I am really upset that my wife was mistakenly charged an additional $350 over a MONTH ago for Personal training, and she has been getting the run around ever since with NO REFUND! This is crazy! They said it was issued, so she waited weeks. When she FINALLY got to speak to a manager, they said it was labeled as “issued in cash” by a PT manager who had just quit! That’s not our problem! Where is our money?!!!!

The staff are nice. I don’t use the equipment. I only go there to tan and the Hydro massage. Every time I go to a tanning bed, it’s always dirty never cleaned after the last person. The staff needs to clean it after each use. It’s pretty disgusting. That’s the reason why I even go to the gym at all just for tanning. I feel like I need to just cancel my membership because the upkeep is not good.

Had a guy chasing me down to tell me I hadn’t checked in. Once I told him I checked in, but forgot my backpack, ran out to my car and right back in that still wasn’t good enough. I understand securing the house, as he used to reference what he was doing, but I did find it offensive that my word was completely disregarded.

I am so disappointed in this place. I loved it so much when I started. However, it is going downhill quickly. It’s nasty, the restrooms are neglected and there is no one to reach out to for unresolved matters. There has literally been feces on the wall for months! When you try to call corporate, it just says, “This number is not monitored.” And, good luck trying to catch a manager. I know this location is thought of as a “bad area” but, I don’t want to think we are being underserved due to location. We are paying the same rates as everyone else. Please take better care of your members.

Eli at the front desk is so kind, he’s helped me multiple times with various small issues I’ve had and he’s just so patient and easygoing. Coming through the front desk to check in and seeing him always smiling with a friendly hello is always a positive experience to start my gym session. I only see him briefly each day, but he’s always so nice and courteous! Adore him!

The gym is clean and spacious and all the machines I’ve used are in working order and are maintained well. I feel safe here and everyone has been polite.

Daniela is my trainer and I adore her. She’s met me where I’m at and pushes me where I need it. She’s super understanding, flexible, welcoming, and fun. Can’t recommend her enough if you want a trainer who will try to understand you as a person and tailor the sessions to get the results you want but help you feel comfortable along the way. Love her!

I’ve never been to a crunch fitness before, but since it was close to home, I thought I’d give it a try with my ClassPass. I’m just starting to get back into shape so I’m very out of practice. If I take an hour class, I feel every minute of it. The yoga class I took with Andria was so encouraging and helped me really focus on perfecting my form. I got into a good flow and by the end of class, I hadn’t even realized an hour had passed. I left feeling so excited to take another class and without the crick that’s been sitting in my lower back for months. The facilities too were nice and accommodating. The gym was filled with people but it was a really nice environment that didn’t feel intimidating. If you’re wanting to start a fitness journey close to home, consider this your sign.

Extremely RUDE personal trainer. Still in shock at what just occurred at Crunch priest lake. I was in the group fitness room doing a quick warm up at 8:57am. A personal trainer came in, i didn't pay much attention. I was in the middle of a set with my headphones in when he waved his hand in my face and asked if I was participating in class. I said no, but checked the time to see that there was a couple minutes left before the class would start, so I had time to finish up and leave. However, the personal trainer got up in my face, put his hand in my face and started yelling "GOODBYE! GOODBYE! GET OUT! YOU NEED TO LEAVE! GOODBYE!!" like a total psychopath! I said "excuse me? You're extremely rude" to which he continued yelling "GOODBYE! GOODBYE!" Like I was a dog. There were other people present which made it that much more embarrassing. I asked his name, he said Marquis.

After this I waited for management to arrive at which time I explained the situation, and said I either wanted an apology or wanted to cancel my membership immediately.

A man was there who was apparently in charge of personal training, who advised me to wait while he gathered Marquis side of the story. Marquis then came to the front desk and said he "does not care and is not apologizing"

At this point I had management cancel my membership immediately.

Ive worked with the public my whole life, and have never worked for a company in which I could yell "GOODBYE! GOOODBYE! GOODBYE" in a customer's face, regardless of the situation. This could have been handled so many other ways. For example, Marquis could have said "excuse me, we are having a class in a few minutes and we need to use the room." Or, he could have said "hey we are having a class in a few minutes, if you'd like to join and try it out I can get you signed up."

Still cant believe the level of unprofessionalism, this should never happen in a business that depends on paying members.

My advice to Marquis is to lose the ego and learn how to deal with the public. I suspect his lack of tact and professionalism is the reason he only had ONE person in his class.

Do better!

And since my membership is canceled, GOODBYE! GOODBYE! GOODBYE!

