The owners and trainers are outstanding. They train average kids and adults, athletes, and people with special needs. They take great care to ensure that their programming will work for each client and their own needs.
I would recommend this gym to anyone looking to get fit, lose weight, gain muscle mass, stay healthy, or excel in a competitive sport.

I’ve been training at Block Fitness Nashville for two years now, and it’s truly unlike any other gym I’ve been to. From day one, I’ve felt welcomed, supported, and encouraged, not just by my trainer Lance, but by the entire community he has built. Lance has been a major part in helping me stay consistent and accountable, and the camaraderie among both trainers and members keeps me motivated to show up session after session. Block Fitness isn’t just a gym, it’s a place where you feel included, challenged, and part of something great. Highly recommend!

Block Fitness is an incredible gym. Lance (owner) and all of the other trainers are wonderful people. Sometimes the gym has 2-3 people in it, and sometimes it’s absolutely packed. No matter how many of us are in there, we are having a great time and getting stronger. Everyone is supportive of one another in the gym - I have only ever felt welcomed and empowered while at Block Fitness.
A special shout out to Lance - genuinely one of the kindest and most supportive people I have had the pleasure of knowing. He works with you and understands that life happens, and will do his best to accommodate the changes.
If you are looking into gyms and personal training, especially as we head into the new year, I highly recommend that your first (and last) stop is Block Fitness.

The worst kind of people you will ever meet! They’re liars and not very kind! Very snobby and thinks the world revolves around them. They’re also very rude. I will never use them again! I walked in to the gym and I felt like they were judging me because I was Muslim. Worst experience ever! Remember kindness is a virtue. Treat others how you would want someone to treat your kids!

Lance is an AWESOME trainer who is VERY personable, hilarious, and knowledgeable of ALL things training! He will hold you accountable to ensure you are on track toward reaching YOUR goals. His motivation and advocacy for his clients to push through their workouts (specifically me) has been essential mentally and physically to my success- I feel so empowered post each workout session!

I struggled with loosing few pounds for years. My friend in Canada and I , used Block fitness virtual personal training . He was successful in getting us off the couch after 8 hrs of desk jobs. He is so motivating and no one can match his skills. We are both in our 60’s ( old ladies) trying to keep up with the young generation. By exercising, we lost weight, bone density increased, cholesterol and blood pressure decreased. What else can we ask for. 🙏👌

I have been working out with Lance at Block Fitness for 2 months. During which I have lost 30 pounds and gained strength and confidence. Lance has the ability to meet his clients where they are on their journey to be healthier. I needed better eating habitats, Lance provide me a diet and holds me accountable to send him pictures of my meals. I am so blessed, that I made the decision to use Block Fitness.

slow and steady wins..after not exercising for almost a year..I went to "Block Fitness", my daughter-in-law, Miranda, had found Personal Trainer..aka..Lance. So I started at the Block in March...mid summer, I could tell a difference in how my clothes fit, in June I was able to unload a pick up truck full of stone pavers and 2 weeks ago, I moved, 12 file boxes weighing at least 20 lbs each...and yesterday..I realized..I had lost at least 12 lbs...#on the BLOCK. for consistent challenging sessions, Lance is the "Best on the BLOCK " couldn't have done it without Block Fitness..

Block Fitness itself is a WHOLE VIBE. I started training with Lance soon after I was cleared from a severe ankle injury. I was nervous getting back to fitness after being not able to train for 2.5 months but soon as I pulled up to “The Block” for the first time I felt the positive vibe and the warm welcome from Lance and his other clients. His Encouragement , His Motivation and Willingness & Enthusiasm never waver. Extremely Solid. I’m glad I joined the Team of Hard workers on “The Block” with a Great Trainer to lead us and offer us all instruction on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle along with fitness and nutritional guidance.

Lance at Block Fitness is absolutely wonderful. I reached out to him about six months ago when my 13-year-old was struggling with body image issues. Our goal was to get him moving and help him realize how great it feels to be strong (without making it a conversation about weight). Lance began with the basics and has slowly stepped him up in intensity - always cheering him on and reminding him (especially during the hard times) that he's capable of doing the work. Today, my son looks forward to his time with Lance each week and it has changed his life.

Block Fitness is LIFE!!!! I've lost 20lbs since joking in January. Lance is very patient and kind and beyond motivating. He's super caring and more than dedicated. The proof is in the pudding! He stays on track with your nutrition plan and he's also fun which is a big deal for me. He even put together a fun kickball team. I love it here!
