The fitness program at Iron Tribe is second to none. The Iron Tribe coaches developed a custom fitness program that focused on strengthening my knees following meniscus surgery. My quick recovery from surgery impressed my orthopedic surgeon who commented “your coach has designed an effective strengthening regime for you that exceeds my expectations”.
Since recovering from the surgery, we are now moving forward with additional fitness routines that have enhanced my stability and general health. Just committing to exercise three times per week has improved my strength, energy and mood overall.

Since joining, I’ve learned so much about how to push myself in the right ways and train smarter. My strength has increased significantly, and I’ve achieved physical results I didn’t think were possible. Really enjoying this gym regime . Great options of class times , don’t get bored with the cycles of exercises there is good variety . I like the feeling of getting stronger but can definitely take at my own pace being a total weight training beginner .The coaches are friendly even to us old people ! Not intimidating at all . Irontribe is a very effective fitness program. I have reduced my body fat from 20% to 14 % and significantly increased my muscle mass, strength, and mobility.

I have been a Prime member at Iron Tribe Belle Meade for 2 years and it was a great decision for me. I initially started on a 3 day program to get back into exercising, lose weight and gain strength after an injury. Personally, I need the direction and support to achieve fitness goals and Iron Tribe has not disappointed. The coaches are amazing and take time with each member to help develop a plan that best fits your needs and goals. The workouts evolve and change as you progress. Each coach has a unique style that makes them approachable and a cohesive unit. The other members are welcoming as well. Give it a try and you will not regret it. As a bonus, there is great music as well from TRL Tuesday to Rocky Friday and everything in between! Give them a call!

The best community and coaches! I have been a member for almost two years, and I have seen such an incredible shift in my mental and physical overall health. Well it all started about 6 years ago when my wife signed me up for a 101 class. To be honest, I really thought I’d just appease her and do it for a little while. I started going just a few days a week, and the. It got to the point where I didn’t want to miss working out.
When I say this place caused a whole shift in my behavior- I’m not kidding. The difference has been profound- and if you really want to get back in shape this place is where you should go.
I think back to the “previous me”, where I would workout a few days a week with no real plan and nothing was happening.
The real difference at ITF is you never have to plan your workouts, the coaches are awesome, and the members are a true community. The value is exceptional for what you pay here.
The hardest part is just making the decision to walk in the door. I wish I had done it sooner!

The best gym and workout I have ever done. The coaches are amazing and have helped me with my nutrition and fitness goals. The coaches are always there to help with proper form and skill. Update to this review: I had an injury requiring me to be in a tall walking boot for over 2 months and because of the outstanding coaches at Iron Tribe, I didn't miss a workout! They came up with creative, safe modifications so I didn't have to lose all the progress I had made. I just renewed my membership. You should check them out!
I highly recommend Iron Tribe Belle Meade! I recently moved to Nashville, left an awesome gym, and was worried I wouldn't be able to find a new gym to enjoy. After trying several, Iron Tribe was the best fit and 6 months in, I am still happy. From beginners to very fit members, everyone is welcome and the coaches/trainers are very accommodating to work with you at your fitness level. I love that it truly is fast and fun. I push harder with the Iron Tribe workouts than I would working out alone. I have been able to maintain, and actually improve my fitness level since starting at Iron Tribe. Check it out!

Iron Tribe Belle Meade adapted my work out so well when I had sprained my ankle and fractured it while out walking . Iron Tribe Fitness Belle Meade has been a game changer for me and my overall health. I started the 2023 calendar year with the need to self invest and wanted to get back in the gym after being away for more then 6 years. I needed something I could schedule, complete in under an hour, and would be effective and enjoyable as I balance family with two small kids and a busy career with travel. I love this place!! I have over 20 gyms closer to my house but I drive farther just to come to this gym. I have never been a person who likes to workout. I've been attending Iron Tribe Fitness in Belle Meade since the start of October 2021. It's been the best fitness experience I have had in a very long time. Justin, Jason, Daniel and Neil push you hard, helping with proper form, assist with nutrition advice, and ensure you're moving towards your goals. They are the exact right proportion of positive re-enforcement and discipline that I've required.
Justin has been a great personal coach as well, I'm always able to reach out with any questions I have, and to also let him know that I have concerns around my routine if it's not meeting my personal goals, or if I feel that my body isn't performing in the way that I want it to.
I have tried to recommended this gym to my co-workers and friends to help them get in shape.

