I have been attending BPG for years and have seen it transform into the most incredible gym in the tri-cities! I am all for functional fitness and that is exactly what you will find here. All of the trainers and coaches are great! I had my 3rd in body scan today as I’m trying to lose fat and preserve muscle and Abbey has been so incredible to work with to achieve the desired results. I am so thankful for BPG. I have been doing personal training with Abbey for over a year, and it has been life changing.

As a plus size woman with several chronic illnesses, including endometriosis with pelvic pain and asthma, I have struggled with exercise my whole life. A few years ago, a physician even told me that I would not be able to lift weights or do any major strength training. Thankfully I started seeing Noelle at Empassion Pelvic Health, and after some physical therapy she referred me to BPG for personal training. Through this partnership with PT, I am able to use my FSA to pay for my PT session. Being able to use my FSA and the flexibility in scheduling at BPG made it a great fit for me.

I am forever thankful to have Abbey as my personal trainer. She is so knowledgeable and really supports me every step of the way. She works in conjunction with my physical therapists at Empassion to make sure I am progressing in general and with specific goals without causing a flare or injury. Through my work with her, I have reduced my physical therapy visits, grown a lot in strength training, and feel more confident and comfortable working out. She pushes me each session while also staying in tune with what I need and adapting my work out if I and dealing a flare, sore from another workout, etc.

The environment at BPG is amazing. When I am working out when classes are going on I see people of so many different ages and backgrounds killing it in class. It is such a positive environment. This is the first gym I have been to where I feel like it is okay for me to take up space. I also love the bathroom/showers they have. It is great for me in the summer to be able to come work out in the morning then get ready and go work summer school straight from the gym. I am thankful for Rachel, Josh, Abbey, and everyone at BPG for making it the amazing place that it is.

I am 70 and had a serious knee injury that the doctor was very reluctant to operate on. My daughter wanted me to try working with a trainer and we found Abby! I have been working with her for 4 months and it is absolutely amazing the difference I feel in my knee and in my whole body. I cannot recommend this gym more. I have been a member there since early 2021. The trainers and owners are always growing and evolving, and the culture at this place is unmatched. I never knew what functional strength training was, but I’m so glad that I do now because it has helped me not only in my everyday work life but in my life of being a mom as well. As a person who has found it hard to stay consistent in the gym, I am thrilled to be at BPG! The coaches are SO helpful and are willing to make modifications to ensure you are doing what’s best for YOUR body. I now find the dread of group classes is no longer an issue since I am allowed to work at a pace that aligns with me. Not to mention the illustrious green towel as you cool down. If you are looking for something challenging, fun, and rewarding, I would 10/10 recommend BPG!

I started training every week, as part of a group session, I really enjoy the variety & challenge they put into the sessions.

I must be a glutton for punishment

The staff are super friendly and focused on helping me achieve my goals and they make every session challenging and fun. My fitness has increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more sit ups and push ups, core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts. They also help with nutrition if needed. I have lost 12 lbs since seeing mine.

I really love this gym and the people who work there!!

Importantly:

– They always ensure that my techniques are correct to avoid any injuries.
I have a few injuries that don't allow me to do everything but they always make sure I have an alternative movement.

Build power grind has been one of the only gyms I have stayed consistent at going to. Josh is my trainer and has exceeded my expectations. He always comes in with a positive attitude putting everyone around him in a good mood. He is very motivating making you want to do better every session. I feel I have seen tremendous results in my body and overall mental health after going to his sessions. These sessions are very personalized for every person that comes in making you feel better and making it easier to reach your goals. His wife Rachel is the same way. They make you feel super comfortable in everything you are doing and both are some of the best people you will ever meet. Build Power Grind is for everyone! I will continue to be attending this gym and think everyone should if you have the chance. My experience is a 5/5.

