Terrible. I guess I left my phone in the bathroom stall or the dressing room, not sure. Someone was nice enough to bring it to the front. Which I appreciate! BUT I don't appreciate the planet fitness workers at COLUMBIA TN location though. The worker charged my phone and tried random passwords out until she figure out my phone password. Mind you, my phone wasnt even dead coming into planet fitness, which means they stayed on my phone until it died then tried to recharge it. She went through my apps and everything! Mind you, I haven't even been at planet fitness for very long, I just had walked in. I could see if the phone was left for days, or weeks and your trying to see who's it is so you can return it. But it hadn't even been 30 mins since someone found it.
The worker came in the locker room to tell me she unlocked my phone, telling me my password and that she went through it, calling me by my full name. She was laughing about it...... I said that's invasion of privacy! I feel violated. just because I left my phone, doesn't mean y'all can try different passwords out and go through it like noisy werid people. They have a lost and found box. Drop it in there and LEAVE IT ALONE. They had it charging in the front & unlocked going through my CELL PHONE. INSANE. DONT COME HERE! THEY THINK GOING THROUGH OTHER PEOPLES PHONE IS OK. I HAVE PHOTOS AND STUFF THAT IS PRIVATE ON MY PHONE. WHY WOULD THEY THINK THATS OK AT ALLL IS BEYOND ME. If the workers at this location is THAT bored y'all need to find a bathroom stall to clean or wipe down all those dirty equipment! Find something else to do, instead of standing at the front desk, going through other people's cellphones !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plenty dirty equipment at this location. This location is childish and immature. Don't come here. Such a WERID experience at this location. I've left my phone before inside planet fitness at other locations and never ever had someone go through it ........ This location is just foul. This old white man was holding my phone at the front, mind you the manager was in the front with the old man who had it charging! after the girl had went through it and told everyone my password. Looking through my photos and everything, disgusting workers! I told the manager, he did absolutely nothing about it. The manager was standing next to the man charging my phone. I was extremely impressed that after only seeing a worker a handful of times she started addressing me by name when she seen me. They must-see so very many people every day so this made me feel so good that she took the time to remember my name and address me by it when I came in. I did have a good review from this gym but how has My opinion has changed... This gym is just used for the senior citizens to have a place to meet and stand around on the equipment and just talk..you can't work out the gym has went down Hill the past several months now...was a Great place to workout and now its just a meeting place..how I regret trying to stay at this gym..the manager is not trustworthy she can't even Auto draft out your account until it's 45 dollars and then All of a sudden it will Go through..what a lie.. Not judgement free unfortunately 😓 I’ve never been to a PF before and everything was super clean. Guy at the desk was pretty rude to me and my parents when we would ask simple questions. I grabbed some water from the cooler and asked if I could buy it—to no response. I asked again and he said that he was already doing it. I can’t read minds 🫤 how was I supposed to know? Then, I asked about the massage chairs and if I needed to reserve them or anything and was shut down immediately and told that I need to have a black card membership and that I do not have that. Good to know, however, not what I asked for and just kind of shut everything down. I will continue to go to PF, just probably not this one

I love the upgrade! It was definitely needed. However, the place is still dusty!! Its so frustrating because theres staff there 24/7 and its like they just stand at the front talking( not greeting people ). Ive worked here before and Lori came to me asking for advice on how to keep her gym clean and it may have work for a month and after that nothing. Its sad because this is where i first started my journey. The cleanliness and employee interaction with guests needs to be fixed ASAP!

Best value is the black card, so yourself a favor and just.take the plunge and go. There is equipment for everyone and the app makes it easy for check in and there are videos to learn about using all the equipment.
There are different exercise videos on the app to so at home as well and discounts at many different places. With the black membership you get access to massage chairs, hydromassage tables, meditation pod, cryogenic table, suntan stand up mods, and light therapy stand up mods. These would cost so much.more by themselves at a tanning place which makes this me.bership an excellent value, so get.a buddy and start.

Mostly clean place. Lot of spray cleaning bottles are empty or almost empty if you go at night and do not always get refilled though. Good amount of equipment in there. Never feels too crowded even if there are a lot of people there. Glad they have tons of the most popular equipment like treadmills and ellipticals so people don't have to wait. Nice staff, but all staff needs to be trained on honoring/establishing your membership if it's paid for through your employer or other avenues. I pay $28/month for access to PF through my job and have an access card on my phone I was instructed to show them on my first visit with my photo id and the night guy had zero idea what to do and just ended up giving me a day pass so I couldn't even log into the PF app and track my progress because it's as if I'm not even a member. He told me his manager would take care of it but I have yet to hear a thing over a week later. Guess I apparently need to come back when a manager is there but I can't due to the hours I work considering any time I went in the past there was never a manager available, so I just haven't even bothered going back at all. I will though and hopefully it gets straightened out somehow. Went once to the massage table room and the thing was soaked in sweat with no cleaner in the bottle and not a paper towel in sight. It's like Overall it's your average gym but the night shift customers/sanitation seem like an after thought ...hence the 3 stars.