I have a lot of crazy health issues but ITF Belle Meade keeps me moving forward! All the coaches and the community mindset are so motivating. We are all at different places in our fitness journey. For me, showing up and being able to participate is a huge win, even if it is just once or twice a week. I appreciate that they check in on me when I’ve been out too long to make sure I OK. The coaches have even sent me home workouts to help me after a health setback. It is the only fitness community that makes me want to be there more often, and I have tried a lot of other gyms and fitness programs as a former college athlete. Go all-in for a 6-week challenge and it will change your body, and maybe even your life!

I would highly recommend Irontribe to anyone of any fitness level, I started because my partner who is fit already loved his experience. I’m much the opposite, I’ve never touched a barbell before coming here and only gone to the gym casually a few times.
The most valuable thing I get out of going to Irontribe is the one on one guidance that gives me the confidence to know I’m doing the workout correctly. The Prime classes are well worth the cost, I’m seeing the results I wanted and my confidence is definitely growing. I don’t believe I would have ever gotten to the point I’m at, where I look forward to going to the gym, by going almost anywhere else. I had an opportunity to visit Iron Tribe Fitness -Belle Meade in October. Everyone, from members to coaches, were so welcoming. The format for the workouts is challenging with the coaches doing a walk through initially to explain/illustrate the movements. The willingness of the coaches to modify the workout to meet individual abilities was impressive and I appreciated their guidance and suggestions for me, especially as a visitor. Iron Tribe Belle Meade is the best. I love the format of a 45 minute workout - I feel like I can convince myself to do anything for 45 minutes. The coaches are amazing. Always encouraging and positive while making sure you have the correct form and providing accommodations if needed. They get to know each member and celebrate everyone’s achievements big or small.
I also love the community of people - we all look out for each other and hold each other accountable.

I am so happy to be able to recommend Iron Tribe Fitness Belle Meade with flying colors! I started at Iron Tribe at the beginning of summer and have been going ever since. I drove by everyday and finally made an appointment and I am so glad I did. I sat down with Justin and he explained how it works and what to expect. I chose a program called “Prime” that is perfect for me. I love the individual workouts that are tailored just for me and build upon what I do each week. I can feel myself getting stronger every day and have come to love working out. I never thought there would be a day where I would prioritize getting a workout to fit into my schedule. Justin also coaches me on my nutrition and is my biggest cheerleader to help me reach my goals. Halfway through the summer my 17 year old daughter asked me if she could start going, and after meeting with Justin, she signed up for the same program. We love being able to go together and I am so grateful that she has found a routine that she can take with her into college and her adult life. Through Iron Tribe she has developed an understanding of how to take care of her body and develop habits to be as healthy and strong as possible. We also love working with Jason. His big smile, wonderful personality and expert coaching make classes with him so much fun. He has a great way of explaining the exercises and how to get the most out of each one. He makes sure that everything is being done safely. I can honestly say that Jason and Justin have given me a love of exercise that I have not experienced before. Jason and Justin have been amazing trainers, they make themselves available 24/7. I had a difficult time adjusting my meals to meet my caloric intake and J&J would have me screen shot pictures of meals, text the pics to them, and then make adjustments and recommendations to tweak my eating so it was healthier but still delicious. Additionally, I have several injuries after serving in the armed forces for over 23 years, Jason ensures that my works-outs are manageable, and my goals are SMART. Both gentlemen push me while encouraging me, and in just six weeks I fit clothes I haven't been able to wear in years, I feel healthier, and experience less pain from my injuries because I have become stronger. After having a lumbar spinal fusion 10 years ago, I assumed my best years in fitness were behind me, but ITF proved me wrong. I’ve been a member since 2019. I’m stronger and my cardiovascular fitness is better today than it was 20 years ago when I was in high school and college. I’m able to perform more complex Olympic lifts and gymnastics movements than I ever thought possible.

I iron tribe is Feb 2021 after seeing a FB ad for their 6 week challenge. I was nervous about going to a high intensity function fitness class for the first time as I didn’t know the moves at all! But the staff were incredible welcoming and patient and very quickly I was hooked!
Now I’ve been a member for 7 months and I’m in the best shape I’ve been in for 10 years! I’ve lost weight,
Gained muscle and feel really good in my body. I can’t thank Iron Tribe enough. Oh - and I’ve met some really great people in the classes. And staff - Ryan (manager/head coach) and Sam (coach) are really great coaches and people.
I’ve found the group classes to be very challenging but very rewarding and it’s made me work out way harder than I would if I was doing it by myself at a gym somewhere. Love it! And I highly recommend this place. I’d never done this type of training before, now I’m going 5 times a week! And enjoying the diverse, functional nature of the exercises. Highly recommended :-)

