Amy is an incredible yogi. She provides a nonjudgmental space and encourages proper posture over speed. I've been practicing for years, and have never learned as much as I have from her classes.
She does alignments during class & talks you through the correct position. She offers different levels throughout the week. I cannot say enough positive things about this studio.
If you're on the fence, come. First class is free & very reasonable rates thereafter🙏🏼

Absolutely wonderful yoga teacher and classes. I went in knowing literally nothing about yoga, and always have felt so welcomed by Amy and other students. It has been great for my mental and physical health and I highly recommend to anyone in the area.

AmyLea Yoga and Wellness is a true blessing to Jefferson County! I am so happy she's here :) As a registered yoga teacher myself, I've been so impressed with Amy, her teaching, her space, her passion, and her kindness since day one! I always leave her classes on cloud nine. And let's not even get started on her ADJUSTMENTS! They truly set her apart from any yoga teacher I've ever gone to in my 10 years of practice. I can't recommend checking out one of her classes enough. ALSO your first class is free :)

Amy is a true professional and has a great system to every session. I visit her every time I'm in TN. My sister lives here, so she is a full member. Amy is caring, helpful, and treats 1st timers as regulars and ensures the safety and best practice of yoga 🧘‍♀️ for everyone! I highly recommend her for anyone looking to start yoga 🧘‍♂️ or deepen their practice! I feel so relaxed after I attend her sessions. I've learned proper techniques that I missed during big chain gyms that offer yoga, like 24-hour Fitness.

Well worth it. Amy puts on a darn good class. Challenging, but she can also help you modify the class if you have injuries, etc. Amy also provides great info on other health and wellness topics related to peace and mindfulness. Well worth it!

Amy is absolutely the best yoga instructor! Her manner of teaching is focused on learning and practicing. Each pose is explained and demonstrated. She will adjust to the students level of ability, showing how to modify a pose so we get the most from our time. Amy also stresses the importance of breath, including breathing and meditation with each class. I can't believe how much I have accomplished taking her classes! Can't wait for the next one.

In my experience, it’s hard to take another yoga class now that I have worked with Amy. One thing I love about her class is her focus on proper placement to prevent injuries and gain proper strength. You leave feeling refreshed and opened, plus she has some cute shirts in her studio at a reasonable price.

Amy’s yoga instruction is centered on proper positioning and learning poses. She shares her passion of yoga through her teachings. Classes focus on balance and strength work in asanas. Classes end with a breath focused meditation. I highly recommend Amy as an instructor
