I came from Maxx Fitness to join Super Sets. Loved this place at first. Such a good variation of equipment, enough squat racks and friendly staff. The past 3 months this place has taken a turn for the worse. There are piles of dust everywhere. Quite a few pieces of equipment that have been broken or constantly re-broken over the past 3-5 months. The gym etiquette is terrible, I’m constantly having to unrack weights left by others before I can begin to use multiple pieces of equipment here. The cleanliness of this gym really needs to be addressed by staff asap. Members need to do better about putting weights back and not leaving paper towels on the floor, there are multiple garbage cans throughout the gym.

I use to train at Golds Gym at both Lehigh Street and Whitehall. When they closed I was at a loss to find a Gym comparable to Golds. Planet Fitness is a haven for the woke Starbucks crowd spending most of their time sitting on equipment on their phones. Then I found Supersets Gym. The Gym checks all my boxes for what I am looking for in a gym; comparable to Golds. Friendly front desk staff, numerous equipment and free weights, great environment and a good vibe from all working out at the gym. Golds Gym reincarnated under another name.

Place has gotten light-years better in recent weeks and months as it looks like they are under new management that appears to care a lot more for the place, the equipment, and the people. I've seen equipment get repaired and things are a lot cleaner. Doing their best and its showing

This gym is a complete scam and a health hazard. It’s always filthy—dirty floors, grimy machines, and bathrooms that are never cleaned. Most of the equipment is broken, and every time you ask about it, they give the same excuse: “parts are on back order,” yet nothing ever gets fixed. To make matters worse, the owner is shady and dishonest.

Countless members, including myself, have tried to cancel our memberships through phone and in person filling out the cancelation form, only to keep getting charged month after month. It’s clear they’re more interested in stealing money than providing a decent facility. It’s clear they care more about taking people’s money than running a respectable, clean, and functional gym.Avoid this place at all costs.

I joined supersets when the Schnecksville location was opened. Just recently canceled my membership because I’m building a home gym. I just want to say that the owner and the schnecksville staff have always been respectful and understanding of any issues I’ve had, and the gym itself was clean and kept up every time I was there! Not sure about the other locations as I’ve never been to them, but I figured I’d take the time to leave a positive review amongst a few bad reviews. Thanks for the positive experiences that Supersets gave me while I was working out there!

My fiancé and I began working out at South Mall location immediately when it opened, since that time the benefits are that it is open 24/7 allowing early morning risers and night owls to lift with no issue. Unfortunately, this location is very consistently dirty throughout the equipment area and bathrooms especially. Gym etiquette is far and few between with plates spread out on the floor, leaning against other equipment, and benches spread throughout the gym where they do not belong. I believe staff do what they can, due it being a large gym they cannot be everywhere at once monitoring lifters AND be at the front desk to greet people/make sales etc. Equipment is very out dated and “newer” items are already beginning to deteriorate due to disrespectful lifters or misuse of these pieces. The cardio area is a tripping hazard with cords and metal outlets on the floor and not enough plugs to utilize the stair master that currently “out of order” for at least a month with a note that says a new one is “coming soon”. I believe Ed the owner needs to make more of an appearance at this location to address the issues at hand due to the fact of conversations that I’ve had with other members that the only reason we are here is purely the convenience of the location. I do understand that change cannot happen overnight; however, small things like spreading out equipment properly so people at bumping into each other takes only time to correct. With small changes and a few new quality pieces of equipment this gym has so much potential and the staff (Seth, Jon, and Bekah) that I’ve spoken too are very friendly and willing to hear members out with concerns and possible ideas to make this location reach its full potential.

The owner of this place had the guts to transfer my Gold's Gym payment information (when he managed it) to his personal "supersets" gym and continued charging my credit card even after closing the account with them. Had to file a credit card fraud case with my bank. A total scam.

Edit: So, you decided to answer by talking about a supposed clause in the previous contract with Gold's Gym, well, that would've been an awesome answer is you had any documentation with my signature at your Supersets gym stating what you're claiming, I asked for it and you had absolutely nothing. Where's that contract? You're claiming I didn't reach out before, well brother, that's none of your business, I never signed any paperwork agreeing on going to a gym 18 miles away from where I live. That's what you should focus on.

Idk what type of business is being run here but I signed up for a year commitment. I fulfilled my year commitment and got a new gym. WHY THE HELL AM I STILL BEING CHARGED WHEN I FULFILLED MY YEAR. I haven’t made a payment since September and y’all charge my card THAT ISNT ON FILE. I need to be refunded it’s been well over 3mo and it’s supposed to change to monthly. Give me my money back.

Ever since joining supersets I have been very happy with their equipment what they have to offer, the fact that they are truly open 24/7 and their staff. The manager Jon there is very social and makes sure that he greets everyone as they come in which goes a long way for people coming to work out. Would highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Super Sets since May, but the women’s bathrooms have been terrible lately. Over the past month, one stall door broke off and was never fixed, and today, another door was off the hinges. The handicap stall had paper towels clogging the toilet, and another stall was full of poop—it was gross.

The trash cans in the women’s bathroom are always overflowing, and the paper towel dispensers, both in the women’s bathroom and on the gym floor, are empty most of the time. Things have gotten worse since the manager Jacob left. Today was the last straw—I’m going to start looking for a new gym. I can’t recommend this place anymore.

Recommend this gym, opened up about 1 year ago. Located behind the South Mall (parking behind Ross). Never busy, quiet, motivational, with people working out at every step of the fitness journey. Nice employees who will greet you coming and leaving. Would give 4.75 stars. Big variety of machines but some (2-3) are broken. No included wifi. Membership is a respectable cost. Minimal issues but never any financial ones. Great place to work out!!

BUYER BEWARE. This gym is a scam. The owner and his buddy Jacob scam their customers. My wife and I both were victims of this guy. Read your reviews. We both canceled and we continued to be charged. Our card on file was swiped numerous times at all different times of the day and for all types of things we don't consume. They will charge your account numerous times per month and charge the yearly fee multiple times per year. The owner was horrible to deal with and told me "yea Jacob has done this before" when confronted about our cancelation fee we paid. Yet they continued to charge my account. On top of that the machines are always broken, there's always some toilet overflowing. Scammer beware

Currently doing Personal Training with Seth… He has been very professional and educating me in the proper ways to use the equipment to refrain from getting injuries but also to get a complete workout! Highly Recommend this gym!