There is a meal plan that will get you where you want to be. Yes, you may get tired of eating the same foods, I know that I did. If you work the plan, you will see results!!! I promise that.
I lost 8 pounds and gained muscle. I feel comfortable with lifting weights. I love going to the gym now. The routines are fun. And time moves fast there. My self confidence is high. I feel better about myself. My stomach is getting flatter. My thighs are getting firmer. My arms are getting toned.
That being said. I participated in a challenge. You will have to put money up front. This is to show you’re serious about the change. Yes, the gym membership is expensive, but worth it. The personalized attention from the coaches is worth the price. Most of all, we are a family there. You don’t have to feel like you don’t belong or feel intimidated at the gym. I just completed the 6 week challenge and am amazed at the results I saw from continual encouragement, planning meals, and strength training. I met the 6% body fat loss goal and gained 2lbs of muscle. I feel stronger and healthier from following their meal and exercise plan. The accountability to show up and keep going was what I needed to get motivated and see results. The coaches were fantastic, always ensuring the class is doing the moves in the correct way, as to not hurt ourselves and to get the most from every move. I was intimidated at first, but there are ways to scale all of the exercises and they do so willingly, knowing our bodies are all different. The only reason I didn't give 5-stars is that there was more than one occasion I felt expectations or costs weren't clearly communicated. Overall though, it's a great gym, great environment, great people. I would definitely recommend the 6 week challenge, and if you can afford it, a membership at the gym.

This group of coaches are a team. They work together, hard, to ensure that each challenger has all of the training and information they need to do the workouts at a high level. They encourage you to push harder while ensuring you are safely performing each move and reaching your full potential.

I just completed my 6 weeks challenge. The goal was to lose 6% body fat in 6 weeks. I completed with losing 7% body fat and 18pounds. It wasn’t easy, but the coaches definitely keep you encouraged and motivated. I heard about a 6 week challenge that Iron Tribe was doing, so I thought: I need a challenge, why not? I didn't know too many details about the challenge or the gym at that point. (And typically I'm not that in to gyms - I do more outdoor activities.) It turned out to be a good choice because the coaches are caring, nutrition is a part of the goal, and there is a focus on working up to a higher level, as opposed to jumping right in to the hardest stuff (which could put you at risk for injury). Overall, a good experience. Why the 4 stars? Because it's hard for me to give anything 5 stars, as I always see room for improvement :)

ITF is good at what they do. It's a "crossfit" style gym, while not officially crossfit. The workouts are posted in advance on their app (to either mentally prep you or be lazy and choose another day...), and classes stay small. The trainers are knowledgeable and friendly. Why not 5 stars? The times aren't all convenient (I like the 7am hr to work out - 6am's too early, 8am's too late, and evenings are iffy with my work sched...), but mostly because I don't feel like I've found a community for me. A good workout? Yes. Learned new things? Yes. Best friends? No. I'm grateful for the opportunity to try out ITF Belle Mead during the 101 challenge, though. Thanks guys, for what you offer.

I originally joined Iron Tribe without knowing much about it, just because it was close and I walked in and saw people doing amazing stuff and was like "I want to be able to do that!" A year and a move later and I am not so close to the gym any more but can't imagine working out anywhere else. The workouts are always challenging and varied but are still appropriate for every level - or even just how you're feeling that day. The coaches are enthusiastic (sometimes crazily so), with classes small enough that you can get feedback on your form or suggestions on a scale that is exactly appropriate to you. The team spirit in each class is amazing - especially for a workout and not a team sport! Everyone encourages everyone else and celebrates when anyone achieves a new goal/level/movement. I've seen incredible improvement in what I'm able to do in the last year, and am confident that Tribe will get me to my next goals (pull ups and handstand pushups here I come)!

