I cannot express how grateful I am to have stumbled upon Thrive during my summer in central PA. Ashley, Jamie, and the rest of the Thrive community are truly some of the most welcoming, supportive humans out there. Thrive offers a motivating, judgment-free environment where the workouts are quick, effective, offer variety, and are easily modified to fit your needs. Beyond the workouts, they provide incredible resources to help you stay accountable with diet and nutrition. The coaches truly care about helping you achieve your goals. Thrive is more than just a gym. It's a community! There is a variety of class types and times throughout the week with incredible instructors. Normal gyms can be overwhelming and uncomfortable at times but Thrive is neither of those things. Every class is a celebration of progress and Ash is an incredible coach. She can give you that extra push when you might doubt yourself or a fish bump telling you that even just showing up is a step in the right direction. I’ve gone to 2 hot mat pilates classes (so far) and loved it! The studio is super cute and room gets hotter as you workout. Both instructors I’ve had were amazing. The classes are hard but make you feel so good after. Recommending this place to all my friends!!!

I started personal training at Thrive with Coach Ash when I was three months pregnant. I continued training with her two days per week throughout my entire pregnancy until my delivery. Throughout my pregnancy, she modified my workouts to fit my needs, and she made it a point to consistently check in with how I was feeling and to see if we needed to make any adjustments. Training with her during pregnancy helped me feel stronger and more confident both physically and mentally.

Once I was about eight weeks postpartum, I began training again twice per week and still continue to do so at eight months! Coach Ash is encouraging, motivating, and always ready to meet you where you are when it comes to your fitness and nutrition goals. If you are looking for personal training—look no further. Thrive is IT!

Just finished my 300th class at Thrive! I couldn’t have been consistent for this long without the amazing coaches who are always there to encourage me and push me when I need it.

I participate in both whole group and small group classes and would recommend either to anyone looking to meet their health and fitness goals.

5 stars is actually an understatement and full disclosure, I am a tough grader - this place gets a 10, on every level. Listening and learning the individual needs/goals of the client and meeting those needs. Sessions are ever changing, which keeps the workouts fresh and ignites the motivation each and every time yet at the very same time, there is a thread of familiarity that leaves the client feeling empowered and recognizing their progress. Tailoring workouts has been KEY for me as my body behaves inconsistently yet at a moment's notice, Ash has come up with a workout that works to my benefit! I initially started with Thrive way back in 2020, doing zoom workouts in my basement in the thick of c*vid times. In 2023 I just happened to come across their small group personal training classes and was surprised to see that they had a time that would work for my schedule. I was in desperate need of something to do just for me, and this was it. Ash takes the decision-making out of working out and is so supportive no matter what your goals are. She knows how to push you just enough and is always willing to give advice and make suggestions both inside and outside of the gym. I definitely recommend giving Thrive a shot- it’s unlike any gym I’ve ever been a part of!

How many characters do I get to write this? I have a lot to say! Thrive is by far the most incredible gym I have ever been to. A year after I had my daughter I was feeling low, lazy, and so ready to try something new. I knew I was not successful attending normal gyms, left to my own devices, having absolutely no idea what to do. I shared my concerns, fears, and goals with Ashley and Thrive has exceeded all my expectations. Ashley is a special person and one of the most kind and dedicated people I have ever met. Originally, I was searching for a personal trainer, like one I had before at a chain gym, but what I found with Thrive Fit Co. was SO MUCH more! Not only do I get that tailored, personal instruction that a trainer provides, but I also get guidance and accountability outside of the gym through personalized meal plans and access to workouts that can be done anywhere. I love the holistic approach this team provides. Also, because the sessions are capped at 5 people, I get that one-on-one attention while also meeting others like myself in various stages of their own fitness journey. The (optional) monthly group challenges are a fun bonus! I have never once felt intimidated or out-of-place, which has happened to me in other places. Also, I was able to try it out a couple times before signing up, which definitely helped. If you’re on the fence, there’s nothing to lose by showing up and giving it a try! You just might end up finding exactly what you were looking for and so much more!

