After getting out of the service (20 year aircraft mechanic) it was hard to find a place that I felt more at home. I jumped around with the typical ones and then when armor opened and I checked it out I knew it would be a good fit. But as time went on it became more. What was really helpful (beyond great atmosphere, friendly people, quality equipment etc) was having everyone who works here be knowledgeable and approachable. I had a lot of injuries that got fixed when I got out and was able to finally go to gyms and was able to lose 110lbs. As I started to need help to make that become even more, I asked a lot of questions other places couldn’t answer. Each person that works here believes in being fit and healthy and can help with that along with gym movements, equipment usage, healthily lifestyle and just being a good spotter. 10/10 recommend.

I'm a powerlifter so I need a lot from a gym, and Armor meets every single need I have! From a dedicated powerlifting room with all the special bars, plates, and equipment I need, to all the machines and freeweights you can think of, and even saunas for recovery! They also have an extensive retail area with all the pre workout, hydration, and protein you could need and some pretty sick merch. And probably the most important thing about the gym is the staff. The owners and managers are very invested in the gym, they take great pride in having a clean space with top of the line, WORKING equipment. Aiden is the best! Every time I come in, he always greets me with a big smile and a friendly “hi.” He’s super helpful and always willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of. (Armor Gym) Oak Ridge is a five star training facility just like its brother in Knoxville. State the art equipment. Amazing awesome staff that’s always willing to help you and there for you if you need it. The vibe here is a little different than Knoxville. It’s not as loud and wide open, but it’s brighter, and has the latest updated version of equipment. What I love most about (Armor Gym) in Oak Ridge is that for some reason I just have that tunnel vision workouts. Not that I don’t have them in Knoxville. But it’s just different kind of hard to explain, you would just have to experience it for yourself. This is what separates the men from the boys or ladies from the girls. Not your typical corporate Gym… Lift safe & let’s gooooo.

I just signed up to be a member at your gym! At first I was a little hesitant just because I’m not a big lifter or gym rat, but I took the leap. When I walked in I was greeted with a smile and friendly welcome by Aiden. Aiden truly went above and beyond with his duties by dealing with me and all my questions. He was super patient with me and walked me through everything. After I spoke with Aiden, I moved over to the nutrition side, and once again, I bombarded Aiden with questions about proteins, drinks, mixes, etc. he was super helpful and receptive to my questions and was very eager to share his knowledge with me and guide me to what products I should ! Aiden truly went above and beyond, assisting me with everything.
