I joined this bootcamp 5 months ago after 22 years of mostly sedentary life. It is the most fun and challenging group exercise in southern RI! Ryan provides what often feels like one on one training in this setting by maintaining full presence during sessions. I am 68 and I am doing this. Please do not hesitate to try it, it’s the best thing in South County!!

It’s been probably 10 years since Ryan ran our fitness program at our local fire stations. I’m happy to say, that even though I’m 10 years older, I feel like I can pick up where I left off. I needed a fitness boost to what I was already doing to see if I could challenge my self and up my potential. South County Boot Camp is the perfect combination of strength training and cardio. They also offer meal and snack suggestions, and willingly reach out for one on one encouragement. The camaraderie amongst the regulars there is strong, yet they welcome the new recruits. Summer is coming, and my activities will be shifting to more biking and kayaking, but I know that if I need another wellness/fitness/nutritional boost, I’ll be back. The schedule can be adapted to your own needs, along with different durations. ( Some have been going for years ). Way to go Ryan and Danielle ! You make work fun !

It all started with my need for routine, stability and structure. AND a new chapter. You? Do you want to live your ONE best life? I think most people would answer “YES!” … So, START HERE with South County Boot Camp for Women! The choices that we each make in times of uncertainty & crisis matter.
Last winter, at age 66, I, my dog & my family escaped an electrical fire. We lost our home of 35 years and all of our possessions. After the initial shock & chaos, I asked myself “what is one thing that I can do for myself, and my health & well-being to feel strong and empowered as I figure out next steps?” The answer, the routine …. was to join SC Boot Camp. It has been so helpful on so many levels.

If you can walk, you can do this! All other mobility limitations can be accommodated - I've seen it & done it! Coach Ryan and the other campers are super encouraging and you'll want to push yourself in a _healthy_ way. I am so glad that I committed to SC Women's boot camp. Ryan is a joy; knowledgeable, fun, funny, helpful, positive, encouraging, never shaming. Everyone is able to progress at their own pace. No two days are the same. I love the fun and games he brings to each workout; as we age, we do lose our opportunities to play! Before you know it the hour is over and you have a great workout behind you. It is energizing for the rest of the day and you know you have done something really good for yourself. The women are very supportive of each other as well. It's all good, give it a try.

Ryan makes working out ALMOST fun. He definitely makes us all laugh, distracting us from whatever workout we are doing at the moment. He often encorporates games into the workout. And the music always gets us moving!

I completed one session and decided to sign up for a year! Ryan is a great instructor - always encouraging, providing guidance throughout the class, is always upbeat with a great sense of humor.
I had been going to Luxe, but need a group to motivate me and hold me accountable. I've found it! The women are great, the workouts are challenging, and every day is something different which makes it a lot of fun.
I love that I'm feeling better physically, am sleeping better, and have a great morning routine going. Now I actually miss it if I don't go!

I joined South County Boot Camp for Women in early June after hearing so many good things about it from my sister. I was prepared to go for the 2 week jump start program and probably not like it very much since I’ve only attended one group exercise class in my life when I was in my early 20s (now 54), and it was a truly awful experience.
I couldn’t have been more wrong. This is a fabulous exercise and fitness program that has become an integral part of my daily life. I’ve always been active, and played sports when I was younger, but as I’ve gotten older walking, jogging, and biking really weren’t enough. Ryan and Danielle create fun and challenging workouts that focus on strength, cardio fitness and functional training which are so important to women of all ages. The women who attend are all incredibly supportive and fun, and Ryan’s energy and positivity make you want to challenge yourself further. I wish I could adequately describe just how much this program has made a positive impact on me and my fitness (and attitude). Highly recommend this to anyone who is in a rut and wants a challenge, along with laughs and a supportive environment.

When I first heard the word "Boot Camp" I was scared. A friend encouraged me to try this last year. Ryan and the Boot Camp ladies have motivated me to really enjoy the workouts! I look forward to Boot camp, it makes me accountable and the workouts are never the same. Ryan is supportive and creative with his workouts. Adjusting the workouts to meet everyone's needs is so important. At times I have driven 90 minutes to make the class. I can't emphasize how this group has changed my thinking when it comes to a workout!

