room in the back can get filled with people doing floor exercises. However it's clean and secure.

I have been going to this gym for years, it has gone through different owners and management but Starr is by far THE BEST manager. She is not judgmental, She helps everyone who comes in there even when she isn’t working and is just there to work out. If you belong to this gym it’s like a family and everyone will agree that Starr is amazing. Sure the gym is small but what do you expect in a small town? Don’t believe other reviews!

This place is judgemental and disorganized! I have been attempting to get a membership and each time I have been turned away with a different excuse. Every time I call no one returns my calls. Today was my third time going to the gym to set up my membership in person. I was met by a women that judge me on my race. She literally acted like I could not ask any questions and I needed an appointment. She questioned why I wanted a membership. I am honestly done trying after this experience. I was definitely judge today and treated less than equal.

I have attempted like others to cancel my membership for months . The staff strings you along saying “that they will take care of it “.Not professional “STAR”. As they continue to swipe my account monthly haven’t been a active member in over 6 months . I had to go to extreme measures through my bank account to stop payment. Never give your bank information to this place . As they will continue monthly payments to keep afloat place definitely not worth $40 a month . And it shows place practically empty most times .

This gym is decent, the women that work there are always attentive and super friendly, ownership changed a couple months ago and it definitely shows, less staffed hours, not as many members as there used to be, and trainer is rarely there. Hopefully the new owners can figure things out quickly.

My son has tried several times to cancel his membership since he was going back to college. His calls were not returned and they are still taking money from his account each month. I have called several times this week and have sent an email as well....all of which were unanswered. Sad way of conducting business

I had to take a break after fracturing my heel 2 years ago, so I’m a returning member. They’ve done some remodeling, added a private video workout room and added some awesome machines since I’ve been gone! I loved it before but now it’s even better! Everyone is really nice there, helping out if you want/need help. I highly recommend it!