I arrived at the gym 30 mins before closing to get a workout and some guy who works there not in any uniform went up to my car to tell me that I was lucky because he was about to close the doors when they close at 12am. He said I had 20 minutes when I had 30 mins. I assured him I would be out by 12:00 am. Then while I was exercising in the heated room. I noticed all the lights were off in the gym at 11:53 pm. I then exited the building. If your gym says open until 12 that should be the case. The worker was in his car when I left the gym. This is not the first time the closer wants to close the doors early or turn off all the lights early. Great gym but this was a bad experience.

Excellent staff, youthful employees, and athletic GenX/GenZ professionals as patrons. Frosted glass on showers coupled with 360° backlit mirrors with paper reducing heat sources. Water pressure in shower could be neuter and slower nozzle to turn it on/off has been missing on one of the showers for a month and a half.

I was already prepared to join Crunch Fitness prior to visit, but the experience made it a no brainer! Erick, Eli, Dawson, and Daniela were awesome and so helpful! Gym exceeded expectations, with an abundance of equipment, weights, and space…very nice!! With a $30/month membership I also get access to fitness classes, hydro massage, sauna, and a 4 hour personal trading consult, among other things…I’m sold and joined. I recently signed up for a Crunch fitness membership. As part of the membership they offer 1 free personal training session. After the personal training session and a sales pitch, I agreed to do the personal training. I signed a contract for 12 weeks with 1 personal training session a week at a rate of 45.00 a week. I was advised at the time I set up the contract that it is on auto renewal and I would need to come in and speak with a manger to cancel. Today I reach out to the facility to ask when the manager would be available. I was advised at 1:30pm today. I go to the gym at 1:25pm and ask for the personal training manager. The guy at the counter advised the manager was not there. I refreshed his memory that he and I spoke earlier and he told me the manager would be there at 1:30pm. He recalled the conversation and went and got the manager. She came out and spoke with me and attempt to tell me I needed to try the personal training for 3 months and then come back and cancel it if I don’t like it. I ask her to show me in the contract where it states that and she was not able to do so. I want to reiterate that I was not trying to cancel my current contract. I was only trying to cancel the auto renewal that would automatically occur following my current contract. I was willing to ride out the current contractual agreement, but am not interested in future personal training with Crunch fitness beyond the current contract . The manager again tries to get me to come back closer to the end of the contract to cancel the auto renewal. I feel like the manager was trying to give me the run around and delay the cancelation hoping I would forget or they would tell me the manager is not available as they attempted to today. I told her I can see this is a very inconvenient process to cancel and I was not leaving without canceling the auto renewal today. Then I said if I have to pay the current contract in full today I will, but I want the auto renewal cancelled today. At that point she agreed to cancel. I paid the remainder of the current contract and cancelled the automatic renewal of any future contracts. I should not have had to paid my current contract in full to cancel the automatic renewal. No where in their contract does it state that. I’m making this post so others are aware of the hassle it is to cancel a personal training auto renewal contract. This whole experience has left a bad impression and I’m thinking about leaving the gym all together. When I verbalize this to the manager she said you would need to give a 30 day notice and pay the final month in advance as well to cancel the membership. BE AWARE OF THIS GYM ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO CONTRACTS. Also know that this gym is a franchise and not corporate owned. You will only be referred back to the gym by corporate.

Review for Crunch Fitness

I've been enjoying my experience at Crunch Fitness overall! The atmosphere is welcoming, and the variety of equipment keeps my workouts engaging. I do wish my home gym utilized the Crunch-O-Meter function, which tracks how many people are in the gym—it’s a great tool for choosing the best time to work out.

That said, I would love to see some additional equipment, like a back extension machine and another hip abduction machine, added to the gym. Also, while I appreciate the number of tanning rooms available, it's a bit disappointing that there’s no sauna. Perhaps one of those rooms could be converted into a sauna for some relaxation after workouts.

Overall, Crunch Fitness has been a great gym for me, and I look forward to seeing these improvements in the future!

I loved this gym it was full of motivation. My emotions had me in distress and this gym removed the burden of my stress in one workout with their beautiful staff and their beautiful uplifting personalities. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Their cancellation policy is incredibly frustrating and intentionally inconvenient. I’ve tried canceling over the phone and have sent countless cancellation request emails. The bottom line is: you can’t cancel over the phone or via email—you must go in person. But even then, cancellations can only be processed by a manager, and the manager doesn’t work night shifts.

