It's a nice Anytime..I've been to few and this one is clean and everything is in pretty good shape.
Staff seems nice as well.
I read some of the poor reviews left for this place.
One that called it "hostile".
Another who said they felt unsafe there.
I have no idea why someone would feel either of those things about this gym.
I'm guessing they would feel that way anywhere they went if they felt that way, here.
It's safe, clean and everyone seems to keep to themselves.
Which is a big plus, in my book.
To those people, good luck finding somewhere "safer" or less "hostile".
This place is neither.

It’s the nicest gym in town. Help is very knowledgeable and friendly. People using equipment are really good about wiping it down after use. Equipment is kept in excellent shape. I highly recommend using this gym for your workout routine!!! ♥️♥️♥️

Not everyone enjoys a trip to the gym like I do... For some people, simply showing up is difficult. What i love most about this gym is that they have created a culture and environment where no matter how you're feeling that day, excitement and victory are felt as soon as you walk in the door. This is a great gym for a total workout. The equipment is well maintained and the owners are fastidious about keep it clean. This gym is AWESOME! I came home to visit my family and stumbled upon it. The owners were SO NICE and accommodating and it’s easy to get a one day visit- just Venmo them. They have all the equipment you could ever want. They even have showers. The people in the gym were so friendly… HIGHLY recommend!! Wish this gym was in my town.

I travel over the country on my job constantly and I’m sure I’ve been to at least 50 anytime fitness locations. They’re not well equipped, but they’re everywhere almost. I would have to say this is the best equipped, anytime fitness I’ve ever been to for it’s size. Whoever owns it knows what they’re doing.

This review is nothing against the gym. I don't even go there but this letter was put on my car a few years back from someone who does/ did go to the gym and I still get angry. I shared it back then but I think it was deleted. Anyway, we parked in the gym parking lot and not the church because we were HIDING my car from my mom because we were throwing her a SURPRISE party and didn't want her to see my car. Love this place! This gym by far has the best Hammerstrength equipment as well as the cleanest and best layout! The new management here has went above and beyond to make this the best place in KPT to work out at. Friendly environment and a filtered water station to keep you hydrated plus 2 showers in 4 of the bathrooms that are always kept nice and clean. And after your workout you can sit in the sauna and relieve sore muscles. If your thinking of joining a gym, don't just take my word on it go by and see for yourself. You'll agree!

This gym is one of the best Anytime fitness locations I’ve been too. Stayed in Kingsport for a couple weeks and worked out here a few times each week. Plenty of equipment and free weights to get the job done. There is also an outdoor section. Met the owners a couple of times. They were both super helpful.

I wouldn’t have rated this place so high a year ago, but the new management had made a HUGE difference. The equipment is great and clean, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and reliable. This location just keeps getting better!

The only thing I could ask for is a full rack for heavy lifts. The half racks are great, but I just don’t like spotting or doing rack pulls from them.

This is one of the best Anytime Fitness’s I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to dozens of them over the years. Not only do they have much better equipment than most gyms, the facility is also extremely clean with a great atmosphere. They’re also rarely ever crowded and they actually play good music. The Anytime Fitness in Kingsport, TN is fantastic. It is fairly new and all of the equipment is in great condition and looks brand new. They have everything you could possibly need to get a full body workout and/or cardio workout. There's no track for running, but there are plenty of cardio machines to choose from. Almost all the equipment is Hammer Strength brand, which is (in my opinion) the best equipment manufacturer for equipment that I've used - they all have plenty of padding and aren't uncomfortable to use like some others I have tried.

If you enjoy lifting this anytime has literally everything. It was awesome be able to use the various gym equipment a lot of Anytimes do not have. They even have two sets of every dumbbell so that is pretty convenient. The showers looked pretty nice too. Only complaint the bathrooms were pretty cold

My son in law has been trying to cancel his membership for two months . It is impossible to speak to a live person. Or to even leave a message. They also charged him twice after cancelation. And they called it "cancelation fees". I recommend going elsewhere. It should not be this complicated to cancel a membership and have to pay extra fees.

Ridiculous pricing and impossible to cancel. You’ll be better off literally anywhere else. They have two random “installment fees” every year that they don’t tell you about either that are usually $30 or more. Each month membership is $40. Its the smallest gym i’ve ever seen. Pretty sure Planet Fitness is $10 or so a month and free to cancel.

They never let you cancel your membership no matter who you talk to. I was there in the middle of the day and they still would not cancel membership. They will sign you up but not cancel. I would not recommend anyone to join this gym

Generally crowded between the hours of 6:00-8:00am and 3:00-7:00pm. This location is continuing to grow so in the mean time there is limited equipment available. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. They offer cool towels and have a featured daily infused water dispenser available with a selection of fruit that is complimentary to its members. The bathrooms are nice especially since the recent renovation. The only issues are the lack of space per number of members and the language is pretty foul especially in the evenings.

Very nice and new equipment. I had a couple issues in the beginning and the owner, Gary, personally called me to make sure that these issues were taken care of. Very friendly and helpful owner. I love the Hammer Strength equipment as well. Great sound system that plays good music. Bathrooms and showers are very nice as well. The owner did not spare any expense in purchasing top of the line equipment . You should definitely check it out.
