I highly recommend Stallone Gymnastics. Last year I moved my daughter over to Stallone from Berks East and was extremely happy I did. The gym was extremely clean, very organized and thorough when it came to what was to take place for the season. The coaches were fantastic, spending individual time with each gymnast, helping them through their routines so they were ready to compete. If you had a concern, the coaches were quick to help you in a professional manner. If a gymnast was scared to perform, the coaches knew exactly how to talk to them giving the courage to keep trying. It also helped a great deal knowing that a few of the coaches are in fact judges with USA gymnastics. Having the expertise on deductions, high points, etc.
When my daughter started, she was greeted with gymnasts from all the levels and made friends quickly. The moms on the level 6 team treated us like family and even showered my daughter with gifts when she was injured for a month. Constantly checking up on her to see how she was doing.
Stallone is a fantastic gym overall and I would give them more 5 stars if I could. <3

My daughter started here when they first opened and now many years later, she is on the competitive team. We find that over the years we have seen so much support and growth that we are very happy with her journey. We have also been witness to the reputation the team girls have outside of Berks County, when competing on the state, regional and national level. We are so lucky that we have a "world-class" gym in our back yard.

My daughter transferred to Stallone shortly after they opened. She participated in their Rec program for several years and then transitioned to the team.

We have been extremely satisfied and feel that their program provides a great environment for her to continue competing.

I was a bit surprised to read some of the other reviews because they do not factually represent what I have seen.

From the Rec program to the team, each girl receives individual attention from the coaches. My daughter was injured earlier this year. The coaches worked with her to develop workouts that allowed her to continue training while she healed.

Parents are more than welcome in the practices and this has been the standard for as long as we have been there.

Stallone has provided a supportive environment for our daughter to progress and we are thrilled with the program.

Our daughter has been attending for a few months now after moving from another gym and the difference is night and day. The coaching, level of kindness and encouragement and the general atmosphere is so much nicer. I love staying to watch because I can see how much my daughter loves it but also feel comfortable leaving her because I know she is having the best time.

I wanted her to thrive in a competitive environment but also somewhere that nurtures her joy of gymnastics. This gym has all those qualities.

My daughter has been going to Stallone for 7 years now. I have nothing to say but amazing things about their staff and gym. The gym is always kept clean and the equipment in great condition. The coaches have watched my daughter grow up and have always been extremely supportive and encouraging on every level. They sincerely care about their students and always keep the parents in the loop on any struggles or achievements the kids have. We are always updated with the latest information regarding schedules meets, payments etc. in a timely fashion. They have several colleges every season come out and watch students from their gym for potential scholarships. All the youth attending and competing have amazing relationships and are so kind and supportive to each other. They are always cheering fellow teammates on during meets and really amp one another up when someone nails a new skill for the first time. I’ve never seen such a tight knit group of kids encouraging and supporting each other the way these kids do. I have nothing but love for this gym and their staff. I highly recommend Stallone to anyone thinking of putting their child in gymnastics. Do it! They do not disappoint!

I just read a strangely negative review posted here and thought I would set the record straight about our positive experience at this gym. This gym has wonderful owners, coaches, families, and gymnasts.

My daughter is an upper level optional gymnast who joined the team at Stallone mid season. From the very first day, the coaches approached myself and my daughter to invite me to watch training and discuss her goals. We drive a long distance to practice, so I sometimes stay in the area and watch part of practice. There are often 1-2 other parents watching, but most don't stay to watch an entire team practice. The coaches always seem happy to have parents there watching. I enjoy seeing how happy my gymnast is and the sound of both coaches and gymnasts cheering the girls on. This is true both at practice and at competition.

This is a gym that produces top level athletes who do well at the state, regional, and national level and win college scholarships (if that is the goal of your gymnast). You will find many other team and recreational gymnasts here for whom that is not the goal, and in this gym, that is okay. The coaches work equally with all athletes regardless of skill level and help each gymnast be her best. Most importantly, the coaches create a fun and non critical environment for the girls and they all look happy to be there. Each girl is expected to put forth her best effort, and the coaches truly seem to want the best for each girl and see them as humans, not just as gymnasts.

My 6 year old daughter has be going to Stallone for 3 years now and is moving to team this summer. She would live at the gym if she could. Every single coach has been so good with teaching her, encouraging her and helping her gain new skills. She loves every coach in that gym and they have all ignited her love for gymnastics. Hands down one of the best, if not, the best gym around. Very high quality coaches that are both experienced in the sport and are mentors. They have coaches that are great from beginners all the way up to nationally ranked gymnasts. They always have a smile on their face and welcoming to all gymnasts and parents. I have been comming to Stallone Gymnastics with my Daughters since summer of 2021. I knew instantly this gym was amazing. The lobby has plenty of seating to see what event my girls are practing at. I have one on team and one joining team this year. I stay for most of the practices and love to watch the coaches interact with my girls. They are always so kind and know how to get each gymnast to learn new skills and really enjoy the sport. The staff is always available for any concerns or questions I may have. I can't wait to see what the upcoming years will bring for my girls as they continue to progress and gain more friendships while being at Stallone Gymnastics.