I've been a member of this gym for many years and today walked out about 10 minutes into a session. A poor girl got grabbed by an older man inappropriately and no one came to her defense. I watched her go talk to the manager after telling him that she had already asked him to not touch her- meaning this wasn't the first time. And the manager asked the man to leave but he was allowed to continue working out while waiting for a ride. I'm sorry but that man just assaulted her and you are allowing him to continue to use your facilities? I walked up to the girl and checked on her and she said this had been happening with the same man for a month now and he has not been banned from this gym. I asked if she was comfortable with me speaking to management about this and she said yes. When I asked management why he was allowed to still be in the building- they stated the reason of the ride but I don't think it is acceptable in any shape or form for that man to be able to walk around after assaulting someone with the option to do it again before his ride comes- he is obviously not remorseful or it wouldn't have happened more than once. And this company is obviously not concerned with the safety of the people in its building or he wouldn't be allowed to step foot in. I will be canceling my membership and telling everyone I know that planet fitness does not provide a safe space for people to work out.

last night i went to planet fitness, i was there from 10-11 and i couldn’t help but overhear a guest (older lady with a pony tail and glasses) saying the most awful things about hispanic people and immigrants. i’ve also witnessed this same lady yell at two hispanic women for standing next to her machine trying to figure out what their next work out was. not only that but the older worker with grey hair who was working that night was agreeing with everything she was saying ! i will be canceling my membership and finding a new gym. one that doesn’t support racism. KEEP POLITICS OUT OF THE GYM !

The gym is absolutely amazing but however the ladies at the front desk really need to be more polite to the guests. Specifically the skinny brunette lady that worked the desk yesterday along with a bigger woman. Anytime I guess ask her a question she looked annoyed and she rolled her eyes without trying to hide it and when I asked for a pass to go to the black card massage area, she took the pass and put it down in front of me and scooted it towards me to wait for me to pick it up rather than just hand it to me. I love coming here to work out! That facility is clean they have great tanning beds. All the equipment is in great condition and I really love having 10 different TVs to look at while I am on the treadmill. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel welcome to be here. Facility, ok. Billing, nightmare. Not only has PF violated the rights of natural born women, but to be charged another fee after paying your monthly fee is outrageous. PF is really gorging bank accounts with all these made-up terms and conditions. I havent been inside a PF for 3 months, and yes thats due to me just not going, but for me to pay for 3 months of inactivity, then wish to cancel and they want to charge another fee. Thats outrageous. And so what if it was in the terms, write your terms and conditions to be fair. No one wants to go to a gym where theyre not respected and cant even use the restroom in peace. Instead of blending natural born women with men who identify as women, how about u renovate your facility to obtain a third bathroom that caters to the new demographic. Then maybe I would consider donating an extra $25 for that, instead of you charging me bc I no longer wish to attend.

Well-Equipped Gym with Room for Improvements. I've been a member at Planet Fitness for some time now, and overall, it's a solid gym with a positive atmosphere. The facility boasts a good variety of workout equipments, making it easy to tailor your fitness routine.

The staff is friendly and approachable, always ready to assist or answer any questions. The gym environment is generally positive, creating a motivating atmosphere for workouts.

Because of my job, I keep traveling all the time. I’ve been in some many different PF facilities and this is the worst one so far. Showers smells like pee. The walls, the curtains and that little glass shelf where all covered with soap and soap scum. It was just disgusting in all ways. This is a perfect example on how to disrespect your gym members.

Love PF and the non-intimidating atmosphere. The staff is great and helpful. I have just started " design your own program" with the trainer which is re-evaluated every 4 weeks. I like that it shakes up the routine and reduces the boredom. I have also done several group classes which have been fun and makes the time pass quickly.

I just sent to their open house. It was really bizarre, no one greeted me, I wasn't in work out clothes so obviously there for the open house. I waited a minute to see if one of the many people there would give me some direction but no one did. I finally told someone at the desk that I was there for the open house. He had me fill out a couple things then turned his attention elsewhere. I waited again then finally asked what I was supposed to do next. He relied that I could just walk around and check out the facilities.

That's all well and good but this is an open house! Are you not supposed to do a tour? Explain some of the services? Are there classes? Trainers? They didn't even talk about any prices or specials! Very weird and disappointing. The facilities do look great which is why I say 3 stars but heaven help you if you need assistance!

The planet fitness is super spacious compared to other planet fitness around. They recently updated their black card members area to include an ice chair (extremely cold). They do not have free weights except for the dumbbells. they do have smith machines for squats and bench press but most of the facility is focused on specific muscle group machines. They do have plenty of cardio machines as well. If your goal is weight loss then you will definitely achieve it here. If your goal is purely strength training for body building then a more traditional gym would be better for you. Since planet fitness does have a link alarm (however of my 4 years at this gym I have never heard it go off) and no free standing barbells for squats. For the general public 10/10 gym, clean and cheap (I currently pay 15-ish dollars a month as I'm writing this).
