Sweat PGH is so unbelievably amazing. I’ve been a member there for a few years and when my husband got sick with ALS, they came together to help us in a time of need. You truly will never come across a better group of instructors or an owner than works as hard as Katie. And their cycling class is the best that you will ever find. ❤️

Sweat Pittsburgh has everything going for it - challenging classes, a clean well-stocked studio, amazing Instructors (who take the time to get to know you) and a supportive community that is encouraged and nourished by the Support Staff and the Instructors. The classes offered are varied (Barre, Cycle, Yoga, Dance, Power and Stretch & Meditation), they are offered to accommodate all schedules (early morning and evening) and the Instructors switch the content monthly so you are never bored and your body/muscles are constantly challenged. I appreciate the age range here as well - everyone is welcomed. Sweat makes working out fun, while challenging you to be the best version of yourself. Love it and highly recommend!

I have been going to SWEAT since the birth of my second child. I love the group classes. The instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and fit! Everyone who works their and attends classes are so kind. It’s like we are all one happy family. Everyone supports and motivates each other. Joining SWEAT PGH has made me love going to the gym! SWEAT had a new client special and after several years of slacking on working out, I decided to give it a try. I honestly can't recommend the studio enough. Every person I have encountered, from the front desk staff to the instructors to the other members, have been kind, welcoming, and reassuring. Jump starting your fitness journey after a several-year hiatus isn't easy, but SWEAT makes it feel possible. Halfway through my intro month I decided to sign up for an unlimited membership. I can't wait to keep SWEATing.

I won a giftcard for here and had them add it to my account. I tried to book a few times and classes were always 15 people deep in waitlist even on the day the new class schedule would post. Been a part of several gyms and usually when this happens they open up more class times eventually after so much demand. It’s been a few months and went to site to try again and my giftcard membership is no longer on my account it just disappeared

Affordable classes based studio! Plus - lots of different types of classes in one studio. That was key for me - I might get lazy and skip much needed yoga if I had to go a separate place. This makes it easy for me to actually take the standard advice of varying my workout types while still getting to work with a trainer in a class every single time. Also - lots of different times so you can do what works for you. Mostly women - which is a nice vibe. On-site childcare for those who need it. Instructors are nice and helpful- always ready to answer questions, explain things clearly. I like that there's always something new going on. Keeps me from getting bored or burned out - my biggest issues.

If you book with Sam, prepare to be SORE after!! She is absolutely amazing and helps gets you through it. I have been a member at SWEAT for over a year and I love it. I started with power and cycling, and fell in love. The instructors are always so welcoming and encouraging. I now can proudly say that I have taken every class there and they are all great. I love that I can always switch it up and never get bored. One thing that makes this place different than most is their childcare. It is a blessing to know my kids are in great hands while I can get some time to take care of myself. Only went to this location once. Purchased the $65 special for unlimited classes to give it a try. Their website spoke about how welcoming their team will make you feel. I will tell you, the moment I walked into sweat PGH I felt the opposite. Awkward looks, no one greeting me. I was late, and by late I got there at the time the cycle class started. I called 10 minutes prior to notify them, and they did say it was fine. Was not told I was too late to join the class. Meagan gave some awkward looks (I guess she didn't know how to handle the situation?) but tried to make it work for me and be accommodating. She asked another lady (don't know her name) to lead me and guide me to the class. The lady left me behind and was rude, huffing and puffing because I guess I was a drag for her to help out? Kept mentioning the fact I needed to get there early (as if I didnt acknowledge I was late multiple times). I would have appreciated a tour and explanation on why I couldn't join, I wouldn't have been upset. Just very strange way to handle the situation for someone who has never been to their gym. Gabrielle Monaco reached out to me and was very kind. I don't rate my negative review based on my interactions with Meagan or Gabrielle, but really with how the situation was handled and how the other lady treated me. Unfortunately idt I can use the 1 months worth of the membership due to the environment and that first experience. I will also mention their child care is also not available everyday based on the app and scheduling I looked through. That was the main reason I was enticed to join, but only to realize they don't have childcare everyday or for every class they offer.

I originally joined SWEAT PGH because I wanted to start doing more yoga and it was the closest place I could find with early morning classes. I never thought I would be interested in any of their other concepts. 3 years later I’m still going to yoga but am really into all of the other classes they offer, too. The variety of options and class times are great! All of the instructors are so motivating - there hasn’t been one that I didn’t enjoy. They all bring their own style and energy to the studio and you can tell put a lot of thought into the workouts that they plan. Their classes are challenging but fun. I always leave SWEAT PGH feeling better than when I walked in!

Hannah and Liz. Two reasons I came back to SWEAT after moving 30 mins away. Hannah’s Stretch and Open class is unlike any other class I’ve ever taken. It’s a great class to take opposite all of the challenging classes at SWEAT to help relax and restore your muscles. If you’ve ever taken a yoga class, you know that atmosphere matters. Hannah’s calming voice, her well-timed playlist, the low lighting, and perfectly selected stretches and poses help me get out of my head and into my body. This class will make you feel all the feels. Liz is an equally amazing instructor. Fun, energetic and personable, she will quickly learn your name and make you feel like you have been at SWEAT forever. Her Yoga Sculpt class will kick your a**, but make you smile and laugh too. Another instructor, Anna, teaches my other favorite class, Dance…and pretty much every other class at SWEAT. I suspect she might be a superhero. The owner, Katie, is not only welcoming and an incredible instructor, but she seems to really understand how to run a business. Her studio design and concept, teacher training, and marketing are all well thought out. I suspect she is the type of person who never does anything halfway. Do yourself a favor and get your SWEAT on today.

