About the Club

CrossFit is unique in that it’s constantly varied functional movements. Nearly every day will have a different workout. CrossFit gyms have free reign to run their own programming. It’s one of the things that makes CrossFit unique. We follow traditional CrossFit programming which means there is a single workout each day. We don’t do a strength portion followed by a WOD like many gyms are now doing. We respect heavy days and keep them on their own. The first half of each class is warming up and focusing on technique that can be applied to the workout, then the WOD will be 5-25 minutes typically followed by a cooldown and stretching.

This is a great new CrossFit gym/box. Wonderful owner/operators. Obviously a passion for fitness. The members were wonderful and happy on a Tuesday morning. All the indications of a wonderful environment that great CrossFit communities build. Dropped in on vacation and would happily show up daily if I lived here. If you’re local, don’t be intimidated, they’ll make it fun for you and you will get fit. If you are visiting, don’t hesitate to drop in here. It’s what you expect out of a thriving box.

This is a wonderful workout experience. The trainers are amazing and give very precise instructions. They are careful to push you but not beyond your limit. If you are new to crossfit, I promise you will feel welcome. If you have been doing crossfit and are already in shape, our coaches can help you step up your game. Are you looking for a great community to be a part of? This is it.

Crossfit in Travelers Rest is so welcoming! The coaches are AMAZING! They are patient, they push you well, they teach you form for your skill level! I'm almost 5 months postpartum and am already feeling better! It's a hard workout but feels very accomplishing!! If you've ever thought about coming try Crossfit, it is a judgment free zone no matter what level you are at 😊💪

Love this gym and its community! I started TR CrossFit when I was 4 months postpartum and recovering from an injury. The coaches are thorough in educating, scaling workouts to your skill level, and keeping safety a top priority. The workouts are hard and also so fun.

I’ve always wanted to try CrossFit so I was pumped when one finally opened in Travelers Rest! Tom, Carling and Thomas are all great coaches and have taught me so much! 3 months in and I am stronger than I ever was at the gym.

It’s also a great opportunity to meet other like minded people in TR that I wouldn’t have met otherwise! Come try it, you won’t regret it.

I was convinced CrossFit was not for me because my fitness level was very beginner. I was wrong. Carling and Tom are the best! They have taken the time to break down the movements so I can learn them. Guide me on what modifications I might need to try but still push me to give my all. I’ve been going for a couple of months and I’m still amazed at the progress I have made and the community of friends I have gained. I highly recommend trying out CrossFit at CrossFit Traveler Rest!

I love this place. I'm not incentivized to go someplace, put my headphones on and stay to myself while I muddle through exercises that I should probably not be doing by myself and giving up after 3 weeks.
This is a community where you can work hard together with others and accomplish goals that you didn't even know you had. Tom, Carling and family are gems, and the groups who work out are super fun.

CrossFit Travelers Rest has been quite a life changing experience for me. I had worked out at home for over 10 years and before that was an athlete. I don’t think I realized how much I not only missed the camaraderie, but also missed being pushed and learning new skills. Tom, Carling and Thomas are all so knowledgeable and have pushed me in ways I definitely wouldn’t have pushed myself. I’m the strongest I’ve ever been in my life and as a 32 year old mom that’s been very exciting. If you’re on the fence about coming, do it. You’ll be welcomed by extremely kind coaches who will walk through everything step by step. Anddd if you come to 6:45am class (aka the best class ever) Mon-Fri I’ll be there too just sayin
