This was my first real commitment to a gym. That being said, last year in November I was brought to the Edge Club in Cranston by a friend and thought I would give the venue and workout lifestyle a try.
The Positives: the atmosphere, environment, variety, and members
1) The place is immaculate, there are always employees cleaning the changing rooms and the amenities on the floor. Everything is in new condition and rarely were machines down for repair.
2) The culture of the members is great and I've never had any issues with anyone on the premise, though I usually keep to myself. I've never observed any rowdy scenes or disturbances unfolding in the gym. Members and employees are quick to chat and offer help.
3) There is a very wide range and quanitity of equipment, but often due to popularity there would be backups in certain equipment areas of the gym. They have a complimentary movie theater with cardio equipment and a solid selection of movies that I really enjoyed utilizing during my time there. They have spas, massage chairs, and class, but I never made much use of them as some things were additional charges.
The Negatives: misleading employee interactions, logistics of membership
1) My first red-flag was at the beginning when my friend originally brought me in and sat my at their membership sign up area. I was quickly pulled into a booth and sped through a sign up process where pretty limited information was given to me before being tossed out onto the floor. I let it slide as I had a friend waiting anyway and decided to get more information and a tour another day. The next day I explained what had happened and was apologized and given an introduction to the gym and an explanation of my my membership. It was there I was explained I had signed a contract for the year as opposed to a monthly basis. I wasn't originally prepared to do that, but was told there was an unwaiable cancellation fee. So I decided to commit to my health and membership.
2) I made good use of the gym's amenities and visited at least an hour a day, four days a week, for six months. Unexpectedly I had a change at work that meant I wouldn't be able to attend the gym for an undefined amount of time, but likely a few months. I made an appointment with an membership rep and explained my visiting history and the situation, asking to pause my membership until my return. They told me there was unfortunately no options but to cancel my membership and to pay the fee. I explained that I would not want to re-enroll at the end of my subscription, but given that the fee was more than a few months of the subscription and I was already more than halfway through my contract- I grudgingly decided to pay the membership in my absence and hoped to be able to be able to return quickly. Unfortunately things didn't work out that way and I paid out the remaining months.
3) My contract with Edge just ended on November 15th and yet I noticed a charge for 85$, so I went to Edge in Cranston on the 18th to investigate as well as to try again to request for a partial refund for the months I had requested in the past to pause. I was told the 85$ was the bundled charge for the next annual fee and the first month subscription of 32$ (which had risen 7$ a month in price). I re-explained my situation and that I had expressed before wanting to cancel at the end of my contract, but was told there was a cancellation request form that had to be submitted 30 days prior to last charge, which hadn't been done. So no refund for the 85$ and I was actually also stuck paying another 32$ for December as well because it was within 30 days. So in total 120$ for not having my renewal opt out honored and an additional 150$ for the months I was told I couldn't pause. Both situations because the employees hadn't given me the information when I needed it to make informed decisions, as well as being totally inflexible in the aftermath.
Not sure how many people have had similar experiences but it was pretty disappointing. If you have money to burn, it's a good environment to workout.

Gym was appealing at first because of the protein bar and movie theater but music blasting over the speakers at 5 AM, (one particular) rude staff with no empathy for its members or care for club closing due to power outages, packed machines, multiple sauna breakdowns, and incorrect macros advice was not worth it. Went back to Planet Fitness, got macros right again and enjoyed rebuilding my health and early morning workouts from there.

I've been a member at this location for 4 or 5 years now and I can't speak highly enough of the staff and atmosphere here. The classes are lively with great instructors. The trainers are wonderful as well.

This gym is an absolute nightmare when it comes to canceling a membership. Two months ago, I went to the front desk in person to cancel and was told I was “all set.” A month later, I noticed another charge and messaged my trainer asking why I was still on the schedule — again, I was told everything was taken care of.
Fast-forward two months, and I’m still being charged. When I called the gym, they claimed I needed to come in again to cancel and even pay two more months because of a “30-day cancellation policy.” How does that make any sense when I already canceled in person and was reassured twice that I was all set?
It’s ridiculous how easy it is to sign up, yet they make canceling feel like an obstacle course designed to trap people and keep charging them. The lack of honesty and communication is unacceptable. I genuinely feel scammed.
I trusted this place, but this experience destroyed any respect I had for the staff or the way this business runs. I won’t be returning — and I’d strongly warn others to read every line of fine print before signing anything here.