SWEAT PGH is the best workout studio I’ve ever been to. I lived in Philadelphia and I did classpass for four years to get a variety of workouts. Moving home to Pittsburgh knowing there was a place I could have all my favorite classes in one spot has been a dream come true. Each class is unique and challenges you in a good way. Absolutely in love with this studio. All of the teachers are great, bringing such positive energy and messages to class every day. The classes are fun and challenging, but they provide you with modifications if the exercise is too much for you. Sweat also provides a real community atmosphere, which I have never seen anywhere else. I am hooked! Highly recommend!

As a new comer to SWEAT I was met with so much genuine kindness. The classes are not only challenging but also extremely fun and uplifting. The whole staff is very helpful and awesome! SWEAT is such a vital part of my life! My SWEAT journey began when they first opened and has become so important to both my physical and mental well-being. I feel stronger than I ever imagined! The instructors are the best- women who encourage, motivate, inspire and uplift. The classes are so much more than a workout. The studio is gorgeous, clean and state-of-the-art (hello, triple barre!). The awesome community of people and the accountability factor make working out something to look forward to. Katie, the amazing owner, adapted beautifully to the weird changes in the world recently and has made working out at home possible with excellent virtual classes. I am SO thankful for this amazing place and don't know where I'd be without it!

I cannot say enough good things about SWEAT PGH! From the variety of classes offered, the times that fit any schedule, and most of all, the amazing instructors, SWEAT has it all!
I’ve always dreaded going to the gym, but I can now say I look forward to working out and taking the classes at SWEAT, both in person and virtually.
The instructors are so approachable and motivating and really push you farther than you think is possible. Everyone is kind and inclusive, and all are welcome, regardless of where you are on your “fitness journey”.
The studio has also recently re-opened to an even bigger and better space, offering even more classes than before. There is truly a class for everyone - barre, cycle, yoga, dance, or power - these ladies will kick your butt, but make you have fun doing it!

I took my first class at SWEAT through class pass. I had taken cycle classes before but always got bored and never saw any results. My friend convinced me to try out SWEAT PGH. She said their classes are not like any other workout studios in the south hills. Let me tell you...after taking my first cycle class with Paige I was OBSESSED. There are so many things I love about the SWEAT studio but the instructors and how great they are is my favorite. I've never worked out somewhere that it felt like a family and I looked forward to taking classes each day, SWEAT does that for me. Everyone there from the instructors to the members motives me to keep working to be the best version of myself. The instructors really go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and give you that 1:1 training. The power class is my new favorite addition to SWEAT, I highly recommend trying it out. If you are interested in fitness and feeling GOOD, do yourself a favor and check out SWEAT PGH. I have worked out for years in countless gyms and group format settings, and this is far and away my very favorite place. At SWEAT, you'll be surrounded by so many other happy customers - it's an amazing environment!
Some of the things that you can expect are, 1) a fantastic workout that fits where YOU are in your fitness journey, 2) inspiring instructors who help motivate you to the next level, 3) a variety of class types to chose and grow from (cycle in studio 2 and barre, yoga sculpt, and yoga flow in studio 1), and 4) to be welcomed into the supportive SWEAT community. You will likely also appreciate the extra amenities (fully stocked showers - you WILL sweat!, yoga mats, cycle shoes, towels...all of these are included with your class).

I’ve recently joined Sweat PGH and I love it. I started with a new member special which is a great deal. I like that the studio has barre, yoga, and spin because you can switch things up. The spin classes are more like soul cycle with movements rather than a cycle class. They will give you everything you need for the classes (shoes, mat, etc.) which is a nice touch.

I have grown so much emotionally and physically since joining SWEAT. Never once have i felt like i wasn't "fit" enough to be there because everyone accepts everyone for who they are. SWEAT is the ideal example of what we all wish life could be; free from judgement, fun, and supportive of every life decision no matter what. If I had not found SWEAT when i did, I am not sure if my confidence and will to stand tall would be as present as it is today. A couple friends and I went to several workout studios before trying out Sweat Pgh in April & never looked back. Hands down, the best we’ve gone to in the Pgh area. From day one, you feel welcomed and challenged beyond your limits in a crazy fun atmosphere. The classes are tough but soo much fun & inspirational. I HIGHLY recommend trying it out if you haven’t yet!!

this place... i have so many amazing things to say! i was never into group workouts or trying new things. i was encouraged by another member to attend an intro class just to see how i felt!... after the first cycle ride... i was immediately hooked. SWEAT makes each and every person feel like they're accomplishing something. even if you're having a bad day, and not really "feeling it" - you still walk out of the class like you've made a difference. the energy is 100% positive all the time, you can't walk into the studio and not feel happy. every instructor is unique, fun, and truly care about you. i tell every person i know who is looking for a new workout place to try out SWEAT, you'll be happy you did :-)

I have never experienced a fitness experience like I have at SWEAT PGH. The instructors are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and full of enthusiasm and so much passion for what they do, and it shows off in their classes. I had always done cycling at my local gym and never realized what I was missing out on. I was hooked after my very first class at SWEAT. They turn off all of the lights so it truly feels like you are there alone with your mind. No one is focusing on anyone else besides themselves and the energy in the room. You cycle to the best of the music which makes it very easy to follow along- but don't be fooled!- they will kick your Booty everytime! The title says it all because you surely will SWEAT!!!! I am so thankful I've a part of the sweat family and so lucky to have found it! I can't say enough good things about this place!
