Flex Fitness is a wonderful local gym. Super clean, well kept, and has a very welcoming vibe. The equipment is in great shape, the space feels homey, and you can tell the owner truly cares about the gym and the people who come in. Love supporting a spot with real community energy. I had so much fun going to this gym, the fact that they had free weights and heavy bags was a huge plus for me, I have to say what stood out the most to me was the hospitality I received, I actually felt connected with the community there and every day I left that place l felt weight lifted off of my shoulders 💪🏽

I was a treadmill walker at home for many years somewhat sporadically. My treadmill bit the dust and I was faced with decision to make another purchase or join a gym. At almost 60 yrs old, I had my reservations on a gym membership but decided to give it a try. The experience has been exceptional!!! I am more motivated than ever before and have not missed a single day. The gym is immaculate and atmosphere is peaceful. I have been so impressed that I upgraded to family plan so wife could enjoy as well. Why didn't I do this sooner? Would highly recommend to everyone

Flex fitness, a great place to train, lift, workout with friends(gym bros). I have been working out at Flex fitness for many years and have met many amazing, motivational people there. Flex fitness is a great facility with a hometown feel to it. I’ve been a member for the past 7 years and the facility is very clean and well maintained. The staff which is headed by “Q” are very knowledgeable about each piece of equipment and the pro’s and cons from the usage of the equipment.that are available at the facility. I have known Q. since I met him in 2015-16. I was sent to him and approached him about training me and retraining me physically. I was dealing with health issues that had limited me and darkness was glooming. I sat down with him and we discussed everything that was going on physically and mentally. Q., first showed himself friendly and then he gave me a layout and a plan and after accepting everything the work started. I learned Q., overtime during training and working out that he was not only a physical speciman himself but he was stern, direct, honest and he was and still is a Spiritual Brother. He just didn’t train my body but he trained my mind also. He encouraged me when it tough and that voice in your head said enough/quit, Q., would say, Steve-O, come on give me a little bit more and it was in such a loving manner, you had to push yourself and he always laughed and smiled. Q., know how to encourage, lift you up, laugh and talk with you, teach health, teach wealth, and he’s a Brother that will help you with life. I know God placed Q., in my path and in my life during a tough season but I realized it wasn’t just for that season, it was for life. Everybody is not called to do what Q., can do because he is not just a trainer but he is a life coach. Q., don’t ever change who you to please others just stay on course and continue to do the work of God and continue to make boys to men.

Flex Fitness is like my home away from home! This is the most inviting and friendliest gym I have ever been to. A lot gyms will make you feel intimidated but here I have never felt that way. Marquis aka Q is the best trainer ever! I have been doing personal training with him for almost 2 years now and I am in the best shape of my life! I went to him with my goals and he has been right beside me and encouraged me every step of the way! I have been down on my health for quite a while, most recently a serious issue with my back and siatic nerves on my left side. When I asked my family they all recommended Q at Flex fitness. My daughter has taken classes with him and so had my wife. He helped my mother when she needed to get healthy prior to a surgery. Now he is helping me and is doing a great job, and you're not going to find a nicer or more experienced guy in physical fitness. Brownsville, Tn. Location.

Very nice facility with a variety of free weights, weight machines and treadmills. It also has a tanning booth, men's and women's saunas, and offers yoga and other exercise classes. The real attraction is the warm and friendly atmosphere. Q, the owner, makes working out fun while at the same time producing results. With Q's skilled training I added over 15 pounds of muscle, got in the best shape of my life, and successfully completed the 2024 15K Tough Mudder in Nashville. Just go to a gym somewhere else.

It's a good concept, but it is terribly managed. I mean, I'm a casual gym member, but half of the treadmills did not go over 5 mph. I would happily pay the $30/month if the one thing I use there worked, but it doesn't. Additionally, when I expressed why I was leaving to the person who appears to be in charge he asked my reason. I told him the above and he replied, "Well, those first two are walking treadmills." Which I know is incorrect for two reasons: 1. They are all the same, and 2. I have ran on them before in 2023. Also, what the other person said about the cancellation is true...it's terrible. They don't even track their own billing and you have to call a third-party company to cancel it. They asked why and then asked for proof as if that was going to make my cancellation hit any better. Actually, I'm typing this while I'm on the phone with the billing company and it's a nightmare.

TL;DR: 50% of treadmills work as they should, and billing company is separate entity. Just go to a larger gym.

Trying to leave this gym due to a move is like trying to get out of a bad divorce. I travel for work. I have been gone from brownsville for over 3 months and they still wont cancel my membership. I have sent my paystub and my bank statement. I live out of a suitcase so i dont have any bills. They need to change the contract. Keeping customers locked into a contract is not right, especially the way prices are today. Its like throwing away 60 dollars a month because im not there anymore lol… very bad customer service after you leave…