SCBC, bar none, is the best all around exercise program I’ve ever been a part of.
Everyday is different. You never get bored.

I really needed to re-start a fitness program. I needed a schedule and accountability. A friend referred me to Ryan’s boot camp and it has exceeded my expectations! It is high quality fitness training - adapted to all fitness levels - and despite it being a group class, I feel like I get individual instruction and guidance. If you’re looking to feel great about yourself- JOIN!! I’m not gonna lie, the first 2 weeks were killer bc I hadn’t been doing much exercising at all prior, BUT at the same time, it Felt Soo Good! Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging from Day 1! It is so different everyday therefore isn’t boring or repetitive which keeps you from getting bored and giving up. It’s actually a lot of FUN! I couldn’t wait to hear the information to continue on as the first 4 week session was coming to a close. 5:30am was never in my wildest dreams to be awake never mind at boot camp, BUT it’s the best! Coach Ryan and all the women are amazing and fun to be with each morning 😊 Ryan and Danielle provide a lot of information and support even outside of class that is always available and helpful to read up on, listen in to their live feeds or even text if you need something. You will NEVER find a workout like this! It’s FUN, available Monday- Friday as well as a full library of workouts if you choose to do something at home on off days and Absolutely Fairly Priced. This program is so great. I have tried everything online and in person to help with better eating and exercise habits. I am a behaviorist by nature and occupation, but could not change my own behavior. I was an emotional eater that ran myself to the ground and was functioning on coffee and sugar. I had resigned my self to the fact that I have no self-control or self-discipline, as like I said, I had tried so many live and online options. This was not the case. This program is so personalized and they understand busy mom life. They help you while being practical and supportive, yet firm and direct. Losing substantial weight might take time given my autoimmune issues but I definitely feel better, more energized and I am am eating so much better. I find myself wanting to exercise and drink water. This was unheard of before and my friends can not believe it.

I was up 6 days a week @ 5 am to hit the gym and then COVID hit; gym was open one day and completely shut down the next. I subscribed to an online workout regime but it just was not the same. A close friend told be about SCBC so I "liked" the FB page and began receiving notifications. We moved to South Kingstown in May, I decided to give it a try and let me say I am so unbelievably glad it did! I am a 5:30 am participant, what a great group of ladies, the support and camaraderie was so welcoming, hilarity ensues at times but Coach Ryan takes it in stride and although we have fun, the focus on improving stability, stamina and fitness never waives. His knowledge in training us and coaching us to be our best is never in question. It is clearly evident that Ryan and Danielle are committed to help us achieve our goals and be our very best and I am so thankful that I decided to join this group. I encourage any woman considering making a life-altering change in their overall health and well being to definitely give SCBC a try, you will be so happy you did!

3 months ago I made a change with the help of a best friend. We signed up for the 4 week challenge and immediately got hooked! Ryan has a fun, motivating personality that gets you ready to do your best. Not one workout has been the same, which keeps it interesting and fun. Not to mention you work out so many different muscles some my body forgot I had. All the ladies in the group are there to cheer you on (go 5:30!!) It really is a great community of women that inspire each other, and have a great time doing so! If your ready to make a commitment to having a strong body, mind and soul I would highly recommend South County Boot Camp. Best fitness program EVER. The workouts are never the same and we are challenged every day to do our best. The trainer, Ryan, is a great coach and a wonderful human being. He and his wife, Danielle (who is also wonderful), work together to not only develop the workouts but to also create programs outside of camp that inspire everyone to be their best, mentally and physically. Every day is a different, fun, motivating, and hard workout. The women are very supportive, welcoming, and encouraging.
The coaches do a great job with supporting each person's goals and motivation. They check in "we missed you" if you don't show as planned. Ryan is truly a wizard at knowing each person's name from the start and making sure you have proper form and modifications if needed.
He incorporates games and there is a mix of cardio and strengthening. I feel stronger, more confident and happier....you leave morning boot camp feeling accomplished at the start of the day! Set aside time to stretch before and after as class time is jam.packed. there are a range of ages and abilities in the classes.
The coaches frequently share recipes and ideas....good for mental AND physical well being!
Ryan also wants to help you overcome barriers to better self care and to understand your personal limitations of you have them. So glad to have joined.

