Literally got kicked off a weight lifting machine today by an older woman who just kept meanly glaring at me like it was illegal to use the machines. Instead of telling me there was a class for older adults that use the machines (which isn't posted anywhere upfront, I guess it's posted in the furthest corner in the back of the gym) she went and had the front desk person force me to leave the machine and not even allow me to finish my last 10 reps. She was so angry that I was back there she didn't even use the machine she originally chose, she walked away from it forcefully walking past my face where I was on a different machine even before class started. George was nice enough to get me the schedule upon exiting the gym after this nonsense. Felt like less of a member today than someone else even though I am paying every month for a membership to be kicked off a machine and have someone act like it's not acceptable to even be in "her area" even before class started. If there was somewhere else to go that had the same hours as this gym I most definitely would. Some of the machines do not have doubles so if you're going to have members running the gym or the equivalent of elementary school telling the teacher that someone can't use the equipment...instead of just asking me to finish up because they would like to use the machine.... It's time for some doubles of every piece of equipment. In addition, some signs that state you absolutely cannot be in this area during class or sectioning it off. Just because older women hang out there or have cliques there does not mean there shouldn't be some discretion to other members about what is going on.

This place is a hidden gem and much bigger on the inside then I expected. The equipment is in really good shape to and they have some of the hardy old school equipment that I like best along with some brand new equipment that I didn't realize existed. Its clean the staff is great and all around great vibes.

The areobics classes with Holly were good at first, until I realized that is not her goal. She shares way too much personal info and cuts her classes short to do so. I am there to work out! I am not there to hear her life story.

I take my clients there and the older lady with the white hair who works there is extremely rude to myself and my clients. She is constantly giving the clients dirty looks and speaking down to them like they aren’t human beings with feelings too. Our company pays the same prices as anyone else and we expect to be treated in the same way. The weekend staff member is extremely kind and helpful though so thank you to her! To the week day lady, you are rude and I hope you find some kindness in your heart someday!

I have been to the Vernon place medical building many times and masks are required however every person I have seen walk into the YMCA did so without a mask when it is signed that masks are required. So sad that a medical facility even if leased by YMCA allows this to happen at a medical facility

Was happy with the facility but not at all impressed with the staff at the desk. Lack of experience in my opinion caused my signup papers to get "lost" 2 times causeing me to have to make the trip there to get the process going again and then later when canceling my membership things were not explained to me properly which led to an overdraft on my bank account which i was stuck with. Great facility, not a great staff....
