Hi! I am Bonnie, owner of The Pilates Garden and Personal Training Studio! We are quite unique. We specialize in personal and private instruction only. We offer personal training, classical Pilates, and rehabilitation services are available by Dr. Kimberly Malandra, owner of Next Level Rehabilitation. Programs are customized for each person and their individual needs and goals. We are here to help you get out of pain (since it is not a lifestyle) feel better, move better and become the best version of yourself!

Bonnie saved my life, period. After coming off a back surgery & finishing PT I still Wasnβt physically ready for life at that point. Bonnie has not only helped my physically but is helping me build back that mental confidence in my body. 10/10 would recommend

Bonnie is exactly what all trainers should be - fun, energetic and knowledgeable. She makes sure you understand what you're doing and why you're doing it. What muscles you should be using and not using with each exercise. And she is totally flexible in what you want to do when you are working with her. She goes by how you are feeling on that particular day and not necessarily what should come next, or what she may have had planned.
I enjoy every workout session even when I am in a bad mood. I leave feeling much better in mind and body!!

A hidden gem π!! For someone who can talk a lot, I am having a hard time putting my thoughts eloquently. Iβll have to simply suggest you see for yourself. After 2 c-sections, my lower core was severely impaired. Bonnieβs expertise & passion for what she does makes strengthening not only insanely enjoyable but effective. The cues she gives you are immeasurable! You cannot get those results when you try to do it on your own. As a physical therapist, I have trusted her with friends/family as well as my patients. She is a rare find, and if you are serious about being your best selfβ> get on her schedule!

I have been with Bonnie for almost 2 years. I came in to become more active and healthier. I am now so much stronger, I amaze myself. This has been a life changing experience with Bonnie. My hip pain is what brought me to Bonnie over a year ago and ever since I started training with her I no longer have pain. She is knowledgeable, mindful and careful about making sure you do everything the way you're supposed to! I used to dread working out but she continues to keep me interested, healthy and strong. I have trained with Bonnie in cardio, strength, and pilates for 2 yrs now, and I never want to stop. Every session, I am inspired by her commitment to help people get well, resolve movement problems, and pushing folks like me to the next level of performance with validated techniques, patience, and encouragement. She customizes the workouts to be truly "at your level" and I am spoiled. She has earned my respect and strongest, without reservation, recommendation. You would be silly to not give her a call, if you are serious about getting better about whatever you want to accomplish.
Even better, I am excited to try her new massage therapist--the same one that treats the Eagles. Go Eagles!

My sister and I started taking personal training sessions with Bonnie in February of 2014. I honestly can't express how wonderful it has been to work with Bonnie! She has designed customized workout programs through the many stages of our lives, starting with getting toned and fit for my sister's wedding, staying healthy and active through my first pregnancy and now getting back into shape and losing weight after having my little girl. After every session, I feel rejuvenated whether we did cardio, strength training or Pilates. In particular regularly doing Pilates was instrumental in having a positing birth experience and also extremely helpful in getting back into shape! I can't thank Bonnie enough for that :) I would highly recommend working with Bonnie no matter what stage in your exercise journey you are in!

The Pilates Garden in Wayne is a great studio with a very thoughtful, caring, and personal trainer in Bonnie. She designed my workout to be unique to my abilities. We started with understanding my baseline during my initial free appointment. She was very helpful and really seemed to want to know what I was trying to get out of working out and getting into shape.
After this initial assessment future workouts focused on strengthening my core and ensuring I can develop balance and completing each method correctly working my way from lighter resistance and weight to more resistive and heavier each time we revisited the exercise in following sessions. Though I was challenged and pushing my body, Bonnie was there right with me to ensure I was doing the technique correctly. Each session is different and unique.
I am feeling great now compared to how I felt before seeing Bonnie. If you are looking for a personal trainer that understands the appropriate exercise for your current state then Bonne and The Pilates Garden & Personal Training Studio is for you. You know this is a great person as your first assessment is free to help understand your needs and your current state of fitness.
The Pilates Garden & Personal Training Studio has been and continues to be a great personal studio and provides a great alternative to the big gym studios that may not have that personal touch. Give this studio a try, you will not be disappointed.

Bonnie is an excellent personal trainer. She is very intuitive to her clients' fitness needs and goes out of her way to make them feel comfortable.
Bonnie is also a very good Pilates trainer, so if you're into Pilates then I definitely recommend signing up with her!!

My thoughts and my opinion, as the Mother of a woman, whose name is Bonnie she is a personal trainer and Pilates instructor and who has her own studio in Wayne Pa. She has changed my life.. First, when she was born, she arrived 6 yrs later for her big sister but not too late to be a friend. I have been training with Bonnie for 14 yrs and I think it qualifies me as a woman who can write and give a review about a person and place she loves!!!!
I started training with Bonnie, when she would come home for a visit she would have me running around, shopping, cooking and cleaning but that wasn't enough for her, she soon had me boxing in her basement and taking me to trails around my community and then her community.
Soon the trails & parks included Mainline school night. Bonnie was teaching a Pilates class and signed me up for 2 nights a week. She took positions at many gyms and trained at some of the places in the area. After she became certified in so many fitness specialties, she opened the Garden. I train with her twice a week and I have a partner. We have been regulars for the past 3 yrs and we live better and love better because Bonnie has made us healthier and happier!... You don't have to take a mothers opinion - check her out for yourself, go to her website and read about the studio and Bonnie's story and what she has to offer you. I hope more people plant the seed of fitness! I love her and I know you will too!

I have been going to the Pilates Garden for personal training and pilates for about two years now and absolutely LOVE it. Bonnie is definately a one-of-a-kind trainer. What impresses me most is how incredibly knowledgable she is in all areas of physical fitness. She really "knows her stuff" and I always feel safe when I'm training with her. She puts together different exercise programs that I do when I go every week. She changes it every 4-5 times, which is really great because it gives your muslces a true work out. She is also very open to client feedback, so if you don't like something (a particular exercise for example), she'll modify it and find a different way to work the same muscles. I LOVE using all the equipement- TRX, kettlebless, cables...it really is a lof of fun.
Bonnie truly loves what she does and it shows. She's ALWAYS enthusiastic about what we are working on during my sessions with her and it really makes a difference- much more fun.
I have definately seen a difference in my body physically since training with her. I feel like I have gotten stronger everywhere, but especially in my core. My balance has also gotten better, which was an issure for me.
If you are looking to really make a change and commitment to your physical fitness or even just try pilates and gain a little more core strength, I would undoubtedly reccommend trying the Pilates Garden. It's worth it. :)
