This gym is a joke. Management tells members they will get membership cancelled when members ask but never does and sends account to collection. You email them to cancel, they say come in in person. You come in in person and feeds you a line of BS. Run fast from this place as they are not worth you money or hassle. Go to LIFT to get a better experience.

Trainers, I signed a contract very poor experience, I had 3 trainers in 4 months because they could not fulfill their duties, I only received 1 workout plan and the 2nd trainer (Danny)never came to class and used her workout plan cause he was to busy to do his, Danny would not come to class $240 not his problem as long as there is a contract, last trainer changed gyms, Jeffrey messaged me for a 4th wanted to up my classes when they are not responsible enough to come one day a week, I feel very disrespected and cheated. He tried to put words into my mouth to make me pay more with no trainer. You should never beg for money when you have no quality trainers that don't show up, gym equipment is great though

Ive been having problems with getting my session to train. They don’t communicate at all and when I always have to send a payment when I haven’t trained with anyone. They messed up my payments as I was trying to pay and still have heard back about that. I’m trying get all my money back.

I wish they would update some of the dumbbells and benches, as they are very worn. Same with some of the equipment, the padding needs replaced. My only other pet peeve is that it’s hard to find clips, and that can be a big safety hazard. But I’m just going to bring my own going forward.

Great workout space. Friendly staff that is super accommodating. Only thing I would change is members policing their children and/or not teaching them gym etiquette and safety. I understand wanting to get your children active, but children need to be taught not to try to squeeze by people with hundreds of pounds in their hands or running between machines. Not a major obstacle but still noticeable at certain hours.

Was given a tour by one of your Trainers named Ethan Ross. He was very knowledgeable and said he was here to help. He said to ask anything there were no dumb questions. If I needed a spot to get him. He also told me he was available for one on one training and explained the packages for that. I would recommend him and you to anyone.

Something they don’t tell you when signing up is the daycare only allows 12 kids at a time. Its a challenge to get in to the gym to work out and even use the memberships.

A lot of the equipment is torn and needs to be replaced. I’m honestly tired of people coming in half naked, not wearing shoes while lifting weights is definitely a big safety and hazard issue getting shocked by the treadmill because people stole the chargers off the end and there’s exposed wires is also another issue we will Be canceling our membership soon, which is a family membership. I really wouldn’t recommend anybody going here.

Went in several times to cancel my membership and they always tell me the manager isn’t there. I live an hour and a half away so it’s really out of my way to come and cancel. Also, the lady working the front desk was just looking at her phone and when I came in and I finally had to say something to get her attention. After coming in again later when she told me the manager would be back (but wasn’t) I asked if there was any other way for me to cancel. She just said “no” but thankfully the man working told me I could email. He was very polite but the dark haired lady working Friday afternoon needs to learn some customer service skills.

A day pass at this establishment is now 25$, and I’ve been informed now that they go up on membership price every year. I’d understand the price increases if new equipment was added, I have been coming over a year to this gym. There’s nothing new added, not even attachments. I wouldn’t be opposed to price increases, if there was some improvements, which there hasn’t been since I been going here. I would suggest everyone look into the surrounding gyms, maybe they don’t increase membership prices “just cause”. D180 is a local gym here, 1440 is also one two ATCs gyms also. For golds to be the epitome of gyms for all kinds of lifters this one is becoming a very pitiful one.

If I could rate the instructors and the group fitness classes alone, I would give it 5 stars, but since this is for the gym, as a whole, I’m giving it 3 stars. The group fitness class is filthy, I’m pretty sure the floor never gets vacuumed, let alone mopped. I have brought my own vacuum before, and I’m sure I will do it again. The ladies restroom is often out soap and paper towels in the dispensers. This past week, a soap dispenser was out of soap for at least 3 days. We have to go on an adventure to find a loose roll of paper towels just to dry our hands. The carpet in the childcare room is also filthy. It needs a deep clean or entirely new carpet.

I got the twice a week with a trainer. Mainly because Jack, the Fitness Manager, showed me new things and I’m interested in what all I can learn and how hard I can push myself in the upcoming months!
