🌟 Spire Fitness: Where Strength Meets Soul
Back in March, I faced a melanoma scare that led to surgery and a deep reckoning with my own mortality. As someone who’s always embraced a healthy lifestyle, the experience was jarring. Losing running due to back issues felt like losing a piece of myself. With the culmination of both, I knew I had to pivot, and strength training became my new path forward.
That’s when I found Spire Fitness—ironically tucked beside a popular water ice spot in Yardley. I walked in hoping for a good workout. What I found was a life-changing community! There is so much to choose from: strength training, personal training, yoga, Pilates, stretch labs, etc. Every class is different and challenging but achievable. The trainers encourage you to try new things and to challenge yourself! I love it.
Jamie, a trainer at Spire, is my kindred spirit—fiery, fierce, and an absolute rockstar. Her energy lights me up and pushes me to dig deeper every time I step into class. Colleen, the owner, is the heart of Spire. Her warmth, wisdom, and inclusive spirit have created a space where everyone feels seen and supported. Together, these women challenge me in different ways, and I’m so much better for it.
Every class introduces me to more incredible people to work out with and I look forward to every class! It’s not just fitness—it’s connection, healing, comradery and empowerment. I truly can’t imagine my life without Spire in it!

I have been going to Spire Fitness for the past few months as I wanted to begin strength training for the first time ever at age 42. Colleen has been an incredible trainer - simultaneously meeting me where I'm at but also challenging me to try new things. I feel so much more confident since I started going, so much more energy and it's also a great way to release stress. I've also really enjoyed the mobility classes for a more low key full body stretch session before starting the work day. Highly recommend - especially for someone like me who is intimidated by the mega gym setting.

I started working 1:1 with Colleen as my personal trainer about 8 months ago. My goal was to set myself up to succeed in focusing on an overall fitness program in support of healthy living and aging. Colleen’s genuine interest in my success has been a key reason for me sticking with it and I actually look forward to going. She’s skilled at whole body fitness routines and always mixes it up to keep things interesting. I am active but never did strength training but as I age I feel it’s more important. Colleen has a great team with a lot of positive energy to energize you and challenge you. Spire Fitness is phenomenal for many reasons. There are a variety of workout classes led by instructors who are knowledgeable, skilled, and caring. The classes are small and the workouts are challenging, fun and effective in helping to build strength and increase your fitness level. I really enjoy coming to Spire. As a senior, I was in need of some strength training and was referred to Colleen. So happy I found her. Not being one for exercise, I found her sessions enjoyable and impactful. I love this gym! I walked in here a few months ago with no exercise skills or knowledge. Learning how to exercise has been a game changer. I’m dropping pounds and gaining muscle. I cannot say enough about Spire Fitness. Colleen is tuned in to my specific needs. She is excels at adapting a workout to meet my needs/specific issues. She sees everyone. She focuses on everyone. This is the perfect place for small group classes. They offer personal training too! I have felt so comfortable with the trainers and everyone who attends classes there is so nice. Everyone introduced themselves and is genuinely kind and you feel like you’re just hanging out all while getting a good workout in! There’s also a nice variety to the classes so you can find whatever you’re looking for.

Her schedule is flexible and she does her best to figure out a time for me to work out and it for some reason our schedules conflict she will text me a workout to do, I appreciate this so much! Because of Covid-19 I stopped training with her for a little bit but when the weather got warm I started working out with her at falls park, so convenient! I was able to bring my kids too which was super helpful! Now that the weather is cold I started doing zoom sessions with her!! So convenient and such a great workout!
