British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults, starting as early as 3 months. Located inside National Fitness Center, we're open year-round and welcome both gym members and non-members. You can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons subject to availability.

Excellent and safe swing school. Being indoors it goes year-round. Our son loves the water and has also learned great social skills being with instructors as well as other children. Great confidence booster for both parent and child.

Amazing classes for my 8 yr old son. He was afraid of the water when he went in. A year later he was swimming the full length of an Olympic sized pool. Kyler and Haven his instructors were amazing and he looked forward to seeing them every week. I highly recommend this school.

My family is newer to the NFC in Maryville and we have signed up for swim lessons with British Swim. My kids have had the best experience here! Skylar worked one on one with my son, encouraging and motivating him to fly through the levels. My son has discovered a passion and talent for swimming that we didn't know was there, thanks to him.

We love it here! They meet your kids at the level they're at, and provide structure while letting their skills progress naturally without forcing them. As a mom it's a HUGE relief to have my kids feel comfortable in the water and know what to do in a situation if they accidentally end up in the water. Haven and Skylar are amazing and have been teaching our kids from the start. Their ability to connect with all skill levels is amazing. We highly recommend enrolling if you're looking to start your water safety journey.

Amazing experience for my little girl learning how to swim! They center safety so that if something happens around water the child will be able to roll over and float. Then they build on that foundation with each lesson. I also love how kids advance levels based on the skills they master instead of repetition for weeks just to have to pay for another round of classes. It’s been an amazing transformation from fear of water on her face to diving under water for my 5 yo!

We’ve done just a handful of classes so far in the Starfish group and my son loves it! The class sizes are small so they get plenty of pool time. Each of the instructors do a great job with the kids and they are all consistent across teaching skills.
