I’m going to mimic previous reviews, and whatever the staff replies to this is just filler as they have with previous complaints you’ve seen in this review thread.

I’ve been a confirmed canceled/inactive member for WELL over a year now, and when I was active I paid every bill on time (auto each month from my bank account).

I canceled in person, then called to confirm in person later on since I was still getting charged thereafter. The rep on the phone who took my call “canceled” my membership once again.

I’ve been getting charged going on almost 2 years now for a gym I’ve been a canceled and inactive member of (I’ve went in person to cancel and confirmed over the phone later on) and I’m STILL being charged to this day. I canceled this membership a long time ago when I could no longer commit. I don’t remember who was there at the time, but I came in at a time before closing hours and that rep confirmed to my face of my cancellation status. Then, as I said, confirmed via phone call of my account status sometime in 2024.

I called today after seeing YET ANOTHER transaction posted to my account, and the rep once again confirmed my account has been inactive. Couldn’t tell me when it was deemed inactive or provide information of the name of the rep who completed my in-person cancelation.

The reps in person and both times on the phone confirmed my cancelation status each time, yet I’m still being charged and was told “I don’t know what to say” when prompted about the possibility of future transactions.

This is perhaps the most dysfunctional private business in the area and I will pursue further action.

Been coming here for a few years, really good gym and love coming back, employees are always very friendly and nice.

My only semi-complaint, I wish there were some more Stairmaster machines, both machine are constantly taken when I am there (I come in the afternoons) and now 1 of 2 machines is broken. There is other equipment at that gym I see rarely used, so totally get there is limited space.

Disgusting and Overpriced—Stay Away!

I am incredibly disappointed with this gym. First off, it’s ridiculously overpriced for what you get. You’d expect a premium experience for the amount they charge, but instead, you’re greeted with filth and neglect. The equipment is ancient and barely functional, with many machines looking like they haven’t been cleaned in years. The entire facility is dirty—from the bathrooms to the workout areas.

It’s clear that management has no interest in maintaining the place or providing a clean environment for members. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs. You’re better off working out at home.

The lowest quality equipment. Cracked glass. Dirty bathrooms and every month new charges randomly appear on my credit card from signing up. Take a look and do not recommend if you want a consistently approachable and friendly environment.

The worse ownership I've seen from a private gym.
The mirrors are cracked. The equipment is soaked with sweat. The annual fees are not talked about. Every month the bill is a different amount. It's absolutely unacceptable for the quality of gym to be charged 70-80 a month when it's advertised as 39 a month.

You have to put $100 down to start. That isn't displayed anywhere . No water fountain except tap water from a sink. Will not recommend. Will not go back.

I love Bethlehem Supersets. Ed always responds. If I want any drinks/supplements after hours, I just take what I need and shoot him a text the next day and he trusts me and just bills me for it. I had to cancel my membership last year due to health conditions and I did it in person and he took care of it right away. I signed up again a few months ago over the phone and left me my key tag to get in that night after hours.

This gym was supposed to cancel my sons membership since September. After many calls and him stopping in they are still charging him. He is a college student and has not been home. Was told I'd get I refund, after the gym I was using closed. And transferred our memberships there without any notice. Was charged an annual fee for my wife and I, for a gym I didn't even know existed. Called multiple times and was told the manager would call me back. This has been going on for a year. my gf was being charged for 9 months, i have text messages that the owner would delete her account, didnt and kept charging me anyways, they have sent me through hoops the past couple months when i tried to get the money back to which the owner says he would take care of it, still only received a little less than half that was owed, i follow up every other day, have sent emails and text messages with the proof and still have yet to be given the whole refund. unreal

Ed is either the most oblivious person in the world or the biggest scumbag out there. I signed up with him and paid a couple bucks extra for month to month over the yearly membership then when I went to cancel about 6 months in he informed me I had signed up for a yearly membership and there would be a cancellation fee for the remainder of my membership. I know I didn't sign up for the year, but okay whatever. 12 months roll around and he continued to overcharge me after the fact I had to hound him to cancel my account and to stop charging my credit card. Every time he replied and said he would but had to get the bank to do a charge back for the 13th month he overcharged me. And then he tried another month as well. Dude just straight up lies to people and uses shady business practices.

