If I could give it 0 stars I would. The place itself was fine, normal yoga gym. Nothing to write home about. But the owner here was an absolute joke. Harassing me through texts and emails, you name it. She did it. I’ve successfully reported this chaos to the BBB.

Now for the details. I did a trial for free. In order to do the trail that required a signature. I’m assuming for safety reasons. You also had to purchase a $5 towel. I wanted to pay with cash but that form of payment wasn’t accepted. So I used my card. Workout itself is fine, watch a video and follow along. I could do that in my own sauna using YouTube for free. I leave and get home to find a $25.00 charge on my card. I call the gym and I’m unable to get ahold of anyone. A week later I’m getting charged hundreds of dollars. Opening an account, towel, cleaning service… my bill is almost of $300. I finally get ahold of her and she tells me I signed up for this and in order to cancel I have to make sure my account is at $0 and I have to pay $200 to close it. She then informs me, she gets paid on commission… IT MAKES SENSE! I NEVER signed a 2 YEAR MEMBERSHIP! Thankfully my bank was fully on board with this crap and I wasn’t ever charged a dime. I just hate that people can get taken advantage of so easily. They don’t care about you. Go watch yoga videos on YouTube at another gym for free. Anything is better than this place! Only plus side, I sold my $100 towel for $50 so I came out smelling like a rose!

I’ve been going to Hotworx for about three months, and overall, it’s been a good experience but I’ll be canceling my membership once my six-month commitment is up.

I really appreciate that the facility is always clean and well-maintained. The 24-hour access is a huge plus for me, since I usually go after staff hours. I feel safe, which is really important to me in any gym setting.

That said, there are a few things that haven’t worked so well for me. The volume controls for the sauna workouts are located on the ceiling, which makes them impossible to reach if you’re on the shorter side. Sometimes someone is around and I’m able to ask for help, but not always. Another thing that really bothered me when I first started working out at Hotworx, the TVs are mounted up on the sauna wall pretty high, and I had to strain my neck to follow along when I wasn’t familiar with the moves.

The workouts themselves were fun at first, but after a month or so, they started to feel a bit repetitive. I found myself feeling less and less motivated by following an instructor on a screen. To keep things fresh, I started doing my own workouts in the sauna, which helped, but ultimately I’ve realized I push myself more when there’s an instructor physically present.

I think Hotworx is a great option for people who are new to fitness or who feel intimidated in more traditional gym environments. The setup offers a lot of structure and privacy. Personally, I miss the in-person interaction and community feel I used to get at the Y.

Misleading and deceptive business practices. We were informed that cancelling a membership would require either a $99 fee for the account, or a two months notice. In reality, is $99 a person on the account, or three months payment, and an additional cancellation fee. You also must be in person to cancel your membership. I had to assist my chronically ill wife out of bed, use what very little time I have off, to drive out of our way to the original HOTWORX we had our memberships at in order to cancel them. Also had to pay $200 which is more than what we were informed. So the HOTWORX style of membership is a deceptive and misleading business practice in order to continue extracting money from your bank account as much as possible. We are reporting HOTWORX to the BBB, and informing everyone we know in the yoga community about their illegal business practices.

This is a great little place to workout. When I was there, it was staffed and I was the only customer. I did a 15 minutes workout, cycling with a virtual instructor in the sauna. This place is immaculately clean and the staff are very helpful. I would be happy to go again.

I love Hot Worx because of all of the classes available all day and night. Being able to bring a guest for free is a bonus too! The best thing about it is you are getting a full workout in less than half the time with calorie burn an hour after the workout ends. It’s easy, fun and any fitness level and any size person can do it!

So far I’m loving this workout platform and infrared sauna exercise. I feel so much better after and have been sleeping better as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

I have been coming for about 2 and a half months and I love it! The Hot Blast HIIT sessions are my favorite, and I’m also loving the Hot Barre None! My body is loving me for these workouts and so is my skin! 😀

This is by far the cleanest hotworx I’ve ever been to. Parking is super easy as well. I much prefer it to the other locations in the middle TN area. My only recommendation would be that they install a bottle filler on their water fountains for easier refills but that’s just being picky!

Ariana was friendly, personable and informative about the workout. Erric and I chose cycling for our first visit and it was incredible. 15 minutes had us drenched and challenged. We will be back.

Hotworx is AMAZING!! The staff members are friendly and knowledgeable. The equipment and gym are always clean, one of the cleanest I've been to. There are a lot of workout options from cycling to yoga and even some free weights. You won't get bored, there are so many options!!