I was actually planning on joining this gym and my experience with the staff made me change that decision. The best way I can explain, is they are the car salesmen of gyms. Complete kooks. Pushy and their "free week pass" is a week of harassment and spam calls. Also, during your trial, don't forget to leave your ID at the front! This way, you can't simply get a workout in without being bothered.

The staff is always friendly and greets you when you enter and leave. The equipment is top-notch, though some machines break occasionally due to misuse. The gym offers great amenities—sauna, massage chairs, tanning, and club activities. It would be a 5-star experience if machine repairs didn’t take so long; for a big club with plenty of funds, they should fix issues faster.

Very crowded and overstimulating. When I’m overwhelmed by the crowd, there’s no area available that doesn’t have bright overhead lights and loud music and lots of people in it for me to calm down (without paying for the more expensive membership, which I’m not doing).
I liked the edge cinema, but it was too overstimulating to hear the movie, the music outside over the movie, and someone loudly talking on the phone next to me all at the same time.
I won’t be coming back but unfortunately am locked into a contract that the staff member did not ask us if we wanted to read before signing

Doesn't allow you to cancel your membership. They ropeYou went into a bs contract to tell you that they won't charge you more per month.But it's not worth it, because you can only cancel if you're enlisted into the military or medical leave, or if you move this shit is so stupid, they're not transparent.At all.

I have just begun my exercise journey. I came back to the Edge after leaving a long time ago during covid time. The front desk was very nice and welcoming especially Angel, Dave, Naomi. Todd, Jada, Micheala were helpful too. I joined their challenge to motivate me. I love the classes especially zumba and all of the instructors are really nice. It is a busy gym because people enjoy coming here and if I am not in class and a piece of equipment is being used then I can do something else.

FIRST: If you are a women run as a far away from this gym, the men are creepy there and the women’s only section is a privilege and I am saying this after one visit! Even my male partner noticed how creepy the men were being and kept asking me if I was okay. He was shocked as we have never experienced that at a gym before and we have been to many. Especially as an SA survivor, this environment was incredibly triggering. SECOND: Designed to take away as much money from you and lack transparency. I wish I could give a zero stars at this location. I paid for the most expensive option that allows you to bring in a guest. When creating the account, the staff member failed to tell me that if the account was made under my partner’s name that I would not have access to the women’s only section as a guest even after we primarily expressed interest in that section. After speaking to another staff, I was told I would have to cancel one membership and open another which would not allow my partner to go to the gym on his own. So then I was told I would have to pay a separate membership for that and was never told about that until after signing up. I canceled my membership immediately after hearing that as it is disrespectful and inconsiderate that the women’s only section is a privilege especially when I already felt so uncomfortable by the men who go to that gym on the first day of me going. The lack of transparency also made it seem that they have borderline unethical business practices. The CEO is a man and it seems most of the leadership in the overall business franchise are men so I am not surprised that they are taking advantage of women who are genuinely concerned about safety and comfort and used it as a money grab. This gym does care about women just money so be careful where you put your money! Good Luck!

I was treated in a very disrespectful way by the general manager today at the carnston location (Ms Naomi Zaza) and I would like to express my frustration to management
She doesn't have the right attitude as a general manager.
I walked in today at the edge Cranston location like I always do because I'm a paying member there , I've never had any issues with any of the staff there always had a good experience
So I walked in today to try and fix my schedule for the weekend with my coach and I saw one of the stuff that always helps me out when I have to fix my schedule ,so he was attending to a customer and I new I would have to wait for him to finish so he can assist me, the I noticed a young lady walking over to me and the said you need to go scan your ID with and very bad attitude, so I was shocked by her attitude I paused ⏸️ for a minute because I wasn't expecting that, so I said to her no I'm not signing in I'm just here to fix my schedule for the week and she replied very aggressively you still have to sign in, I didn't like her attitude so I asked her why the attitude , the replied aggressively I don't have an attitude so I said to her I don't feel comfortable with you looking after me and she said I have to deal with her, and I told her again, I need someone else to assist me and she replied that she is the general manager and she decided she well deal with me so I said to her your attitude is going to cause me to cancel my account which is $424 a month and as well I have 2 other friends coming to the gym as well I can have them cancel there's too, and she said that is OK we can cancel she can do it right now .
What is will said is I did not like her attitude I was disrespected by the general manager and with that kind of attitude I'm positive that the company will lose or maybe has already lost money because of her attitude.
I did not cancel today as yet because the coach i have there is doing a really good job with me I'm seeing progress and I already talked to more friends about joining and using the same coach i have but her attitude is giving me second thoughts
I'm requesting she be disciplined and she gives me an apology

