To us, fitness and coaching are much more than just exercising. VIDA Performance embraces a holistic approach to wellness with the goal of creating an overall healthier state of living. Our unique approach benefits people of all ages and all physical abilities, because we recognize that fitness training needs to be customized. We believe that even small changes in our overall fitness can have a significant impact on our health and well-being. VIDA Performance wants to help you ignite the inner strength and confidence that come with being more physically fit.

Since March 2023, I’ve been working out and taking TRX classes with Michelle and have truly enjoyed the experience. Not only has this given me an overall healthy lifestyle, my body is in the best shape it’s ever been at 50 years old. I’ve always been a self-starter, but sticking with something long-term is not one of my strong points because I get bored easily. Michelle, Matt and Danielle have structured the workouts so that no two sessions have been the same the entire time, and that has kept my interest level high! Even in a group setting you are given individualized attention to make sure you understand how to properly perform each exercise and its purpose. Is it hard? Of course. Is it worth doing? That’s a trick question.
My body feels strong, I have less back pain, I sleep better and I have more energy throughout my entire day. I haven’t had so much as a sniffle since I began. Don’t even get me started on the 21 day challenge! It is mind blowing when incorporating the healthy eating habits that Vida has designed. Nothing changes if nothing changes. Why are you still reading this and not in TRX class?

The owners Matt and Michelle run a fantastic operation. They give 100 percent to provide the best experience and maximum results for their clients. At at Vida I get strength, balance, and low impact. As I get older I need to be able to get fit and avoid common gym injuries. It's just what I need. These folks are great!

Whether you want to improve sports performance or simply improve the quality of your life there is no substitute for customized personalized training. I have worked with Matt and Vida Performance for many years and highly recommend them to help achieve your goals. Matt is an exceptional listener who is keenly aware of his clients’ abilities and does a baseline assessment to identify imbalances that you may not even know that you have. Working with Matt has improved my strength, balance, mobility, and sports performance. As an avid cyclist and endurance runner I noticed immediate improvements in my power, speed, flexibility and have suffered from far fewer injuries than in the past.

The best way to gain more power on the bike, is to combine it with targeted weight training off the bike. Matt Vahey and Vida performance have first hand knowledge about how to do this because Matt is a mutli-sport cyclist racer and knows what exercises to target for increased power, especially power “in the saddle” where you need it most. Using decades of fitness training experience Matt is able to develop world class programs for any level of rider using a combination of weights, TRX and body weight exercises. I would recommend Matt to anyone who wants to achieve their true potential no matter what your age.

Vida is a top notch performance institute offering fantastic instruction and customized hands-on guidance. As a physical therapist, I only choose to work with providers who have a great understanding of movement and coaching and Vida does both exceptionally well.