Around February, a friend of mine encouraged me to enter into the Irontribe Team Challenge by saying, “Uh, it’ll change your life bro.”
Now, after 5 weeks of the competition, I attest that statement was 100% true. The results have been remarkable. Other than being a little sore, I’ve enjoyed every bit of it. The trainers have been excellent. They create a consistent positive vibe and energy, and that’s 5:15 AM, 8:00 PM or anything in between.
Huge thank you to the Belle Meade ITF Trainers Arlen Castenada Noelle Fede Ryan Kirk and #itfbrentwood Joshua Works Kari Morse Josh Rabon Lindsey Sillers and #itfcoolsprings Renee Bourland Box and Jamie Warren. Thank you all for being gracious, encouraging and patient. Certainly represented Irontribe well. Also, thanks for kicking my b*** for the past 5 weeks (if I left any trainers out, please no extra burpees, or whatever). My mood, ability to get a good night’s rest, food choices, and overall quality of life have all significantly improved as direct results of your collective efforts. Goodwill is about to get some more used clothes since I’ve dropped a size and a few pounds.
One other thing is that I got a bum knee and a back issue. I’m confident much of that is due to gaining a few pounds and getting older, so the process of going through the 101 classes was an appropriate introduction. The classes are fun, challenging, and low impact. The friendly competition is a great motivator. It is reaffirming to see the marked improvement from week to week. It worked very well for me given my physical concerns going into the challenge.
I knew some, if not much of the exercises from high school glory days sports but a refresher on proper technique and easing into it was a good thing. Some of it I did not know, so it made a less intimidating transition to the PUSH classes. Sometimes you got to crawl correctly before you walk. The 101 classes pushed me and were a great introduction to ITF. I can tell a huge difference from day 1 to where I am now.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share my results and story and give credit where it is due. Highly recommend Irontribe.

Last year at 2am i woke up and responded to a FB post promoting Iron Tribe. Zak called me days later. I drove to belle Meade and signed up with the 2 free week trial. Loved it. I did tribe for 6 months.
Got in pretty good shape but more importantly just felt good about myself. Couldn’t rejoin and then Ryan Kirk called me in February about this 6 week challenge. I wanted to feel good again.
Many battle or struggle internally due to everyday life, myself definitely included. Since joining the challenge my life is better. I can manage those struggles better. Gotta keep it up!

I am a bit of a gym connoisseur and know a number of workout routines. I also know there is a ton of room for improvement. When I started my six week challenge I was excited and skeptical, but let me tell you how much of a game changer Iron Tribe has been! The high intensity and efficient workouts work really well with my busy schedule, I have noticeable results in a short four weeks, and the coaches are amazing. If you are thinking about getting your workouts and nutrition in line, I would highly recommend giving them a try!

I've always been an active person.
I've been a runner since grade school. Running is great because you set your own pace, can block out the rest of the world and be one with nature. That's the problem with running though: it can be isolating. The accountability is often left up to the runner. And if you get busy, it's easy to ditch the run that day. Not to mention the fact that running is also hard on the body and sort of 'one-dimensional' as far as workouts go.
Then there are gyms: the work gym, the cheap monthly-membership gym, the circuit gym. All of them have their appeal, but there's still something missing from each.
Irontribe is really the first COMMUNITY I've been part of that pulls everything together. The coaches and members care about each other: where they are, their health, their families, their lives. The workouts are fun, different and challenging, but can fit anyone's skill level. The app and the community holds you accountable as well as gives you a sneak peak at what you'll be doing that day. There are special events, activities and competitions that are fun and meant to bring everyone together as well as challenge you.
That's probably the biggest thing I get out of Irontribe: a tribe and a program that will always challenge me to be better. There is always room in my life for improvement, whether it's power cleaning 250lbs or just saying hi to the new person that is in the same position I was 2 years ago...nervous, intimidated and doubtful. Don't worry, it's worth it!

I have a love hate relationship with exercise. Throw a ball out there and keep score and I will play all day, but take me to a gym and ask me to lift weights or run on a treadmill and I hate every minute of it. A month ago I was invited to join a fitness challenge at Iron Tribe. Although I do have to go to a gym, what makes Iron Tribe different is the community, competition, and accountability. They know your name when you walk in the door and they push you to compete with the class and yourself. It’s definitely a place that makes exercise a little more enjoyable. If you are looking for a place for “fit”ness, give Iron Tribe a try and see if you fit there.

I joined almost 2 years ago not knowing what I was getting myself into. I almost pulled out of the parking lot minutes before my first class! I'm glad I didn't, b/c Iron Tribe Belle Meade has changed my life. I was sedentary, had a poor diet, and unhappy with how I looked and felt after having 2 babies. I have to say this has been the best 2 years of my life. My diet has cleaned up, I can actually lift more than 15 pounds, and I am challenged every day. My coaches believe in me and that has helped boost my confidence. I also love the friends I've made here! I was recommended to check out this gym called Iron Tribe back in 2016. I was initially intimidated by the sound of group classes, the barbell& looking bulky. Participating in the IronTribe challenge has exceeded my expectations. I was struggling with motivation and accountability. ITF helped with both. There's a great sense of community. Even during a fitness competition, everyone cheers each other on. The coaches are positive, dedicated and great at explaining all the exercises in each workout. The 101 classes I introduced me to weightlifting form and technique, which is something I have always wanted to explore but never felt comfortable doing anywhere else. Iron Tribe Belle Meade provided individual support in a group setting to teach me the basics throughout the past 4 weeks so that I can participate in normal tribe classes. All the coaches are very knowledgeable and helped me modify movements as necessary so that I could complete all of the workouts. I am excited to keep moving forward with these classes as they are a great compliment to kickboxing with my peeps at ILKB Nashville. I also learned that there is something I dislike more than running…it is called the assault bike. If you don’t know what I am talking about, you should go give it a try and report back ;)