I wish I could give a higher review. NO ONE SHOULD FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE GOING TO A GYM DUE TO STAFF. I have been a member since before they opened this location in cranston. I go there daily. The front staff is amazing. They greet me by name, they know my routine, they are the definition of great customer service. However, there is one girl who works at the front desk, brown hair, a blonde streak, brown eyes, ( i wish I knew her name) but she is horrible. She is rude, has a nasty attitude, and even her body language is mortifying. She gives me a hard time every time I come in when she's working. When I come in she just glares. I hear her talking to other employees and she's beyond rude to them. How can you work in customer service and act like that? I have never once seen this woman smile, laugh, anything. Im about to cancle my membership due to feeling uncomfortable going there when she is working. I highly recommend you put this girl threw some customer service training.

Nice gym but DO NOT sign up for their personal training services. It’s a scam!! I’m new to strength training so wanted personal training so I could learn skills, however, their personal trainers constantly gave me the run around with booking an appointment. I gave them availability for every single day of the week including 4 days of which I could do any time and between two personal trainers I was not able to see anyone due to my appointments being canceled on the same day and consistently moved without telling/asking me. I also had called the department head multiple times and the call was never answered. It was extremely frustrating because I had paid for a service (that’s also quite expensive) that I could not use through not fault of my own. Unfortunately the personal training staff here lacks communication skills and time management. If you need personal training you’re better off at another gym.

I’ve been coming to this gym 6 days a week for the past 4 months, and let me tell you—it has truly become a second home. The staff here have been nothing short of amazing, and I honestly see them more than I see my own family (no exaggeration 😆).
I want to take a moment to give a special shout-out to Richmond C., who was my trainer for 3 months. His guidance and support made such a powerful impact on my life that I felt inspired to open my own social media health page: Gloribi.Health.Journey. That should tell you just how much this space has empowered me.
I also had the chance to train with Flor R. for a day, and she is an absolute ROCKSTAR! Her energy is unmatched.
To the rest of the incredible staff—Angel, Lee, Devon, Chris, Jimmy, Michelle, Ruth, Eddy, Niomi—thank you for treating me like family. Each of you has contributed in your own way to making my experience here unforgettable.
The journey to health and strength isn’t always easy, but having the right people around you makes all the difference. I feel incredibly lucky that you all get to be part of this chapter of my life.

I’m not much of a gym girl so I didn’t expect too much when I came here but it was amazing. The massage chairs? Fantastic. The most extensive chair massage ever. It even massages your hands while you’re in it! It gets your whole body and is adjustable to your size (I did seem a tiny bit too short for the smallest setting though so I bet it would give the best massage ever to someone over 5’5) It even has a different options for if you were taking the massage before you work out or after you work out in “recovery mode”
Every single staff member was so friendly and helpful. They were all in a great mood while I was there and didn’t get annoyed to show me around and explain everything to me.
I felt a little stupid at first because I am not super familiar with all the types of machines here but they all had photos on them and describe how to use them. (While I was here) the people just mind their own business so no one stares at you as you learn the machines.
They have a movie theater room that plays in the dark and has surround sound so you can run or bike to a film.
It really is a fantastic gym with guided classes (check the times before you go; they’re mostly in the early morning and after work times)
Clean restrooms, daycare for kids, clean showers, hair dryers, sauna, protein cafe, massage machines and tanning. Everything you could ever want. Very glad I decided to try this gym; mostly because of that amazing massage chair though. Wow. Really made this gym stand out from the others. I’ve never had one massage my fingers and wrist out before! Also, the great staff - their mood was so nice it made it feel so welcoming, comfortable and inviting
If you’re looking for a new gym to try out, I highly recommend coming to try this one.

I’ve been a member since 2022 and I have worked out in every location. By far I feel the most at home at the Cranston location. All of the staff members became my friends. Li, Angel, Dave, Richmond all are extremely welcoming at the door. They ask me what I’m working out on and give encouragement. My PT sessions with Coach Jay have been challenging both physically and mentally but that’s what I’m there for. I definitely come out of each session differently than I went in. He brings his knowledge and calm demeanor which balances out my crazy at times. Thank you Edge staff I hope I can make you smile now after this review

I absolutely love the Edge Cranston. I’ve been going here for a little less than a year and I’m like addicted to it great equipment. Everybody that works out here works really hard and the crew of employees is amazin! Franky, Will, Ruth, Todd Naomi and Nelly! No one ever walks in or out of that gym without being greeted like they’re the most important person in the world. They are so friendly so on top of walking around the gym and making sure everything looks good and the weights are re-racked! I prefer this vibe to the Warwick on any day of the week!

