10/10 recommend! This gym is amazing; super friendly and has everything any athlete or gym goer would need. I’m a powerlifter visiting family from out of town and I’ll come back here every time I’m in town from now on. If you’re a powerlifter, this is THE PLACE! I’m adding a photo of just one area of the gym. The place is huge and has every type of station you can think of.

This gym is perfect. Originally from NC and was in town looking for a smaller gym to get a quick workout in at and cam across this place. Soon as I walked in and asked about a day pass they helped instantly. Even carried on a genuine conversation which is hard to come across with gyms. Equipment is top tier aswell for all sorts of training. Will be coming by again if I’m ever in town.

As a business owner in Kingsport, I can tell you, this is the best gym in the area. I know the market, & I know what's out there! The trainers are amazing & the owner wants only the best for her members. I've read the 1 star reviews. I'd urge everyone to look past those fickle people, & come give it a try.

I love this old school style gym. the gym has great members that give off the supportive family feel as soon as you walk in the door!
The owner has a real passion for helping the gym goers to reach their fitness goals, and provides a safe environment for all, to do their own style of training In.
The owners have done wanders with this gym, over the past 3-4 years and I’m sure they will keep on gradually updating and expanding and keep giving the kingsport community a great opportunity to join at a reasonable and affordable price to become strong, fit, and healthy

The owner is not a very nice person. They kicked someone out of the gym for taking a selfie!! IMO a gym should be inclusive and inviting. This gym is NOT it y’all….. plus the whole place looks ghetto and run down.

My whole family (husband, myself, and our teenage daughter) LOVE Marlene, and her gym! She's EXTREMELY knowledgeable, experienced, and very personable. She has an assortment (😆) of trainers available for any goals you may have, and they will all make sure you feel comfortable while there. If you've not stopped by, make sure you do because she's adding new equipment and expanding all the time!

Overpriced tanning beds suck and no one helps you train

Was going there in August and would walk on the treadmills most of the time I was there. They started out with five treadmills and then went down to three working, then only two were operational. This went on for months . It was either they were too lazy to fix it or they didn't want to spend the money to repair them. I assumed that's what the matinence fee is for that comes out of the membership every year. The trainer Jessica is rude and sits and eats unhealthy food in front of people that are working out and trying to eat healthy. The only professional part about this gym is their employee crystal who is very kind and tries to do her job well despite Jessica trying to control the situition. This is one of the most broken down gym's I have ever went to.

Kingsport Fitness and Tanning is definitely the best gym I’ve been to. The new owners have upgraded and fixed everything in the gym and are still continuing to add more upgrades. You can tell they truly care about the experience that the members have. The tanning here is great and easy to use. All the members are really nice and friendly. It has all the equipment you need for weightlifting and cardio. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to get in a great workout.

Not staffed when scheduled hours and never have towels for cleaning beds before and after use!! None of tanning beds have 100 percent of bulbs working. Been a member since they purchased from Sunny Days so disappointed and when they hit you once a year for $25 membership fee you wonder where they're putting the money.
