Only things to improve there's no private changing room, only 2 hooks to hang our stuff for 3 showers, and 2 small benches in the lockers area
It's not that expensive, please go get some.

Awesome location. Great staff. Clean machines. Can get busy depending on the time of day but there are plenty machines to keep you working out. Absolutely love the water massage chairs. I haven't tried the tanning booths but will in the future.

All the staff are very nice and helpful but one staff member stands out to me the most and has helped me a lot in my fitness journey. Staff name is Donna, she’s the absolute best, she answers any questions I have, any problems she handles it without any attitude and in a timely manner , even when the new equipment came and one of my favorite machines got taken out she came an tried it out the new one with me so I could see it if I liked it. Donna is always smiling and being nice to everybody, definitely made me feel safe with my journey I really appreciate her professionalism makes a big difference for beginners.

The bald guy with the glasses who works at the front desk, I think his name is Matt. Is a problem.
Me and a coworker went into town and forgot our tanning glasses, so we asked him if there was stickers and he made a smart alec remark and scoffed at us and had a total attitude that we asked about it because he didn’t wanna buy another pair of glasses. He was just outright rude and disrespectful and we’ve been too over 45 planet fitness locations nationwide and we rarely ever get this treatment. We will definitely think again before bringing our whole team here because we had four guys that we’re going to tan and buy glasses, but the attitude of the worker absolutely repelled us from coming back to this location. This should be addressed because everyone else that works at this location is amazing and the gym facility is pretty clean, but this one guy is a stain on the brand.

Billing & autodraft NIGHTMARE!! I joined 4/7/2025 and on 4/25/2025 a $20 late fee was drafted from my account. I had only been a member of planet fitness for lil over 2wks, how was I late on monthly membership fees? I don’t understand the logic to their billing unless it is criminal intent. I called this location and the employee told me that planet fitness does not recognize online banking (chime/cash app), brick and mortar banks ONLY. Ironically planet fitness managed to draft the $20 as a late fee from the same online banking account they claim to NOT recognize. When I called the store, the employee said that there was no way to cancel my subscription over the phone. I either had to cancel via the app or in person. After 45 minutes of searching via my app and on Google, I finally was able to navigate and find the option to cancel my subscription online. Customer service is nonexistent. There is no 1-800 number to call to cancel or ask questions. 10/10 do not recommend.

Friendly staff but after being a member at Planet Fitness in another state I see this one needs updated systems and equipment. The machines don't work properly. The are messed up or broken pieces. It's not very spacious either. No bar code reader to check in quickly, no computer shelf check in for the tan beds and massagers. Code locks in bathroom would be nice too. I can handle the small space but please fix and/or update equipment and system. Picture from my Planet fitness in another state.

They allow you to sign up online and automatically take money out of your account but will not let you cancel online. I had money in my account when the direct debit attempted to go through but my card was locked and a couple days later they ran the direct debit again with a $15 "late fee" and somehow even with my card locked they were able to get the money out my account that time. I called and was told that there's nothing they can do and that i am able to cancel online but still don't see where. I don't understand how they can just take money out of my account without me ever going into the building. There was no verification that I'm the one that set up the account or anything.

Traveling for work and worked out here several days. This gym is one of the cleanest I have ever been to. They are always cleaning which shows because this place is spotless. Plenty of up to date equipment and room to move around. BJ at the front desk is the man. So friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back when I’m in town.

Planet Fitness is an awesome workout venue. Especially for their monthly fees. Though, with all that they offer, it is surprising that they do not offer a sauna or a steam room. Regardless of those small shortcomings, I must say they are the best fitness venue at a great affordable monthly fees (minus yearly fees, of course).

Long story short. Had the membership for 8 yrs. Travel for work and I couldn't get into a gym in Mississippi cause I didn't have the app. Couldn't get it cause i couldn't get in touch with my "home town " gym. Went home for a wknd. I never saw a employee there. Started my own tanning bed. Even called the number and said closed wh8le I was in gym. I love planet fitness but some things need to change in certain areas

The facility was nice and I like how they have a couple separated, smaller areas with workout machines.

Overall I am highly satisfied with planet fitness (Jackson location). The monthly fee is definitely affordable for anyone!
The fitness center and the restrooms are always kept nice and clean. My only complaint is that it is kept too warm to be working out. The IFA (International fitness association) recommends the workout room temperature of 65°-68°.
I always wear short sleeve shirt and shorts. I can’t wear any less but for the members that may be somewhat cool they can always put on more clothing.
I have checked the different thermostats throughout the gym and even took pictures for my own record.

Great place to work out at. Manager Mellissa and staff our friendly and professional. The gym is well organized and very clean due to Melissa’s hands on management. Her staff are fantastic and very helpful to individual needs.

This is a very nice, clean, and organized facility. But there are some super rude and inconsiderate individuals that workout here. You will literally be in between sets just a few feet away from the equipment you're working on and people will walk up and take the attachment that you are currently using. They won't even ask if you are finished after they literally have watched you on that same piece of equipment for a few sets.

Thanks to a traveling job I've been a member at several different locations & seen several more over the years. This one Just re-opened after renovating with a new floor plan & Dang is it COOL!!

There's lots of new equipment and it seems like there's a few more of some machines that sometimes used to have a wait. Whatever you like to do for a workout, They've probably got it. Great for a Quick workout, Or a long Heavy one. You can use Machines, Crossfit, Kettlebells, Freeweights, Cardio, Stretching/Yoga, or just Basic Calisthenics ..... You name it!

They're ready to start offering Classes, But are still looking for a Fitness instructor or someone who holds a Personal Training certificate. I'm kinda stoked for when they get one.

There's also, all new Stand up Tanning Booths, Tanning Beds, 1 Total Body Chamber (a vibration Plate surrounded by Red UV lights to help undo sun damage), 1 Hybrid Stand-Up Tanning Booth (UV Tanning lights +Red UV lights together. So you can get your sun damage & Un-Do it all at the same time LOL) They have 2 fabulous new OMG Massage Chairs, and 2 Hydro beds AND The CryoLounge is fantastic if you're like me & have spine or Joint injuries/damage that like to flare up after a good workout. I hit the Hydrobed first then kick back for a good dose of hot & Cold in the Cryolounge afterward. It's also nice for when a Migraine is on it's way in & ya wanna head it off before it get's bad. (No pun intended.... or maybe it was ;-) See what I did there? LOL) All in all, it's a great place & I'm happy to be a member.

But the business charged my account few days before closing down for almost 4 weeks of renovation and said they couldn’t refund or freeze my billings. They didn’t gave any communication regarding shutting down.