Great gym with a variety of equipment that is in good working order! There are a good amount of benches and machines so I have not had issue finding an available piece of equipment even when the gym is busy. Price is very reasonable as well compared to other gyms.

I’m pretty disappointed with how the guest policy is handled at Edge Fitness. While it’s nice that the membership includes a guest, the process is frustrating. Having to generate a QR code every single time my guest joins me and waiting for it to become available is inconvenient and unnecessary. On top of that, my guest gets called multiple times afterward to sign up for a membership, which honestly feels pushy and uncomfortable. This place is a machine designed to take your money. They will say anything to lock you into a contract and try to extract as much money from you as possible once they have you. All I wanted was the ability to take classes without having to pay an arm and a leg for an overcrowded gym with barely any parking. I later find out that paying $25 a month isn’t even enough to gain access to all the classes. It only counts for certain studios. There is also a women’s only gym which I would GLADLY use since the men who go here are creepy! but you have to pay for the most expensive membership gain access. Having a separate space in the gym should be a curacy for women, not a privilege.
The amount I pay for this gym does not equate to the benefits of having this membership. I won’t be renewing and I won’t be recommending this gym to anyone.

I take pride in building teams, developing employees, and creating a welcoming environment for both staff and customers. That’s why my experience at Edge Fitness in Cranston (318 Garfield Ave) was so disturbing — especially due to the unacceptable behavior of General Manager Naomi, who refused to give her last name or employee ID when asked.
From the first moment I spoke with her over the phone, Naomi was hostile, impatient, and condescending. Her tone was aggressive, as if I were wasting her time simply by asking questions about the gym and the Edge Kids program. I honestly thought she was a disengaged front desk employee — because no professional GM should speak to a potential customer that way.
I came in under the 3-day trial to get a sense of the facility and community. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was friendly, and I was told to wait for my tour. I stood up to look around the café area when I noticed Naomi using her body language — arms crossed, glaring — to silently direct an employee to come over and “control” me by telling me to sit down again. It was an unnecessarily domineering tactic, treating me as if I were a problem rather than a guest. It was clear she was trying to physically assert control of the space rather than approach me directly with a respectful conversation.
When I finally met with the tour rep, he rushed me through the gym. I was told I had two options: pay $15 for a day pass or sign up for a membership for $1 and cancel within 10 days. During this, I spoke with several staff members — Robert, Dave, Gisele, and Frank — all of whom were genuinely kind, respectful, and seemed to want the best for me as a customer. But it was also obvious that they were under pressure. You could feel Naomi’s oppressive presence hanging over them. They weren’t being pushy on their own — they were being pushed.
I was seriously considering signing up for the trial when Naomi suddenly stormed over and said, “What’s going on? I hear you’re giving my employees trouble.” I was stunned. There was zero “trouble.” Just me asking questions and weighing my options. I explained this calmly and even Gisele reassured her that I was leaning toward the trial membership.
Instead of welcoming that, Naomi barked back, “Well then sign up and let’s get going.” She was unprofessional, pushy, and completely aware of how her tone, energy, and body posture were creating a toxic, intimidating atmosphere. She wasn’t managing — she was dominating.
At that point, I told her I didn’t appreciate the pressure, her disrespectful tone on the phone, or how she’d been treating me since I arrived. Her response? “Then leave.” And when I started to walk out, she smiled smugly and said, “Don’t forget your stuff,” like I was being dismissed from detention.
As a fellow GM, I was appalled. Naomi shows a complete lack of leadership, hospitality, and emotional intelligence. Her approach is not just unwelcoming — it’s harmful to the team she oversees. The staff clearly wants to do well, and I commend them for their kindness despite the pressure. But with Naomi in charge, their potential is being stifled.
When I asked to speak to someone above her, Naomi arrogantly stated, “There’s no one else — I’m the boss.” Only after I pushed for contact information did she hand me a card and say, “You can try ABC Fitness,” still brushing me off like I didn’t matter.
If Edge Fitness values its reputation and its people, they should take a serious look at the management at this location. Naomi’s behavior drove away a potential long-term member and reflects poorly on the brand. No customer — or employee — should be subjected to this kind of treatment.

