The only downfall is you can only use those extra amenities when employees are on site and the hours they offer for that are quite limited but overall amazing for the price

This gym has been the best for the past 11 months I’ve been a member, the atmosphere is really cool, it’s super cost friendly, and it has everything you might need in a gym. It’s not very crowded which is a plus, and you rarely ever have to wait to use a machine or other exercise rack. Overall a perfect gym, and they are currently renovating it so it can only get better. 10/10 would recommend.

I visited for the first time with a friend recently. The staff was very welcoming. The facility feels like an old school NYC club. It has great recovery amenities, which is what really interested me. They have a sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, and small lap pool. The prospect of using a sauna each week is important to me. Some of the equipment is a little dated, but its still a great place to get strong and recover after.

Terrible facilities- half the equipment is broken, and they told me they had a pool when I joined but didn’t inform me that the heater in the pool would be broken indefinitely.

I dropped in for a Zumba®️ class with Lindsay Morgan. The day pass was $10, and the manager of the gym personally led me to the studio where class would take place. Lindsay is a top notch instructor who features great music and choreography with easy to follow cuing. I had fun and got a great workout. I highly recommend to anybody who loves Zumba®️ and finds themselves in the Nashville area.

Awesome family owned gym that is never too busy. I am able to go on a Friday evening and not have to worry about waiting on anything. There is a huge free weights section with just about any setup you'd need. They also have plenty of weighted machines and cardio equipment.

One of the major selling points for me was the hot tub. I'm not really a runner or swimming but there is an indoor running track (12 laps a mile) and an indoor heated pool.

Both the owners are super nice and helpful and will talk to you about anything you need.

As soon as I stepped into the building I felt uncomfortable. The atmosphere was very dull but the thing that made me and the group I was with uncomfortable was that everyone kept staring at us. Especially the girls in our group. One thing I found absolutely unacceptable and DISGUSTING was the fact that a man came into the men’s locker room completely undressed KNOWING there was a child in there and showing no decency to cover up and CONTINUED to walk around undressed. I wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYONE. Save your money and time and go somewhere else. Thank me later.

I joined Hermitage Fitness Center about a year and a half ago. I really enjoy the fact that they have a decent sized indoor lap pool and an indoor track. They also have a variety of weight machines and exercise equipment to help me mix up my exercise routines during the week. Most of all, the staff is very professional and courteous which is the main reason I will continue being a member here.

Ever since I have been a member of Hermitage Fitness I have gone through terrible harassment from members and staff included, and it looks like the reviews I am seeing here are from people that were paid and bribed to write good reviews about a terrible place like this I felt very uncomfortable with my 30 day suspension and I also feel uncomfortable with the fact that I was recorded without my consent and was told that an "Employee" of Hermitage Fitness got one of the members to record me when I was swimming in my bathing suit.I also want to bring up an occurring issue that has been happening for quite a while and I have been documenting it. When I press the doorbell to enter the fitness center nobody opens the door for me when i look through the window I can see the staff hanging around the fitness and when I press the doorbell to be opened they ignore me and refuse to open the door. I also want to inform others reading this that thanks to Hermitage Fitness and Their immaturity my membership was permanently cancelled which is totally fine by me because I’m not ready to pay that expense of amount of money just to go swim and work out and If your reading this and you're a member of that fitness center you are very welcome to save money by canceling your membership and finding a BETTER fitness center that doesn't judge according to skin color.

What a great place! So many great reasons to love it here at HFC, hard to choose where to start. The staff is amazing, if you're new to the gym scene no one could ask for a better staff. Personal trainners who give up their personal time for complementary consultations when you join. The rest of them are also willing to help, without that overwhelming stereotype of "high energy- based salesman. They make you feel like you're welcome not member # 7903! Hermitage Fitness Center is great for us lifting vets as well, so many great ways to lift here. Everything from old school to the new stuff too. The gym is large, has an adult free weight section, many cardio choices, weight and resistance equipment galore, a pool, steam room, sauna, and so much more. I've personally met many of the teachers of their many class, not a single one I wouldn't recommend. They offer an opportunity to meet new people, or not, while getting in a great work out. They've even installed saftey featurs for emergies, help is litterally a button- push away. So if you've made it this far in my novel, congrats! One a scale of 1 to 10 they get a 10, daily. Usually when im in town on leave, I go to golds gym. Golds charges 25 dollars a week. Hermitage charged me that much for a month long leave period. The employees were very friendly, and offered me the grand tour enthusiastically, and without me even asking first.

I'm not sure when these these other reviews were written but they are ridiculous. This place is by far the best gym in the area. The machines are older but they work just fine. The staff has been outstanding and extremely helpful. The place is clean and you never have to deal with the meatheads that you have at these other places. They have a nice pool, hot tub, and a wet and dry sauna that are always nice and clean. Top notch place in my opinion. When we moved away I tried other places and it just wasn't the same at all so I drove all the over there just to go. Don't hesitate to drop in and try it out.