As soon as I walked in, I loved the vibe in there and started asking Coach Ash some questions about the gym and their programs. I attended a arms/abs class about a month ago. I’ve never attended a class like this and was not sure what to expect-
First… the door IS 100% welcoming to the lgbtq community which immediately helped make me feel safe! Second…everyone was soo nice! I may not be a “regular” or familiar what the exercises were…but I followed along well up until the last 6 min. No fault to the instructor Justine…who was amazing! I just tend to not retain more than 2 step instructions at a time!
I enjoyed the lighting as well…was not the big bright white lights! It was cooler and didn’t strain your eyes. She played some old school music which I loved! The atmosphere was very clean and everyone was helpful to one another
I DO plan to look into what type of packages they have to offer…as a membership and my crazy work schedule aren’t ideal
I would recommend this place to others esp if you aren’t a fan of big gyms

Let me start by saying that I have avoided the gym like the plague for years. I wasn’t confident enough in my workouts and the thought of going to group fitness classes and working out in front of others intimidated me. But wanting to feel healthier, I decided I would give Thrive a try.

About 4 years ago, I was looking for a workout that helped me feel strong, cleared my head, and exhausted me. I found it in the boxing class at Thrive. All the coaches bring their own unique approach to give us a great workout. Coach Meg switches to the non-dominant side, adds kicks and sometimes mitt work. Coach Justine plans lots of punch combos, tabata, and ladder rounds matched with carefully crafted themed playlists. Coach Ash brings a ton of variety to her classes, includes some rep challenge nights, and somehow always gets 100% effort from the class no matter how tired we are. They all make you want to keep showing up for class (and yourself) week after week.

I’ve tried many things in the past few years in hopes of losing weight, but nothing compares to Thrive! I did the 12-week challenge, focusing more-so on nutrition. With Ashley’s help, I was able to not only lose 20+ pounds, but form a healthier relationship with both food and myself. I could always count on Ash’s positive affirmations and constant motivation, and never did I feel restricted which is something that was very important to me. Coach Ash & the other trainers at Thrive created a community that makes you want to show up and try your best, even through the screen. Ashley has taken the time to chat with me about my goals, and even gotten to know my son who shows up to "work out" with me on zoom. There really are no excuses to not get in that hour a day workout. The digital classes provide several opportunities to exercise and connect with the Thrive community each day. Thrive is such an amazing community and their pivot to virtual workouts during the pandemic was seamless and amazing. I am out of state but learned of thrive through my sister who lives nearby and now their virtual workouts are all I do!! If gyms reopen near me I am cancelling my membership because Thrive virtual is all I need to stay in shape! Thrive offers the best at home workouts I have experienced. Loving the online experience that Thrive has been able to give us during this time. I would highly recommend them!

They offer awesome online classes, throughout the week, multiple times a day and weekends as well.

I find their workouts to be challenging but they also allow me to go at my own pace since some moves are more advanced. (they offer modifications too) I'm finding that with each class I'm able to do a little more every time.

That shows me I'm building back my strength. I may not be seeing the changes I want but they're sure to follow as long as I stay consistent❤️

I know a lot of you really do miss the gym but this is a great alternative. The gym comes to you via zoom which is amazing! It doesn't matter where you live you can always be a part of these workouts.

So if you're interested I'd highly recommend they're $30 a month online classes!

Either way I just really wanted to give them a shout out for all that they are doing right now. I find that I can become sad easily because my normal routine has been changed. These classes add a sense of normalcy for me.

I get excited for every single workout at Thrive! Some of the workouts are focused on an area of the body, but it's always a full-body workout and I'm drenched in sweat afterwards. Boxing at Thrive is my absolute favorite: It's a great stress reliever (punching the sh*t out of a bag!) and a great workout at the same time! I feel so much stronger since joining over a year ago. Before Thrive, I was not a huge fan of small group fitness training. But I love this place! Usually go to their bootcamp classes but have also done the boxing class, which is SO fun and an excellent workout! Instructors are top notch and the people who go here are hardworking and extremely positive. Highly recommend. Not just for women -- hubby loves it too! We've both seen great results and are very happy with the fitness routine.

The classes really kick your butt! This is the first time in my life that I have really started to sculpt and tone my arms despite being an avid fitness freak for years.

Every time I go I know I am going to get a great work-out but I also know that I am going to have instructors and other members cheering me on.