After one year of weekly training at Edge Fitness with Jared Zimmer I felt it was time to write a review of my experiences. I started going to the gym after years of neglecting my fitness. I stopped by Edge one day to check things out and having been to other gyms I was surprised that a gym could be so clean. It had a sauna so I decided to try a free gym session.
After a few days of fumbling around the weights and machines I decided to talk with one of the trainers Jared Zimmer. I could tell Jared was knowledgeable at my first encounter. The questions he asked about my fitness were right on target. I decided to sign up for the 30 minute weekly training sessions. After several weeks of the 30 minute training sessions I started to see some progress in my fitness. I felt better and stronger. Jared was focused and easy to work with on scheduling and during sessions. I could text him my availability and we easily settled on dates for training sessions.
During training sessions Jared was always focused on me and my fitness. He wasn’t on his phone texting or posting his latest TikTok of his own personal fitness journey. Jared is a knowledgeable and professional trainer taking all aspects of training into focus; nutrition, stretching, body mechanics, weight lifting and rest. There were some days I would show up at the gym sick and Jared could tell despite all the medicine I had taken to mask my symptoms. Jared would simply say “You can’t get stronger when your body is fighting to get well” This was really telling about Jared’s character. He was focused on my fitness and my well being despite losing an hour of training pay.
If you exercise you know about having good days and bad days at the gym. Jared rolled with my highs and lows and kept me on track. There were even a couple of days during the year I could see that Jared was feeling down and he didn’t let those hard days that he was having interfere with me or my training goals. He stayed on target so I could stay on target. The professionalism is exemplary. I want to point out that Jared is kind but keeps you focused on you and your goals.
During this last year of training I became stronger, I learned directly from Jared how to get fit using the right form and proper weight. I never had an injury during my training and I learned how to maintain my fitness when I am training on my own. Jared is an aficionado of music so whatever sparks your fancy he will play it and be able to talk about it. Lastly, I made a friend. Thank you Jared for all the training.

I joined this fitness club in July 2024 and have already signed in 287 times—it truly feels like a community here. The staff in the mornings are fantastic; you’re always greeted with a warm smile, which makes a big difference in starting the day.
The juice bar is my favorite spot, especially since they created a special espresso smoothie with “Cafe Bustelo.” It’s a unique treat you won’t find anywhere else!
The gym itself is top-notch, with all the latest equipment and always kept very clean. The restroom and shower areas are spacious and never feel crowded.
Overall, this club goes above and beyond both in amenities and atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and well-maintained fitness environment.

Big gym with lots of equipment, but that’s the only great thing. This location is insanely busy and you will be waiting to use facilities or machines if you come at peak times which is pretty much every hour they’re open. The front desk has a high turnover rate and is typically run by teenagers. I’ve been going to this gym for about two years so I know what I’m talking about. The last time I went tanning, the floor was covered with oil which nobody seemed to have noticed, and when I asked if someone could clean it up for me to use the room, it was wiped with a paper towel, and there was still oil all over the floor. The teenagers working here really don’t know what they’re doing, but the gym itself is nice.

I do personal training at this gym with Jada and i wouldnt trade that for the world. That woman is not only educating in her craft, she also makes your tribulations her during the journey. I have struggled with the gym life for years due to nerve and muscle damage etc. Within three months i was able to gain 13 pounds (healthy) and i also gained a best friend. If you are looking for a trainer, Jada is by far the way to go. Dont get me wrong they have other Trainers too that are amazing like Nick and Aracelys (sorry for spelling) who will give you what you ask for too along with great energy. This team has made the gym my second home and those who work there a second family.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding an unfortunate experience I had at your facility this morning with Angel.
I arrived for my scheduled class approximately five minutes late. As a new mother, it took careful planning and effort to arrange a sitter so I could attend and take some much-needed time for myself. Unfortunately, upon arriving, I realized I had mistakenly brought the wrong set of keys and did not have my membership tag with me.
I informed the supervisor on duty of the situation and explained that I had already made it to the class time and just needed assistance accessing my account. He insisted I download the gym app to check in. However, on two previous visits, I was told the same thing, and both times, the app was not functioning properly. On those occasions, staff members were able to verify my membership via the computer without issue.
Today, although the supervisor did successfully verify my account on the computer, he still refused to allow me into the class. By this point, I was already eleven minutes late, and I pleaded with him to let me join the class and resolve the app issue afterward. Instead of working with me to find a reasonable solution, he continued to place barriers that felt unnecessarily rigid and dismissive of the circumstances.
This experience was incredibly frustrating and disheartening. As someone juggling the responsibilities of new motherhood, these moments of self-care are rare and important to me. The lack of compassion and unwillingness to problem-solve in the moment made an already difficult morning much more stressful than it needed to be.
I am disappointed in the way this situation was handled and hope that your team will take this feedback seriously. I would appreciate follow-up on how concerns like this are addressed and what steps are being taken to ensure a more understanding and supportive environment for your members—especially those facing unique challenges.

