Iβve been going to Unity for a little over a year now and I would recommend this studio to anyone! There is such a diverse offering of classes, perfect for some people who may enjoy more of a slow flow/yin and others who want more heated classes. With the new website, kind and inclusive staff, and a community of yogis who I always see, unity is the place to go in the area!! Try a $5 class to give it a try :)

Unity Yoga has been my βhomeβ studio since everything opened back up in 2021. My favorite thing about the studio is the diversity of classes that are offered. Based on my mood, I may want a chill class or a workout, and I can usually find one between the 2 locations that fit whatever Iβm craving. Iβve also been on the River Mountain retreat and highly recommend! It was super relaxing and had just the right number of activities scheduled to balance vegging out and moving around.

Excellent class and instructor. Itβs a small studio which is great for an intimate practice. Anne the instructor is amazing. She offers lots of options and great detailed instruction and reminders of how to do the poses correctly. I highly recommend this class, Unity yoga studio in chestnut hill and especially the instructor Anne Crosson

I'm new to Yoga and the Foundations class is a great place to start. My teacher was very clear with her instructions and the vibe was very nice for a newbie like me.

Wonderful addition to Chestnut Hill! I've taken the Slow Flow, $5 Community and the Free class and they were all excellent. Slow Flow is perfect for recovering athletes- you get a great workout at a pace that enables you to fully work into each pose. So far I've taken it with three different instructors and they each taught a completely different sequence, which is really nice to be able to get the variety. I especially recommend Nicole. I've been doing yoga for 30 years and hers is one of the best twisting sequences I've ever taken. I would also recommend her for a complete beginner because she is great at verbally describing each pose, so you don't have to break position to look up and see what to do, you can just listen to her instructions. I also love the way Anne teaches.

This was my first time at Unity (having done outdoor events prior to this). The Chestnut Hill location is welcoming and cozy. Danny is a fantastic instructor - kind, generous with information, and very skilled. I look forward to coming again!

Cozy studio space with many different offerings!
I found this studio a year ago while doing a full moon yoga nidra with owner Arielle and since then became attached.
The studio has a large variety of classes and teachers depending on my mood for the da. The teachers have been easy to connect to and are all very attentive and accommodating.
There are also a plethora of fun workshops each month to attend at both locations

This studio is convenient for me, but more than that, the teachers are thoughtful and welcoming, and I always feel better leaving a class than I did when I got there.

I purchased a 40 days for $40 new student deal at this studio and it has been wonderful to try out all the different classes! Both of the spaces in Chestnut Hill and Manayunk have a relaxed and intentional vibe and there are also free classes at the recovery center. I've been practicing yoga for awhile, but each class I've taken has offered new poses, sequences, and/or props that I haven't done before. The classes are very personalized as the teachers address you by name and ask if you have any particular need for the class. There have also been fun summer offerings such as yoga Bingo, Mae's Miley Cyrus yoga as part of the Friday concert series, and workshops if you want to dive deeper into yoga philosophy. Be sure to arrive early! The doors lock at the start of class to avoid disruptions. Great studio with an important mission!

I just finished a 75-minute Flow and Restore yoga class with Brittany and although I rarely leave reviews, this class warrants one β¦ a 5 βοΈ one! The studio is quaint and well-equipped and the instructor is professional, knowledgeable, and all inclusive. I will definitely be back; not only to take the same style class, but also to try some of their other classes Unity Yoga has to offer!

I have been going weekly to the $5 community class for about a year and it's a highlight of my week. The teacher is so welcoming and warm and makes sure everyone feels comfortable in the space and offers good modifications for each pose. The space is comfortable and safe. I highly recommend checking out Unity!

Love taking classes here! I usually drive up from East Falls to take their heated classes. Theyβre not too hot, but just hot enough to feel like your getting a work out. Love Katβs classes at this location, but all of their teachers are so nice and inclusive!

I went to this yoga studio for a year and originally gave them a 5 star review but I recently realized that the 10 Class Packages I had been purchasing expired after 60 days so I had paid for some classes I never got to take. Their website and third party service used to process payment are not user friendly and it was not clear that these class packs expired and it just prompts you to buy more when they do. I reached out to the owner about this and she was dismissive at first and eventually just stopped responding. Terrible customer service and Iβm extremely disappointed. The teachers Iβve had were great but beware of their bad website and the fine print because they have strict expiration and no refund policies with no remorse for customers who were deceived.

I really wanted to support this local yoga studio. When I found out they opened a new location nearby me, I quickly bought a 5 class pass even though not many classes fit with my schedule. I figured it would be a great way for me to carve out some time for self care and support a local business. I made it to 3 classes and when I went to register for my 4th, I was required to pay for the class. I then reached out to the owner who informed me the 5 class pass expired after 30 days. I wrote back and admitted the 30-day expiration was an oversight on my part, however, would really appreciate a credit for my 2 missed classes. As a single, working mom, both $40 as well as alone time to get to 2 yoga classes are very important to me. Especially when the studio has limited hours and classes. I never received a response. I understand not being refunded for a late cancellation of sorts, however, these are classes I paid for in advance where no one in the studio is losing out. I would also understand if this was a limited time offer / deep discount, however, it was simply $20 a class rather than $22. Overall, I am disappointed by the whole thing.

I really wouldnβt go back. I love hot yoga and the fire yoga class was more like a warm yoga class. I never broke a sweat and therefore I wouldnβt call this a yoga class for ppl who want to workout vs relax.

Such a beautiful and charming studio. All of the classes Iβve been to there have been really good - Challenging, but made accessible through the cues and adjustments offered by the teachers.