I am so glad I found ITF Belle Meade when I was new to Nashville and looking for a gym to join. I've been working out at this gym for almost a year now. The coaches are very knowledgeable and make a connection with each member to help everyone meet their individual goals. Every workout can be modified to any skill level and the results I've experienced myself and witnessed in others speaks volumes as to what the programming is capable of.

I joined Iron Tribe Belle Meade in June 2015, somewhat apprehensively after seeing all those really fit people jog down Harding Road carrying medicine balls or kettle bells like they were nothing. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience over the past year. I started from an almost non-existent fitness level - I had not seriously worked out in a number of years prior to joining. I feel so much stronger now than I did when I started. The first month of classes, called "101", were really helpful in teaching me the proper way to work with the various equipment so I wouldn't injure myself. It also provided advice on nutrition and allowed me to get to know a great group of people, many of whom started at the same fitness level I did.
After 101 I started attending the regular classes. For a busy working mom, the convenience and flexibility to take any one of the 6+ classes a day is so important. I use their app to sign up for the classes that work best with my schedule each week. I also love how the classes vary each day. Even though the workout changes, though, it is still easy to track your progress and see real improvement Seeing that improvement helps motivate me to work harder. The classes are also fast - the 45 minutes from start to finish seems to fly by! The trainers are all very knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely care about helping each individual.
Now I'm one of those people jogging down Harding Road carrying a couple of kettle bells or a medicine ball. It's not as hard as I used to think it was. And, I've met a lot of nice people while getting a great workout!

Joining Iron Tribe was by far the best decision I have made for my health. In the past I have had many personal trainers who don’t take the time to get to know you or your body and they put you on a generic plan. At Iron Tribe, the coaches go out of their way to help you. I joined Iron Tribe Belle Meade September 2014, and it was probably the best decision I ever made. I thought I knew how to work out, how to design a workout including intensity and frequency, proper nutrition and how to eat for performance/goals. After several years of doing things on my own, I constantly hit a plateau, lost interest in both the routine and nutrition and would quit out of frustration of not seeing any results physically, only to do nothing to change it.
After driving by gym several times and doing some research online, I wanted to see what IronTribe was all about and decided to go in and talk to a coach. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted and made to feel very welcome. The coach was very easy to talk to and answered every question I had but also asked me questions about my history, what my fitness goals were for the present as well as the future. He then shifted the conversation to food and nutrition and offered me several great pieces of advice on small changes to make. We then started talking about the actual workouts, what they consisted of, the level of intensity, frequency, movements. At this point, I was concerned that I would not be able to perform well, especially in a class with other members who may put me to shame, who have been doing this for some period of time. I think the coach could see that on my face and then told me that EVERYTHING could be scaled depending on fitness level and comfort. This put me a little more at ease and he then showed me several exercises and how they could be scaled. He then told me that all members must go through a set of intro classes, called 101, where the movements and exercises are properly taught so that injuries don't occur and so that you learn them correctly. At this point, I knew this is where I needed to be.
Over a year later, I have improved so many aspects of my life physically and mentally as a result of joining Iron Tribe. I see changes in my appearance that I never thought possible. The community there is extremely welcoming and friendly and your physical ability has no bearing on how people treat or view you. These are the people that you work out with and they help motivate and push you to your limits while having a great time doing the workout. The coaches are the best and are always available to answer any questions you have about a movement, food/nutrition, develop goals, and are always willing to meet with you to help you improve on a movement or exercise. They genuinely care about you and your goals and strive to help you not only achieve them but surpass them.
Concerned that you don't have the time? Classes are 45 minutes long and they have shower facilities available if you need to get to work early in the morning or return to work from a mid day workout. You get to create your own schedule as they offer several different class times daily. With options like that, there is no reason to not get in the gym.
If you are looking to make yourself healthier and improve your mental and physical abilities, then IronTribe is for you. I strongly encourage you to stop by and talk to a coach and see for yourself why Iron Tribe is like nothing you have ever done before and will get you where you want to be.
