The Pilates Point Studio offers small group fitness classes specializing in Classical Pilates Mat, Barre, Yoga, Zumba, Cardio Training, and more. We also offer private and semi-private training sessions on Pilates Equipment. We welcome all fitness levels and our staff is trained to modify exercises based on your individual needs.

Kristen’s class this morning checked all the boxes. She used a variety of moves that covered the whole body. The volume of her voice was perfect and the music did not drown her out.

I started my Zumba journey
about 6 weeks ago - I had found myself exceptionally stressed and looking for something to get me a bit more toned and in shape at the age of 52; being someone who has always loved to dance I was hoping this class would help and all I can say is that Zumba Dance Fitness with Kelly at The Pilates Point Studio did all of the above and some.
This class is amazing- Kelly makes the class so enjoyable and fun and always makes sure she shows a low impact way to do some of the moves if you are just starting out. The music pumps you up to just keep going for the entire hour and the class is filled with women that just empower each other. I literally couldn’t ask for a better class and I look forward to Monday nights when I know I can sweat it out and just lose myself in the music and dance. I would be remiss if I didn’t give Kelly and this class and studio 10 stars…. Highly, highly, highly recommend you drop in here for all the classes they offer - you will not be disappointed.

I signed up for the monthly pack where you get unlimited classes for a month and I could not recommend more! As a college student home for winter break I wanted to make sure I was staying active and I was able to take full advantage of that by going to classes either morning or night depending on my schedule. I loved the Barre Fusion classes with Sarah as they were both challenging yet manageable. I always left feeling refreshed and sculpted! I also loved the Pilates Stick classes. I had never been exposed to a class at any other studio like that where the movements mimicked a reformer machine. The environment was always so welcoming and calm and all instructors were very motivating. Could not recommend this studio more!

My daughter and I signed up for the Duet Pilates class with Krista ! Neither one of us have done this before but Krista was able to guide us with visuals that made it easygoing. She has so much compassion and understanding for her craft. We cannot wait to sign up again! I highly recommend this studio and am excited to work with Krista again! Angela S!!!

I have been having pilates lessons with Krista for 4 weeks now and can't say enough about how this has helped me in so many ways! I was having some chronic low back pain because of some lumbar disc disease and was struggling with how to manage it. Since starting my pilates training, I have been 85-90% pain free. I have learned where my posture was weak and have been able start to self correct the issues that have been the cause of my disc degeneration. Thank you Krista!!!

Such a great place to workout. Have been going there for over a year now and I have taken almost all the classes. They have so many classes at all different times of the day. There is a class for everyone. The instructors are so amazing - I have taken classes with almost all - Krista, Jeff, Cori, Sarah, Kelly, Dashe, Dana They are all superb. Each of them come prepared with a planned class that matches up the music. The latest class I took was a drum class and what a workout that was. I would recommend this studio to everyone. PS - my daughter also just started there and she love it.

I attended one of Cori's barre classes with my wife two weeks ago, and I can see why my wife loves Cori's classes and this studio so much. I am a lifelong hockey player and athlete, and I find Cori's workout to be challenging but not intimidating. Cori helps me to safely get the most out of my barre workout by making sure I perform each move with proper form. Cori is very welcoming, as are the other students in the class. I enjoyed my first ever barre class so much, I decided to add barre at the Pilates Point Studio into my weekly workout routine.

I've been taking Dashe's 5:30 am Barre Fusion classes at Pilates Point for the past couple of months and they have become the highlight of my week!
Dashe is an excellent instructor who provides clear direction and cues throughout each fast-paced class. She carefully plans each session to take full advantage of the hour we have together. I also appreciate that Dashe carefully chooses motivating music that complements each exercise.
One of Dashe's strengths is accommodating students of different levels. She offers modifications and alternatives so each student can work at their own comfort level and ability. I never feel lost or unable to keep up in her classes.
I leave Dashe's early morning classes feeling energized and ready to take on the day. Her Barre Fusion class blends challenging strength training with muscle-lengthening stretches. My core strength has improved, my balance is better, and my body feels more toned thanks to Dashe's expert instruction.
I can't recommend these classes highly enough, especially for early risers looking for an invigorating way to kickstart the day. Dashe is a talented, conscientious instructor who makes each class fly by.

I was looking for something local to switch up my workout routine. Cori’s Barre Fusion class is the absolute best class I have ever taken. It’s fresh, fun, inviting, and challenging! I love that Cori focuses on technique to help prevent injury while pushing you to do your personal best. I always leave feeling better than when I arrived and after just a few classes- the results were visible. The studio itself is clean and friendly with a great variety of classes and times. I highly recommend.

My husband and I (age 67) have looked for something to augment our exercise to address the core muscles and overall strength and balance. We have found it with the duet equipment sessions. Sarah keeps up moving and improving. We have significant improvement in our posture, balance and strength. The best is when people we know comment on the improvement in our appearance. We have found our forever exercise home.

I have taken yoga classes, a workshop, and instructional lessons on the Pilates reformer. All have been such a wonderful and welcoming experience so far! I hope to try more classes as there's a great variety! I love switching up my workouts and challenging myself.

I enjoy Dana’s Express Sculpt and Stretch class. It is a very calming, gentle workout for the whole body. Her voice is very soothing, making the class atmosphere very relaxing. It’s a class that starts the weekend off with a great energy and puts you in a pleasant mood when you leave the studio.

Beginning private lessons and groups I have noticed a difference in my strength & overall mindset. I previously struggled with back pain and stiffness which have both resolved since beginning with the studio. I am feeling stronger after each session. Taking classes at the Pilates Point Studio has been one of the best decisions I could have ever made for myself. When I started I was having pain in my hip from lack for core strength and from being overweight. Since joining I have lost over 30lbs and don't have any more hip pain!!! I have seen a huge difference in my energy levels and my strength and endurance since taking these classes. The classes and instructors are all amazing, fun, and inclusive. The other students who take classes are all so nice and friendly and I have never felt uncomfortable like I have at other gyms. I would recommend Pilates Point Studio to everyone!

As a 70 year old male, I was hesitant to join The Pilates Point Studio in Cumberland, RI.....It turned out to be one of the decisions I've made in my life. Starting last Winter as an overweight out of shape blob, with the training and patience of Krista, I am slimmer, fitter and feel great.

The Pilates Point Studio is wonderful, exactly what I was looking for in a work out studio! There are not many studios in RI that offer Buti Yoga, which if you haven't heard of it is a fun mix of Yoga and Cardio! You definitely work up a sweat! This class has been exactly what I have been looking for to really reach those deep abdominal muscles and help strengthen my core! If you're looking for a great work out that targets all those problem areas we're all self conscious about, this is it! Valerie is fantastic and she always has the best music that makes you want to move!

So far I have taken to (introductory) Pilate sessions and i am pleased with the instruction and professionalism. I have four more sessions set-up and i am evaluating these workouts for specific improvements to core and hip strength which are vital to playing racquetball and have slipped a bit with age.