Best workout I’ve ever experienced…and I’ve tried them all!
Being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis in my late 30s was a pretty crushing blow. It took me a while to get back to a place where I could exercise regularly again. I’ve been attending classes regularly for 3 months now and I feel stronger than I have in years! Ryan helps me customize the workouts to my best capabilities and gives me stretches to practice at home to help reduce swelling post workout. I’ve stopped thinking of working out as a chore and now see it as a privilege. South County Boot Camp has been a key component in adopting that mindset!

I’m not really a gym person so it was only because so many of my acquaintances said they loved this boot camp that I gave it a whirl. I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I’d look forward to getting up and going to a 6:30 workout but … it’s true! It’s the perfect combination —workouts are fun & always changing, the other campers are people just like me (ahem, certain age, body certainly not perfect). We support one another and surprise ourselves with what we can do. We’re strong, powerful women! Joining South County Boot Camp and Coaching for Women is one of the best things that I have ever done for myself. This is the best full body exercise program that I have ever experienced by far! The classes are rigorous and challenging. Each class is different from the previous class so you never know what to expect which makes it fun and time goes by quickly. I feel so strong when I leave the class. Ryan is an excellent coach with a magnanimous personality. He is encouraging, hilarious, high energy and extremely knowledgeable. I’ve been a member of South County Boot Camp for 1 and 1/2 years now. This camp is absolutely awesome. The workout is different every day and you work all muscle groups. The ladies that attend are all encouraging which helps. Ryan is attentive, personable, upbeat, witty (which helps), inspiring, he can guide you through ailments and what really amazes me is he knows everyone’s name right from the first day! I can’t say enough good about this camp and I am so thankful that I found it 🙏. Side note: I don’t do the virtual camp which is available to all but I heard it’s amazing !

South County Boot Camp is more than an exercise class- it's a movement. I joined in April of 2022 and have to say that I never thought I could have this much fun working out at 5:30 AM. Ryan's music and humor is infectious. I rarely have a bad day after attending class. I also have never done the same workout more than once. The variety keeps me engaged. Imagine starting each day feeling like a million bucks. There is no program quite like it for which I am so grateful to Ryan and Danielle. I started Boot Camp back in 2010 when I was home from College during the summer. Life took me elsewhere, but cut to pandemic boredom and needing a change in my fitness routine and I found Boot Camp once again! Even though I live in Providence, they had a virtual option that made it so easy to take classes from the comfort of my home!! Love the variety, accountability, and modifications are encouraged to make things work for you! I worked through chronic back pain and was able to gain core and lower body strength thanks to consistency and Danielle and Ryan’s workouts! They allow for plenty of options and modifications!! I've always been active my whole life. Had a few sports injuries, then had a baby. Let's just say, life got in the way and I was not working out at all. Because I found the gyms to be boring. Through a mutual friend, I got the courage to sign up for Boot Camp back in the day when Ryan & Danielle first started Boot Camp. I am one of their first Boot Campers. After all these years I still find myself sore which is a good thing. their workouts are none like any other. Different every day of the week. Ryan & Danielle help you do your best individually. Now they have so much more to offer everyone with exercise, food and coaching.
They really are there for you whenever you need them. The women are awesome. The relationships that you build with everyone is extraordinary. There are so many friendships, community. I’ve been going to boot camp for three years now. I had never enjoyed exercising before and was so nervous to go to my first bootcamp because I was feeing pretty out of shape and had no knowledge about how to exercise. I’m so glad I pushed through my fears because I couldn’t possibly be happier that I joined, it has been a life changing experience. It is such a welcoming, positive, encouraging environment with a wonderful community atmosphere. Literally any level of fitness is welcome and fully participates. Coaches Ryan and Danielle are incredible people who challenge us in the most positive and encouraging way, and all the fellow bootcampers are incredibly supportive. I’ve built a lot of strength and also a lot of self confidence during my time in bootcamp. And I actually enjoy exercising now, who knew that could happen lol! Started this class in the spring and am in the last week of six weeks. Best thing I could have done! It is without a doubt the most motivating exercise class I’ve ever participated in. The accountability is strong for you to get there but not threatening. Each class is different and creative and use of different equipment and all outside which is great! You just come with mat, weights and water. The rest is supplied and always with fun music. You are there to challenge yourself not compare yourself to others. The coach watches all of us and you never feel like you are going to injure yourself because of the many adjustments he can offer to the great variety of exercises. And the women in the group are upbeat and incredibly supportive of each other. Highly recommend!