If I could give this gym zero stars, I would. This is by far the most unprofessional, unwelcoming, and outright disrespectful establishment I have ever dealt with. Let me break it down.
I went in to cancel my membership after over a year of paying them MONTHLY without issue. I understood it was rush hour, so I patiently waited for at least 20 minutes before finally being assisted. No problem. Angel, the worker who helped me, was polite and made the cancellation process smooth—until I saw something that absolutely infuriated me.
As my information was being pulled up, I noticed a note in my account falsely accusing me of being “very rude” during an interaction in October 2024. This so-called “incident” was when I spoke to a manager named Nelinda S about rescheduling a training session. SHE was the one who was condescending and rude to ME over the phone. And yet, somehow, there’s a permanent note in their system labeling ME as rude? If I had known they were secretly keeping false accusations on my account, I would have canceled this membership a long time ago.
Now here’s the kicker—when I asked for a copy of this note, I was denied access. But somehow, every employee who pulls up my account can see it? And yet, when my boyfriend asked to see the description, they suddenly claim it’s “confidential.” Confidential for who?! I just canceled my membership! If my reputation can be smeared internally without my knowledge, I have every right to see what’s being written about me.
This gym is not just disrespectful—it’s dishonest and operates with no professionalism whatsoever. The attitudes of the staff are disgusting, and they act like they’re running a VIP event instead of a gym that should be welcoming and supportive for people on their fitness journeys. Instead of making customers feel comfortable and encouraged, they make them feel small, dumb, and dismissed.
If you’re considering joining this gym, do not, go in the opposite direction. They do not care about their customers, they keep secret false accusations on your account, and they make it impossible for you to defend yourself. My next step? Corporate. Because this is filing and defamation, and I refuse to let this slide.

The gym is clean & the staff is friendly. Unfortunately they shut everything down early in the Cranston location. The woman’s sauna has been turned off early not once but multiple occasions. Once was told it was down for only that night but this has happened approx 4-5 times at this point. For someone like myself it can be really disappointing when that’s how you plan to wind down after your workout. I do my best to time my workout to fit 10 minutes in the sauna even when I have to have a late night session after work. It’s not right to the people who pay for the gym & this amenity to not be able to use it when there’s still 15-20 minutes left to the gym being open.

I have been doing personal training with Kandel Dowden at Edge in Cranston, RI since the beginning of November 2024. He is by far the best trainer and has taught me everything I know about training and nutrition, at a time where I knew nothing and thought it would be impossible to be healthy and successful. Thanks to Kandel I have lost 40 lbs in 3 months and I am still going. He has gone above and beyond to give me all the tools I need both physically and mentally. Very good gym. Lots of equipment. Some great Unique Hoist Body movement machines. Hits a bit different. Extremely clean. The cleaners here, in my opinion, are the real winners! Super clean. They clean around you while you workout. Lots of amenities from group X Studios, spinning, Edge Cinema cardio, women's only area to a name a few. This gym could be a five-star all day if they got rid of 9.99 gym memberships. It actually makes no sense and you make more money with less members. The crowdedness and how packed it is is absolutely ridiculous and the most packed gym in the state, hands down. I'm not sure how they think their business model. Gym people will pay 20. And less could actually be more. Edge could cut down on the crowdedness by hacking less people and actually put money in their bank account. It makes no sense. 5,000 members paying $10 is $50,000. And 3,500 members paying $20 is $70,000. You make for a better gym experience with 1500 less members yet adding 20,000 a month to your bank account. Makes no sense. The number rises witj different ratios but this business model of 10 dollar memberships with the most packed gyms in country will backfire. I hope they reconsider. It's crazy how busy this gym is. Could be best, easy 5 star Edge. Think about it!

This is the busiest gym in RI but as a result it’s not clean, most of machines stink, some deep cleaning could help, missing equipment
It’s worth going back only for classes like Spinning and Zumba with Carlos etc but NOT for regular/daily machine workouts
