Just signed up today & was welcomed by Addy (with backup from Jess). They gave me a great tour & broke everything down clearly. The gym is spotless, spacious, perfectly cooled & stocked with all the gear, including fancy massage beds!

But the real highlight? The staff. Friendly, sharp, and great sense of humor—if these young folks are the future, we’re in good hands (and great shape :)!

Current management is not giving and rules to new members ..we are seeing multi members letting in others prior to 9am, members just sitting on equipment looking at their phone...many members do not put their weights back, equipment needs attention, stop playing rap music, clocks have not been turned back, staff just sits in office playing on their cell phones. You need to stay competitive with all the new competition.

Ok I love ATC fitness gyms I go to all of them.
One concern that I have at the Cordova Tennessee gym. First of all The women shower curtains have a lot of mold on them mens shower are filthy and moldy. Please have someone to change the curtain and clean the showers

I belong to ATC fitness and love it it has everything you need for a great there are people of all levels they're working out and also the staff is very friendly and helpful they have a great selection of dumbbells free weights weight machines aerobic machines as well as Matt's to work out on and it's affordable I only pay $15 a month it's one of the best places around in Memphis. ATC Cordova has everything I need for a great workout. Free weights, a variety of workout machines, cable stations, and cardio machines -treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, a couple a stair climbers, and rowing machines. Always clean, nice staff will assist anytime you ask, free WiFi and the Silver Sneakers program for 65+adults. You get a lot for such a reasonably priced gym.

The equipment is old and outdated. Gym filled with a bunch of treadmills. The free weight area is to small. ADDITIONAL free weights area needed, kettle bells area needed, additional more updated machinery is needed. You are trying to hide these things by painting the walls and pipes. I left Planet Fitness which was free by the way to join ATC. Your gym is inadequate, but I stay only because of the 24hr access.

The staff is always friendly. I observe them cleaning the facility all through the day. The equipment is rarely out of service and available to use. My only complaint is the temperature but I know the system is on an automatic program and can't keep up with the ever fluctuations of the Memphis weather. I'm glad I joined ATC fitness over 10 years ago.

Customer service was GREAT! I didn't catch the young man's name who signed me up using my Active & Fit Direct, but it was the fastest and smoothest sign up I've ever experienced.

My rating of 3 stars is due the gym and equipment being quite dirty. The equipment showed LOTS of wear, as if the gym has never been updated. There is a VERY visible buildup of dust on the ceilings, as if they've NEVER been cleaned. I have memberships at several competitors, and they are definitely cleaner.

Always clean, enough weight machines, barbells, dumbbells, treadmills, stair climbers, and ellipticals. Massage chairs and suntanning.
I get a great workout no matter how many people or what time I go. All the staff are attentive, polite and courteous.
Locker room with a couple showers and enough lockable lockers to store your gym bag, bring your own lock. Enough lockers to always have one available. Great gym especially for the money!!! Well run company!!! Hit it!!

I've noticed some recent efforts to improve equipment maintenance.

I'd like to see investment in new dumbbells, the addition of kettlebells, and a heavy bag for those of us who like to get our cardio from boxing.

It's also always a good idea to straighten up the weights occasionally. Yes, we should all be responsible for re-racking our weights but there are people who just won't. That's where paid employees come in. Wouldn't that be a better use of your time on occasion than standing around scrolling thru your phone?

I absolutely love this place! At $15/month (I don’t tan or hydro massage) for a 24/7 gym that has great equipment and a variety of options is unparalleled in my opinion. I’ve been going there for around a year and a half and have transformed my body, which I largely attribute to ATC’s atmosphere. The space is large with various areas set up to do free weights, run/elliptical/step climber, calisthenics, and pretty much anything you want. They don’t have personal trainers or classes, which I love. I love it because it means that everyone there is on their own program, which results in a more comfortable and relaxed experience for me. The other gym goers come in every shape, color, and age and are respectful. I’ve never felt objectified as a woman and everyone minds their own business, are cordial, and there to work on themselves; not others. They have hydro massage and tan beds but I don’t partake, so I can’t speak on it. The locker room is clean and has lockers and secluded yet spacious shower areas. It’s a legit gym and I love it.

The fitness center in Cordova is great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. All equipment is in working order and they have different stations to ensure that you get a complete workout. The only complaint I have is that the overhead ventilation system is filthy. It has not been dusted, perhaps ever. This is a particularly noticeable to me because I have asthma.

I do recommend this facility, but I would ask that thryget the overhead ventilation wiped down on a regularly basis.

I had to cancel my membership unexpectedly. I was a member for less than 2days. The manger made sure that I was refunded. I was worried that I was going to be charged for additional months & I wasn’t. I just want to give a huge thank you to this company. Customers often leave negative reviews when they’re upset. Clients should make a habit of leaving reviews when companies do the right thing. I do have 1 small complaint. It would be great if staff could clean the shower area per shift change or at least once a day. I would like to end the review by saying that the manager was welcoming, attentive & professional. The parking lot is well lit at night. Give them a try if you’re looking for a 24 hour gym.

Man, these guys haven’t been able to fix their two water fountains for years. If you’ve lucky, you might a half inch arc of water out of them. Been complaining repeatedly forever to no avail. Every single employee here has been great, never had a bad interaction, made me feel great about switching from a larger gym franchise. Originally signed up, and wanted to use a debit card. It was made very clear it wasn’t allowed and only a direct ACH transfer from a checking account is. I use an online bank platform out of Germany and almost always have issues with ACH. Fast forward to the first months payment and it didn’t work, they then retried a few days later and successfully took the membership price + an additional 50% fee. I also had my girlfriends membership under the same ACH setup because that’s all they allow, and ran into the same issue. Upon resolving this with the great and attentive staff they suggested I just use a debit card. Something I was adamantly told is not an option upon signing up. Frustrating that transparency wasn’t there from the start. Again, I hate to leave a bad review, as the entire staff is great.

The gym is clean and well maintained. This ATC is more than worth the monthly cost of the membership. You can get the premium membership and use their locations all across the region, though I will argue this is the best of the lot. They also have tanning rooms, which I don't use since I'm already brown but does seem like a great utility included in the price of an affordable gym membership.

The bank did not reply. I had to get a new debit card.

DO NOT give this company your checking account number and routing number. They tried to get this from me when I signed up. I would only give them my debit card because it's a lot easier to get new debit card then a new checking account.

Be careful if you want to cancel your membership. You may be charged membership fee for several months, please do not believe the staff will cancel your membership, you can only send an email to customer service to leave a certificate. Because the staff did something wrong, they will change the staff, so that the previous mistake they will not admit. They'll tell you I didn't come to work at the time. This is really bad customer service.