Very laid back gym with a great staff. Responsive with questions and the personal trainers are very knowledgeable. 24/7 gym with a variety of supplements, energy drinks and meal prepped food to purchase. Can’t beat it. You will definitely get a work out in the summer time and work outs outside with the garage door opened.

Just cancelled. Too packed with kids who flex in the mirror and they took out the punching bag and switching to keycards for 24/7 members because I suppose they’re getting understaffed. Go figure. And also to cancel it’s a 75% of your total cost for the year if it’s a year membership. Maybe there was a fine print I didn’t read, most likely my error, but still. Drastic changes made to the gym without any updates or accommodation for members then sure. Charge me whatever so I can get as far away. Also got a 36$ charge for absolutely nothing, which is kind of what is fueling this review, if the 75% fee wasn’t enough already.

While I normally go to the Easton location, this original Allentown location is still a great option. There is a large selection of equipment that is decently well-maintained. There's no air conditioning, which gets a bit rough in summer, but keeps in line with the fact that this is a gym for people who want to get and stay fit, not for those who want to be coddled. If you're easily offended by other people working out, get upset by noisy weight training, or need free pizza and candy to work out, you should definitely pass on SuperSets. But by all means, if you're trying to get in a good workout, please stop by!

Supersets is the best gym in the Lehigh valley hands down. The members work hard, help each other out, and take care of the equipment. The owner is one of the nicest guys out there. If you don’t want to go to a serious, body building gym, go to a planet fitness where you can be quiet and wear layers of clothing to avoid getting kicked out :)

They play great music but the gym is absolutely small the equipment is too close to each other it’s too tight for me and it’s not very women friendly. It needs an area dedicated to stretching and yoga. This is just a weightlifting gym.

Honestly one the best experiences I’ve had at a gym. Ive been trying to find a good middle ground between most commercial gyms and at a home more rugged garage type of gym and supersets definitely delivered that feeling. The team and its members provided membership info that I hadn’t even been aware of that would benefit me in the future as well as delivering this really nice approach where I felt more than comfortable working out there. Member connection with a gym is extremely important and it’s more than shown here great job and good luck guys!

I was looking for a new gym and wow can I just say these reviews look terrible. This is a message to the owner, you don’t have to listen to me or may not care but just some little advice… Don’t respond in a negative way to the a client who had a “bad experience” even if their making your “gym” look bad, you still shouldn’t be responding to them in a negative manner. This shows a lot more then you think and will REALLY have a big effect on your business. I bet your loosing customers everyday just because of the way you respond to your customers. This is coming from someone who has had experience with a business and has dealt with negative comments. You should never respond back in a disrespectful way. Simply apologize and ask how you can do better. Even if you don’t mean it. It will change the way a lot of people see your gym. God bless you and I hope things go good for your Buisness.

If the ceiling is leaking with nothing but a “bucket to catch it” fix, I can only imagine the other horrors that are covered up.
Also, please note the “professionalism” in the owners response to reviews he doesn’t like. That should be enough to steer anyone way from any type of business

Editing so I can reply to the owner: if you were aware of your business, you’d know I HAVE had a tour and trained there for 2 months. So the ceiling leaking is based off of my personal experience, as I made comment of that while I was working out one day. There’s a reason I didn’t join after my training, because I heard of all the negative comments about you and your business BEFORE the “disgruntled” employee was let go.

The lack of professionalism at this gym is unbelievable. I've been attempting to cancel my membership here for the past year, and have continued to be charged no matter how many times I try to get in touch with them. After contacting the billing agency, they informed me that my membership was renewed after the initial year of obligation was over. This means that not only was I charged and ignored when attempting to contact someone, but my membership was renewed entirely without my consent. Awful business practices

They are a FRAUD I became a member back in April just because I had hired a trainer and after I completed my 3 month training i canceled the membership in July and canceled it with the Owner and he supposedly said that I was going to be charged only for that month of July. I saw my bank account and these Thieves charged me for the month of August and now September And today I called and whoever answered just wrote down my name phone number and said that they were gonna call me back tomorrow which is the second time I called and they say the same thing sometimes your phone doesn’t even work

I love that this gym isn't a mainstream or corporate gym. It has an old school feel with people who are strictly there to better themselves, no nonsense or extras. Supersets has everything you need to train in the way you prefer. They offer much more than other gyms in terms of supplements of all variety, meal plan services, and apparel with the logo. Overall, I gave this gym a 4-star rating because I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it other than the fact that the wifi could be better.