I went in person several times to cancel my membership. Each time, I was told only the manager could do it. I asked the staff to escalate my request, and they assured me it would be taken care of. Instead, I was charged again the next week—both an annual fee and another monthly membership fee just two weeks later.

Now I’m being told I’ll have to pay to cancel it—even after all this.

Don’t fall for the $1 down promotion. It may seem like a good deal at first, but it will cost you far more in time, stress, and money. 😞

I really love CJs classes. He is very personable and knows the names of long his attendees, helps with make sure everyone has the proper equipment, and the workout itself is great.

Also want to mention that hand sanitizer machines the last couple weeks haven’t had any sanitizer in them other than the one in the workout studio. I went today and didn’t check but figured they were all still out again. I bring my own sanitizer now.

I really like this gym. A great mix of different kinds of equipment. The staff is nice. Worst cancellation process ever at priest lake serous don’t go to this gym if you don’t plan on fighting with staff every week to cancel your membership or plan on leaving with moving back home I was not able to go in to cancel my membership or send a letter do to travel no one at all seems to care even when you speak to the GM all the want is to give you a run around and keep charging you

After numerous phone calls stating that I was moving back home i finally was able to send the authorized mail out and then was asked to send a license or a utility bill in which the utility bill is not in my name and a license won’t be in for weeks, I had also talked to another gym about transferring the membership to help me cancel over the phone seemings this gym will not cancel their members over the phone. Which they were going to do and where happy to help with but Priest Lake Crunch never sent my transfer information over even when I called and asked them to send my transfer information over.
During the procedure of trying to cancel, I had asked for my signed agreement term and contract that would state that they would need identification or a utility bill and when threatened legal action. They had cut ties with communication instead of just sending me my contract agreement they told me to just look it up in my email.. which it was never there or sent to me and now will not send me my contract to show me that I need to send identification or a utility bill. Just to add to this the letter is literally signed and stamped from a post office that is near my now home. Been trying to cancel for months now And I’m extremely disappointed in the customer service and quality of customer care employees are treating member when canceling

Crunch Fitness’ actions demonstrate a clear lack of commitment to supporting parental wellness and equitable access to fitness. This gym has been a huge disappointment from day one. Let me start by saying the facility is never clean — equipment is always sweaty, bathrooms are gross, and it feels like nobody on staff is responsible for sanitizing anything. The lack of hygiene is honestly unacceptable, especially for a gym.

The staff turnover is ridiculous. Trainers get let go constantly, and there’s zero consistency in programming or communication. I also never received the “free T-shirt” that was promised when I signed up. When I asked about it, no one had any answers. It’s like nobody there knows what’s going on.

They advertise childcare and a sauna & neither of which exist at this location. If you’ve ever been to other Crunch gyms like the ones in Murfreesboro or Hendersonville, you’ll be shocked by how much this one is lacking in comparison.

The only reason I’ve stayed this long is because of Gina and CJ’s classes. They’re amazing instructors and bring energy and professionalism that this gym desperately needs. But honestly, they’re not enough to make up for how poorly this place is run. I’ll be canceling my membership and heading to TruFit.

He's super knowledgeable on how the human body works and has helped me get stronger by adjusting form that used to be painful and strengthening muscles I've never worked before. Overall I've lost fat and gained muscle which was my goal. Happy to continue!

CJ is a knowledgeable and friendly group exercise, instructor and trainer. I've gotten a lot stronger in the last couple of months working with him, and I'm less susceptible to injury, because he makes sure I stay safe and keep my form correct.

Good Gym to workout at terrible management. Took a month to cancel my membership it was to far from my house. How about you can’t cancel online when you call the gym only a manager can cancel good luck getting one of them answer to cancel. I did a month to month don’t matter they took it anyways had to pay for another month and the annual fee. I couldn’t cancel until I paid another month. They really are not good at getting back to you if you cancel my advice be careful signing up with them. I plan on going to a gym closer to me.

Have a great selection of machines, if you come after 6 good luck trying to get a bench for dumbbells. Seems to be extremely crowded but only been at the evening hours so can’t speak for the morning. Definitely surprised by the many different brands of machines and multiple of the same workout different brand.

I’ve been consistently going to this location for about a year now. Friendly staff, great trainers, and finally, a place that isn’t always tempting you by broadcasting ‘The Food Network’ everyday. Being honest, not always the cleanest place. Cleanliness is ignored in the male locker room which is the only reason I’m not giving 5 stars. Now, if you’re looking to improve your overall fitness and health in the most diabolical way, look for Ben. They hide the best ones alllll the way in the back. Go check them out when you visit. I hope this helps : )