Josh is my personal trainer and he’s the best of the best, not only is he a good trainer but he also is a great person! Every time I leave a session I always feel like I reached my potential for a workout. The gym is always super clean and the staff are always nice. They sell energy drinks, protein shakes, protein bars, etc… which is always convenient to have at the gym. Rachel his wife is also the best and is very helpful with anything you ask her about. My first class was incredibly welcoming! I love the attention to detail. The gym is spaced out well, the workout instructions are clear and concise without being overbearing like other gyms can be with their overt motivation. The workouts were difficult, but I didn't feel judged for scaling them when I felt fatigued as I have not had a gym routine the last year after going 5 days a week religiously for 8yrs. The lavender towel at the end was a nice touch, and my favorite part is that the music is the perfect volume so my neighbor can't hear me panting/grunting/struggling for my life. Very excited about future classes with BPG!

This gym is seriously the best around. They are true professionals. I take personal training here with Abbey and not only does she help me build strength and resilience through weightlifting, but she has collaborated with my physical therapists consistently to make sure they are on the same page and working together to get me the best results for my function and pain. I celebrated one year of group strength classes at BPG today. These classes are unlike any I have ever taken before. I always avoided strength classes at previous gyms because they were intimidating! I love that the trainers circulate during class to offer encouragement and cues to help you improve your form when needed. The workouts are carefully planned and you can ask your trainer for modifications if needed. I love seeing my progress over time. I’m excited to see what I can accomplish in year 2!

This gym is exactly what I was looking for. It offers different types of strength training classes in a challenging and motivating environment. The class sizes are perfect, allowing trainers to check your technique while maintaining the energy of a group setting. The focus is on strength, but it also includes functional training, balance practice, explosive power training, and cardiovascular work. One of their social media posts mentioning "no fluff" is spot on. This gym isn't for everyone—if you like to be on your phone and leave without breaking a sweat, this isn't the place for you. But if you're serious about your training and health, it's the best gym I've found in the area.

I did personal training with Rachel for over a year now, and I have gained so much confidence in my ability to do safe and effective lifting! Excellent atmosphere! Realistic workouts for the individual looking for their best fitness for their own individual ability rather than unsafe workouts. Excellent Coaches who truly strive for evidence based and healthy fitness. I’ve done so many other group fitness classes and have not seen as much progress as I have at Foundation Fitness. I’ve been going there a little over a year, and I feel like I’ve gotten stronger than I ever thought I could. I feel healthier, and I generally just feel more confident around exercising and what to do in a gym setting. The workouts make sense; nothing overly complicated or intimidating yet still very very effective and functional. The trainers are super helpful and nice; I’ve learned so much from them. Foundation always has a great environment to be in. Whether you are new to group fitness, experienced or you book class when your schedule allows (occasionally) you are always welcome. The trainers are invested in your safety and fitness progress. I can’t recommend FF enough - we tell all our friends to join.

I have been going to foundation for 4 months now and all I can say is wow. I have seen a big change in my body. What I have been trying to obtain for body goals at a regular gym for yearsI have achieved at foundation in four months . The way they program the workout isn’t based of what the trainer or owner what’s to work on for themselves it’s based off what they know their members need and goals they want to achieve. They listen watch and put out the best of the best . I have never felt this confident before . I’m so happy I dropped by and joined. If you are looking for a non competitive environment where everyone wants to see you succeed and where you can achieve your goals foundation fitness is where its at.

Friendly gym with coaches that know what they are doing and take the time to make sure everyone is participating at the level they should be at. Coaches are always checking form to prevent injury and give modifications when needed. Upbeat staff with awesome music, just a great place to be!

Walking into any gym can be intimidating, but as soon as you enter the doors at Foundation it’s like walking into a friends house. Everyone (staff and members) is so friendly, helpful, and encouraging. I started out just training with josh thinking it would be short term thing learning how to do things properly and now I’m hooked on the FIT classes along with my 1:1 training with josh. I cannot recommend this place enough! Josh, Rachel, and all the staff are seriously amazing!
