Poor service. Hosted birthday party for our daughter.

Bad: The staff didn’t come to serve food. It’s fine if he doesn’t. But I think other places do a better job than them overall… set up, coordinate/ serve during the party.

When he finally came, he was soon texting on his phone. And then he just left the room without really doing anything. He didn’t even bring the cake for our room. I went to front desk and ask for it 10-15 min prior to end.

Worst: right at the time (party 11:30 - 1 pm), the front desk came and notify us “he has to start cleaning up”. Kids were enjoying the cake. Some asked for second slice. Minutes later, front desk told me again he needs to “clean up NOW”. It’s really rude.

Finally kids and family went with cake on a plate. It was a very frustrating party.

I would understand if there is another party waiting to use the room. But that’s not the case. It’s simply rude and unprofessional. I would never come back to host any party here. These are unacceptable.

Cool place for a birthday party, the kids had fun which is most imporyant....But the 3 staffers had absolutely no engagement, gave no instruction, had 0 enthusiasm. It was like torture for them. Atleast pretend your happy.

Very disappointed how my daughter was treated after being a member for over 3 years. My 8 year old was recently told that shes held back without notifying us once for the reason. Apparently she was told verbally that she was a distraction to others and can’t move on. She passed every evaluation and physically was fit. Not once were we told that there was an issue, no email, no phone, absolutely zero communication to let us know that she might get held back for talking to the other girls during class. Give me a break, talking to other girls in class!!! Isn’t that what little girls do!!! Even on the evaluations that we received from time to time there was nothing about an issue. When my wife asked to speak with management she got a call back from the owner. She tried to get an understanding of what happened. He’s approach was very unprofessional and arrogant. After my wife told him that my child was really hurt from the situation and would love to have her reevaluated he declined and then Questioned how we raise our kids!! He told my wife that my 8 year old doesn’t fit his gym!!!! How can someone step so low as a human being and say that an 8 year doesn’t fit his gym!! Take a social little girl and tell her she’s wrong for being friendly!! Didn’t have an issue with it for 3 years collecting our dues!!!! Disgusting!! Would never recommend this establishment, one star is one too many!!

Updated 10/06/2021: Dan and his staff do an excellent job of keeping everyone safe and making sure everyone has a great time. The family and I competed at this gym this past Sunday and had an amazing time. I love their coaches and staff who are super friendly and professional. I highly recommend you visit this gym for some ninja fun!

I took our small personal training gym to the Gravity Forge to get some training for the Goliathon summer 2020 – it was an awesome experience. We had people with very different levels of age and fitness but everyone was challenged and had a great time. Dan and Matt, the instructors, were extremely helpful and quite honestly amazing in their mastery of the Ninja equipment. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to train for obstacle course events.

My kids have trained here for a couple of years, and I can see them improving during the viewing sessions that they have for each class. There are tons of obstacles for them to train on there, and the instructors are fantastic working with the kids. I highly recommend taking a trial class to see how much fun the kids have while exercising and learning new skills.

The Gravity Forge is easily the best American Ninja Warrior training center in the Philadelphia area. The obstacles are well constructed and the facility is clean and modern. Dan, the owner, is friendly and personable, as are the rest of the staff. For the serious trainee or the novice beginner, the Gravity Forge is an excellent option for all people wishing to compete or train for American Ninja Warrior.
