These guys are amazing!!! I previously quit due to school and some other stuff, I had originally made it to Jr Blue Belt. I came back and both of the Sensei’s I managed to get back on track, not only are these Sensei’s just Sensei’s…. They are mentors. 😁

This place is absolutely amazing! The teachers are dedicated to the subject and their students, they are patient, kind, insanely skilled and very knowledgeable. The training is serious, but the classes are also fun (I signed up my 12 year old son and after watching him for a month I couldn’t help but join as well). The overall atmosphere is very supportive, it feels like a true community. I love everything about this school! So fortunate to have found it!

This truly a family Dojo. My son and I have been going there for more than two years and we love it. My son especially has developed a big sense of discipline and he is able to focus more on his classes. I am proud to say that thanks to our Senseis, my son has participated in 2 different events across the country, where he has placed 1 and 2 place in two categories. We love the way that Mr. and Mrs. Guillimet, teach their classes. They take the time to look what we need to improve and ensure that by the end of the class we have a clear understanding of the techniques that we are doing.

Our daughter started attending NVD just over six months ago and we have been incredibly pleased with her experience and so grateful for the loving instruction provided by the Guillemet's. Sensei Chelsie truly has a gift as an educator. She seasons her instruction with such a precise level of patience, discipline, attentiveness to the different personalities and skill levels of her students and a healthy sense of humor.

Sensei Ryan invests in his students by challenging them to push themselves further each class, encouraging and modeling structure and discipline as well as educating all students in the history and context of Wado karate.

The students who assist with classes are all professional and courteous and the Sensei's have definitely instilled the value of helping others no matter what belt level each student is. There is always a feeling of support and encouragement from all ages towards their fellow classmates. This creates an amazing safe space for students to try something new, fail, get up, try again and succeed! And then attempt the next challenge :-)

New Visions Dojo offers many different kinds of opportunities for the whole family, providing a wide-range of commitment levels for their youngest to oldest students. It is very apparent that this dojo is the Guillemet's home away from home and our community is blessed that every single day they open their home to their students and their families as a healthy, active and safe space.

This dojo has the perfect blend of encouraging students to do their best but also holding them accountable for learning technique and discipline. My 5 year old has been attending classes at New Visions Dojo for the past 9 months and have loved our experience. The instructors are fun and dynamic, but also disciplined with the students. They challenge each student at their own level and are really patient allowing each child to develop at their own pace. There is also a strong sense of community at New Visions Dojo with fun activities happening outside of the classroom each month. Best dojo ever! Sensei Guillemet is so great with little ninjas and younger kids. This is more than a dojo, it’s a community that’s a blessing to be a part. I started coming to New Visions about a year ago. My only regret is not joining sooner! Such an incredible atmosphere, and the training is spectacular. Now my two girls are involved in kids and ninja training and loving it too! As a parent the emphasis on character, humility, and discipline is amazing! My 2 girls - who are now 5, and 7 - joined the training early/mid 2020 - and myself, my wife , and my brother all joined about a month later.
Not only are Sensei Ryan and Sensei Chelsie married, their ability to work together to guide all ages and skill ranks is remarkable and fun to watch.

I was 40 years old when I joined, and I can say without doubt that The last year has been one of most challenging but rewarding journeys I have experienced.

We highly recommend New Visions Dojo. We tried quite a few different extracurriculars with our 4 year old son (swimming, hockey, taekwondo, gymnastics, music) and he never wanted to go past the trial class, but with New Visions Dojo he had no hesitation about wanting to continue. Every day, he asks us if it’s a karate class day. He loves it that much.

Sensei Ryan and Sensei Chelsie have cultivated a very welcoming, encouraging, and joyful environment in their dojo. They have a great group of older sempais in class to help encourage and guide the younger children, and they are always mixing up the activities in class to keep the kids excited. I've been enjoying lessons here with my wife for over a year. I used to take martial arts for a number of years, and after moving away for college I had a hard time finding a good dojo again.
New Visions is a warm and welcoming community, great for both kids and adults. Good for returning students like myself, or complete beginners like my wife.
Ryan and Chelsie (the instructors) are awesome at what they do. I appreciate how good they are at explaining the concepts behind the techniques. When attending classes they always managed to keep us motivated.

I have been out of martial arts for 20 years, and while I wanted to start back sooner, the timing was never right, but once I visited this dojo, it reminded me of everything I loved about martial arts as a kid. Ryan and Chelsie are two of the most skilled and knowledgeable martial artists and instructors I have ever met. What I admire most about them is they want their students to learn the art and become skilled practitioners of it.