My daughters have been attending Stallone for about 2 years. While we are relatively new to the gymnastics world, we are not new to youth activities and sports and I can’t recommend Stallone highly enough. I usually stay away from reviews altogether but after reading through these I can’t help but feel I need to say something.

My child is a current student at Stallone and has been for quite some time. I can say it Is true that I was told a while ago ,by staff , during team practice parents were not permitted. I now also see parents that have been there for a long time all of a sudden posting reviews . Seems like they maybe trying to cover or negate the bad review they recently got. (Not cool)

I am not totally displeased with the place but feel it is very “cliquey”. If you look at the reviews a lot are posted by there own staff. Especially now after the bad review (.Again not cool) Also several teachers have students that go there when they’re teaching, which seems to take the focus off them teaching my child because there looking at their own child making hand motions and quietly coaching them. Not a very professional practice if you ask me.

I have seen some drama with upper level girls and a few instructors several times in my time here. One instructor in particular J&?@.

For now I am staying , just because it conveniently closer than others, but I am quietly shopping others places. Overall it’s an Ok place for entry level into the sport. (No real upper level coaching) It is to bad to see this drama but being have been there for a while I am not surprised.

I didn’t know it was illegal to not let parents watch, (even on team) but know I was told this too. It will be interesting to see if their “quiet policy “, on this changes now.

Our Three Daughters are on the Competitive Team at Stallone Gymnastics and We LOVE the Gym! It is a Safe and Encouraging Environment for our girls and we have been very pleased with the Training they have received over the past 4 years. Gymnastics is a very demanding sport and takes a lot of determination and dedication...the Coaching Staff is very invested in my gymnasts and keeping all the Safe Sport Rules and Regulations given by USA Gymnastics. Since all three of my children are at Stallone over 20 Hours a week I spend a lot of time at the gym watching their practice and working in the Lobby. All of the coaching staff are very supportive and friendly to me and my husband. When your daughter is on a Competitive Team as demanding as Gymnastics there are certain rules that the parents must respect during a Gymnastics Meet and it is nice to know that my children are in the BEST HANDS with the Coaching Staff at Stallone Gymnastics!!!

My daughter absolutely loves Stallone. She has been going here since 2017. She is first year on team & loves every minute of it. The owners Gina & Marty are extremely kind. They take great pride in keeping an extremely clean facility. They care for the well being of each child that practices here. It’s absolutely amazing! I see it first hand! I’m in and out of the gym during team practice all the time. It is to far for me to drive home. I watch & do work while sitting here. I have had some great conversations & learned a lot about being a team parent from the veterans. All of the coaches interact with the girls/boys in a very professional manner. They truly care about each individual girl/boy in this gym. Special shout out to all the coaches & your hard work. Mrs. Christy, Mrs. Jene, Mrs. Reagan, Miss. Maddie, Miss. Daughter has been in gymnastics for several years. We have been here approximately 1 year. We came from another much larger gymnastics facility that begins with a “P”.

The small size and very limited staff were concerning initially. My daughter became accustomed to the initial shortfalls.

Long story short when your child goes to team they instruct parents are not allowed to watch practices. This is a direct violation of the Safe Sport Act of 2017. I implore all parents who did not know this to exercise your right to be able to watch your child if you do desire.

At a meeting where owners Gina and Marty, as well as coach Christy attended, they still tried to prohibit parent participation at team practices. When finding out I knew the Safe Sport Act The owners quickly backtracked and tried to cover their initial prohibition statement.

Unknown to many is that Stallone owners were close affiliates of the large agency in Allentown, beginning with a “P” until a falling out prompted their sudden departure.

The instructors are sub par at BEST compared with other area gyms. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. If you take an interest in your child’s sports and enjoy watching them grow and advance THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. If your looking for a drop and go place akin to a glorified active daycare they’ll suit your needs.

It’s truly a shame that places like this need to exist. THEY MAY BE THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL STUDIO I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED.

Suffice to say several complaints and litigation will be forthcoming. Safe Sport complaint already filed.

Sorry for the lengthy rant but I don’t want to see another involved parent or child be disappointed by this place.

My daughter has been attending for several months. This place is far superior to any other gymnastics gym. Theres many differant age groups and good trainers for each bracket. Keeps the kids motivated and not overwhelmed. The overall attitude of the gym is what allows the kids to have fun and learn at the same time. The gym equipment is in great shape and has everything a gymnast would need. From bars, beams, trampolines, foam pit, ect. The entire gym is also on a spring floor
