I’ve been at Crossfit West Nashville for 4 months. I’ve been doing CrossFit for 8 years. My husband and I are deep crossfitters. I have been to 4 gyms before this. Then I spent two years doing CrossFit out of my garage. So I’ve experienced a lot of variations of CrossFit.
I had high expectations for a gym and I have been completely surprised by the way that CFWN not only met every single expectation but far surpassed them. I did a lot of reading on their site and research of this gym and other potential gyms. I love that this gym does their own programming and is very dialed into the needs of their members.
They make it impossible to fail at this gym. All you have to do is show up consistently and try. They offer a free 30 minute focus session per month. Something I’ve never seen offered before. This will help when a member has a specific goal to learn a new movement or improve on something they’re not doing well at.
They have unlimited options for class types and times. They offer both CrossFit and CrossHiit. As well as a lifting class and a class for 50+ year olds. They also offer childcare and a class on Sunday!
It’s like they thought of every single possible hurdle one might have to get fit and they made it not a hurdle.
I’ve never experienced a staff that wanted to genuinely help each member become their fittest selves in my life. They are so utterly devoted to improving your health and fitness. Just show up consistently, try your best, and be coachable. That’s all it takes.
They offer help with nutrition too. The members are absolutely amazing and come from all walks of life and every stage of fitness.
The coaches are dialed into every single member. In every single class. 4 months in, they still help cue and correct some of my old habits in movements. Previous gyms start off correcting but get lazy. The coaches at CFWN realize it’s habit and they want me to move well so they care to reiterate it for me. I so appreciate this and never want someone to stop coaching me.
Other gyms I’ve been to are lazy in coaching and allow poor form which really hurts the members long term. I have never had a negative experience at this gym, it has genuinely made me a happier, stronger, healthier person!

“Unmatched Community, Coaching, and Care — CrossFit West Nashville Sets the Standard!” My wife and I attended CrossFit West Nashville for over three months and absolutely loved it! The community feels like family, the coaches are highly knowledgeable, and they go above and beyond to care for each member’s overall health. One of my favorite aspects is that we often found the coaches joining classes when they were not coaching - it really felt like a family even among the coaches. We also appreciated their efforts to keep costs low with creative solutions, making it one of the most affordable crossfit gyms around. The programming balanced smart scaling with challenges for athletes on either end of the fitness spectrum, and the childcare made it possible for us to train together. Anyone would be hard-pressed to find a gym that is as competent and cares more about its people than this one!

Great gym, clean and super friendly. I was a drop in and will definitely work out there again when I come to visit my best friend in Nashville. I've been to many Crossfit gyms across the country and this is definitely in the top 3. Highly recommend.

I have never been big into fitness. I have acknowledged its health benefits, but over the last decade or so, after trying Couch to 5K, Classes at the YMCA, and countless other activities, nothing ever stuck. Like many others, the pandemic led weight gain and decreased movement to the point where it was difficult to carry laundry up stairs.
Per the recommendation or a orthopedist (crazy, right?), I tried out CrossFit and joined CFWN. I have gone from struggling to do laundry and get out of bed at 7am, to religiously waking up at 5:30am with energy and excitement to workout at CFWN. Two factors for these feelings:
1) The coaches are genuinely passionate and caring about your fitness journey and do everything to motivate you.
2) The coaches and members have created a community that is supportive and loving. I never feel like I am not doing good enough because someone is cheering me on.

I was new to CrossFit before I went to CrossFit West Nashville. The coaches have been great at helping me learn new skills and encouraging me on my overall health and fitness journey. The programming is dynamic and a nice balance of competitive/challenging while also catering to all fitness levels. Owner and coach Rob cares a lot about the community and is very intentional with each member, his programming, and the quality of equipment. The community here has been awesome - everyone is so encouraging and always building each other up. Great people to start or end the day with.

I’ve been a member for 5+ years and this place has changed my life! The coaches care, listen and work with you to make sure you get the best out of yourself and the programming. I came in @ 40 with chronic knee pain and arthritis and the swelling and pain has decreased significantly because of scaled strength training catered to fit my situation.
Always a fun environment but gets serious when it comes down to fitness. Rob, Sarah and Marc make sure your form is on par and offer a ton of scaled options so we are successful in hitting our goals. Whether you’re looking to compete or maintain a healthy lifestyle this is these coaches are here to help!

What an amazing community. The coaches pour their heart and souls into helping each individual athlete achieve their personal goals, whether it be pushing the envelope for competitions or supplanting a healthy lifestyle. So, back in January of 2020 I messed up my feet big time on a trip to Orlando. 4 days, 4 theme parks, sun up till closing. My feet were done for. Never recovered. As a nurse I felt crippled. Everyone around me was suggesting surgery, acupuncture, various kinds of manipulation, etc, etc. In June 2021 I started personal training with Rob and 6 months later it’s as though I grew a new pair of feet! It was a miracle. He knew exactly how to help me! He is phenomenal! Every trainer at CrossFit West Nashville is beyond amazing!
Now, my entire family goes there, including my mom.
If you’re still thinking about it, go for it, you can always quit… I doubt you’ll want to though!

The community here is unbeatable, the coaching is precise and helpful, and the programming is second to none. Working out at Crossfit Syndicate has revolutionized my athleticism. I've lost over 30 lbs. in a the year and a half I've been there, added 30 lbs. to my bench, 40 lbs. to my squat, and 50 lbs. to my deadlift. My mobility as increased which has decreased my chronic joint pains that have plagued me for several years. The coaches are knowledgeable, encouraging, and willing to push you to your limits. I go to the 5 AM class, and it's by far the most fun class ever. Come join us!

