This West Chester studio personalizes plans for each client, integrating yoga poses, breathing exercises, meditation, and more to address mind, body, and spirit. Paddleboard yoga classes and retreats, both local and international, are also offered.

I took intro to Ayurveda Workshop with Melinda. I know Melinda from some social gatherings of yoga teachers. I also followed her journey as she's been studying to become a yoga therapist. I can tell she's been a life-long learner, like me. Most of my teachers and gurus are.
I'm not new to Ayurveda. I had my first Ayurvedic consulation 2 years ago. I've been incorporating and experimenting with the suggestions that I received as well as learning on my own from books.
Still, I enjoyed the workshop a lot. Melinda made me feel welcome by accommodating my special needs request. I'm very sensitive to the energy around me, including the energy of the place I'm in. The room and the whole studio felt really calm and welcoming. I enjoyed getting to know and sharing our life journeys with other people in the workshop.
I got a nice review and learned a few new things about Ayurveda. I hope to take more workshops with Melinda

I participated in Melinda's paddle board yoga at Marsh Creek State Park and it was the best experience! She made sure that everyone was comfortable and guided us through each step of her practice. We ended the night with a gorgeous sunset and I left feeling relaxed and more confident for next time!

I had the absolute best time doing stand-up paddleboard yoga with Malinda! She was energetic, lively, and made the whole experience feel joyful and welcoming. Her compassion and attentiveness created such a supportive environment, whether you were a beginner or more experienced. I loved how she offered a variety of poses and challenges to meet everyone’s comfort level. Malinda's enthusiasm is contagious—I'd join her class again in a heartbeat!

What a gift Melinda has to make all feel welcome regardless of your yoga and/or paddle board experience. I have known Melinda for almost 6 years and have taken SUP yoga during the early morning hours and during sunset and it’s always my favorite activity of the year! Melinda is the best instructor and tailors all her classes to meet the needs of her clients. I’ve been on the water with my 14 year old and her friends and Melinda just has a knack for making it fun for the kids but also calming any fears or anxieties when it’s someone’s first time. This has become a yearly tradition and I don’t plan to stop any time soon!!

Had my second season of SUP yoga this morning and both were great experiences! 1st time was with my teenage daughter and Melinda was fantastic with her. She made us both feel very comfortable. She even attached her board to my daughter's when she was struggling to paddle and stay straight.
This time around I was more confident, but ended up in the water! It was refreshing in the middle of a good workout!
Melinda does a fantastic job of working with all skill levels both in SUP and yoga.
I can't wait to get back to the water with her!

So, I signed up for and tried Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga with Melinda this morning. It was a great experience and a good workout too!! Melinda did a great job, making sure everyone was comfortable on their boards before leading us through a nice sequence of poses. It was a little more challenging than practicing on a mat naturally, calling for your core strength and balance to be at their best. I loved it and will definitely be back for another session. I highly recommend SUP for anyone that loves yoga and the outdoors and is looking to try something fun and different!!
Melinda is an exceptional yoga instructor and is also a true student of all things related to mind and body. She is constantly studying to expand her knowledge, which translates to providing the best possible experience for her students. She is also a wonderful person with an incredibly passionate and positive spirit. I am grateful to Melinda for being a big part of my yoga journey and for sharing her talents to make me a better version of myself.

Melinda is one of the best instructors I have ever worked with. She helped me build my confidence in getting on the paddle board and then slowly introduced Yoga. If you’re considering trying SUP Yoga and getting on a paddle board but are unsure if you will be able to keep your balance you have to sign up for a session with Melinda. You will not regret it.
Is it worth your time and money?
You cannot put a price tag on practicing yoga in the open air, surrounded by nature. If you need to recharge your mental battery pick a session at Whole body wellness and Yoga and just show up, Melinda will take care of the rest.

If you’re on the fence about trying a class, just go for it! I was a little nervous going into it as a beginner, but Melinda was the best instructor. She even paused with me to practice mindfulness and breathing when I started overthinking everything in the middle of the session. She takes the best pics too!

I have been taking instruction from Melinda at Whole Body Wellness and Yoga for the past year - both on and off the water! She has a beautiful way of creating a peaceful and loving environment where your feel welcome no matter your skill or ability, and you are able to go at your own pace. Melinda not only assists with getting you into the right poses, but she shares the value of the pose, which helps you to connect more deeply to your true self and light.
Melinda also has a wealth of knowledge regarding Ayurvedic eating and Thai massage techniques. After talking with her for just an hour, I learned how to gravely improve my self-care when it comes to eating for my medical conditions and managing my stress.

Meeting Melinda at her Paddle/Yoga retreat in July I was interested to learn she was also an Ayurvedic Practioner and immediately booked a Ayurvedic consultation.
At a young 55 yrs old I have gone through menopause and have had 3 surgeries this year. My body has been through a lot of changes and was feeling stuck.
Over the past 3 months Melinda has been coaching and teaching me Ayurvedic Tradition and how food can heal the body.
Our sessions are full information but not overwhelming as she takes you one step at a time and finds the balance that works for you.
The changes I have made in just a few months have had such a positive impact both mentally and physically and know Ayurveda will be a constant part of my lifestyle.

Melinda met us at Lums Pond for a small group paddle board yoga session and we had a BLAST! She brought everything we needed for an amazing evening on the pond. She lead us through a relaxing yoga session and assisted us with basic paddle board skills. I absolutely cannot wait to go again!

Melinda was wonderful with our group this evening on Lums Pond. She was well prepared with directions, quality equipment, clear simple instructions to get on the water. She quickly got us in the zone to appreciate the beautiful surroundings and challenge ourselves to do familiar yoga poses on the paddleboard... it's not the same as land yoga... but still very fun! I attended the Stand Up Paddle Board Yoga Retreat with Melinda at the Himalayan Institute in July 2023, and it was incredible! She's an excellent teacher and has a wealth of knowledge about yoga, water sports, and healing medicine. It was such a refreshing experience! Highly recommend!!

I absolutely loved my first “Yoga on the board” class! Melinda is such a fun person. She guided us through so many yoga poses and no one fell in the lake :-D.
I loved that all the boards were provided and ready to go. She even has swim vests for everyone. She also provided great guidance for my friend who was not an experienced paddle boarder.

Had an amazing SUP experience with my son for his birthday. Getting out on the water was a blast and Melinda’s meticulous instructions made it easy to learn and an overall super fun and amazing first time paddle boarding and doing yoga on them (he lounged while we did the yoga part 😂).