South County Boot Camp and Coaching for Women is amazing! I joined in Sept 2021 and I never looked back! They offer in-person and virtual workouts, very accommodating to busy lives. I work with Ryan, in person, and he is a wonderful coach. He is always in a positive mood and is always encouraging me to challenge myself, knowing I can handle more reps, more weights, etc. Communication with Ryan is also top-notch. He is always there to help with any issues that arise, or even if just a a “Great job today” is needed.
The women working side by side with me are incredible too. So supportive and so enthusiastic! They inspire me to do my best.
SCBC is definitely my best “Find” since moving to RI.

I do not need motivation for exercising, what I wanted, and what SCBootcamp is offering is variety, and a sense of community. From weights to running, skipping, punching, or jumping rope, Ryan and Danielle get you going every single day, enjoying every seconds of what you are doing. There is sweat, there is bantering, and a bunch of great ladies to share the hour with. I would add that for those who need a push, Ryan and Danielle will be more than present, and make you accountable with no place to hide.

i have attended boot camp for about 8 years now. I LOVE IT! Ryan is funny, engaging, motivating and super committed to everyone! He makes exercising fun at every session. Every day is different so there's no possibility of getting bored or losing interest. And the other women are supportive with just the right amount of competition to make it a work out and enjoyable at the same time. I can't imagine working out anywhere else!

Working out at South County Boot Camp is a unique experience that is both challenging and fun! Even though exercise has been a consistent part of my life for many years, I would never consistently work out with weights or do targeted exercises that specifically transform women's bodies until going to Boot Camp. Wonderful folks and a great exercise program are a top notch combination! Check it out...you'll be glad you did!

I joined this program in the Spring of 2021 and I can say I truly LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!! I try to maintain an active lifestyle when I can, but I was losing interest and was tired of the usual "stuff" - I didn't want to go to a gym and I was not motivated to exercise by myself. This program has been an absolute game changer for me!!! I feel motivated and excited to get to they workouts and always feel so great afterward. Ryan and Danielle always provide options for lower or higher intensity to accommodate many different fitness levels and make sure you are doing the exercises in a safe and effective manner. I always feel that they have my safety and well-being in mind. And with the numerous time slots available, plus on-line work outs if needed, there is a lot of flexibility for hectic schedules. Ryan and Danielle also provide other support such as wellness tips, weekly recipes and other fun challenges when you join the program. And to top it off, not only do you get a great exercise program run by two very knowledgeable and SUPER CREATIVE trainers/coaches, but you get a fabulous community of incredible women as well. I highly recommend this program!!!!

Best thing I did was joining South County Boot Camp. I was never a morning person and since I joined this camp. I am up and ready to start my day. I have more energy, more motivation to workout out from Ryan/Danielle and all my fellow booties.

South County Boot Camp has been a significant part of my life for the past 11 years. What started as a 4-week "jump start" to fitness has turned into over a decade of confidence, accomplishment, camaraderie, and fun. Coaches Ryan and Danielle care so much about the fitness journey of each person they coach, and the incredible women of SCBC have become my tribe of fellow booties. I am constantly impressed by the variety of the challenging and creative workouts. Ryan and Danielle provide great support, encouragement, and challenge during and after our workouts.