This place is awesome!! Amazing coaches, great atmosphere, and welcoming for all fitness abilities. At first I just enjoyed the 45 minutes of Crossfit provided by the great promgramming, and now I can't make myself leave before staying late for cardio and coming early to try and set a PR.

I walked into Crossfit Syndicate a year ago not being able to lift 35lbs over my head. A year later I'm now lifting weight I never imagined I could and getting in the best shape of my life. The coaching and programming at Crossfit Syndicate are top notch! The coaches here are patient and truly care about your progress. The people and friendships I've made here are irreplaceable. I ended up moving to East Nashville and almost switched boxes for convenience. I ultimately decided that Crossfit Syndicate was the best for me, despite the commute! Best decision I ever made!

I highly recommend Crossfit Syndicate. The coaching and community are my favorite things about this gym. I joined about nine months ago with zero experience or knowledge of how to do crossfit, or even get a good workout, but despite that I felt that I was immediately accepted by everyone. The coaches are very patient and knowledgeable as teachers, they are good at making sure you stay safe while at the same time motivating you to push yourself. I've made so much progress with my fitness goals that would not have been possible had I not discovered this gym; that combined with all the friends I've made here have made joining one of the best decisions of my life!

I have loved my time at crossfit syndicate! The coaches are excellent and community is even better. Their oly class has really helped me get better at my lifts!! The coaches have been really great about helping me pick appropriate scaling options but also encouraging me to push myself through each work out and get better!! Weather you are an overweight desk jockey like me, or a Division 1 athlete Crossfit Syndicate has the program for you. When I walked in on my first day I was expecting to feel intimidated and overwhelmed by the people and the program. However that insecurity and apprehension was immediately swept away by the great community of members and staff.
Everyone was so welcoming and encouraging, the level of attention provided by the staff far exceeded my expectations. They know that all of the movements and acronyms are foreign to most people, that being said, at CFS they put proper technique and form far above the number of lbs. on the bar.
All workouts are scaled or modified to your ability. The staff watches and learns where your strengths and weakness are, they make recommendations designed to tailor your work out to you, not to hold everyone to the same standard or set one goal. All athletes are different, with different mobility issues, chronic knee issues or shoulder issues, (all of which I have), all workouts are designed to push you to your personal best.
The community of athletes and staff at CFS are what keep me coming back day after day. Truly a great experience. I have been a member for 6 months and in that time I have made great strides in my personal fitness level. I'll never be an Iron-man competitor because lets face it I love beer and pizza way to much for that, however I feel better on a daily basis and I believe the community at CFS has sparked what will be a life long commitment to being healthier (within reason). And with that I thank you all at CFS for encouraging me to be better than I was yesterday.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It reminds me of the tv show "Cheers". You walk in and everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came! It's the friendliest bunch of crossfitters on the planet. All ages, sizes and ethnicities are represented here. The programming is always varied and always challenging. I'd never set foot in a crossfit gym before coming here and now I can't imagine going anywhere else.

I have been going to Crossfit Syndicate just under a year and I was hooked the first time I walked in. The fist time I walked in each person introduced themselves to me and everyone was extremely friendly which helped calmed my nerves. The coaches ensure that technique and form are taught first and continually pushing us to become better. If you are a member they offer free Olympic lifting classes to help master some of the tougher lifts (clean, snatch). The programming is amazing and I am constantly increasing in weights and decreasing the time it takes to complete a workout. My experience here has been amazing and have made great friends that I would'nt have walking into a traditional gym. Thank you Crossfit Syndicate!!!

I highly recommend CrossFit Syndicate. I joined the gym a little over a year ago and have never looked back. It was probably one of the best decisions that I made. The members and trainers of the gym are some of the friendliest people I have met and want to see you achieve your fitness goals. I look forward to going every day. A big thing for me was that the trainers are very focused on you lifting properly so that you don't injure yourself. All in all this is a great place if you want a friendly atmosphere and want to achieve your fitness goals.

I have never experienced such a caring, intelligent, challenging, or fun environment. CrossFit West Nashville goes beyond the typical CrossFit box. They genuinely care about each athlete (something I never thought I'd be called) and their progress, both in the gym and out. Each member of the coaching staff has excellent experience and knowledge, which they bring to every workout and WOD. Need something modified? Not a problem. Afraid to try something new? They'll give you a push to get out of your comfort zone and still have fun. Do you need to know what you should be eating, or have questions about nutrition. They've got that on lock!
The camaraderie of the athletes also keeps me coming back. It's not just people working out, it's a family. I can't imagine myself ever going anywhere else.

As bike shop owners we lead group rides and training events all spring and summer, this requires more strength than we can achieve just by riding. About 3 years ago we found CrossFit West Nashville, the coaches and the programs have become an essential part of our training, especially in the off season. The improvement in our overall core strength has made a big difference in our cycling skills. Without the training we receive from CrossFit West Nashville we'd be at the back of the pack instead of the front. We recommend them to all of our customers, recreational cyclist and racers alike.

I would never have guessed that I would end up part of a crossfit family. I never considered myself athletic yet the coaches at CFWN knew the balance of encouraging, affirming and pushing. They have empowered me to do more than I ever imagined possible. CFWN has been a game changer for me physically, nutritionally and mentally.
I pass three other crossfit gyms to get to CFWN. The expertise and care of the coaches as well as the support and camaraderie of the members are what makes CFWN stand out.

I've worked out at a number of CrossFit (CF) boxes since becoming introduced to CF in 2006. Each gym has its pros and cons, but CrossFit West Nashville (CFWN) is exactly what I was looking for in a gym. The programming is excellent, the work outs are challenging, but won't kill you, the coaches truly care and the community is very supportive and friendly. I've been a member since 8/12 and will continue to drive past 3 other boxes to get to CFWN.
If you are considering CF and are in the Nashville area, you have got to try CFWN.
