Over an hour before they closed, the employees removed all but one of the curtains and handles on the shower faucets (including the handicap shower!) forcing all of the guests to use one shower. If I were handicapped, I would be completely unable to shower! I get that it's Thanksgiving and they want to get home to their families, but this is completely unacceptable. Many people, including the unhoused, rely on planet fitness for a shower. Makes me wonder why I even spend the money on a black card membership in the first place. There are many other PFs in this area. I would avoid this place if you use the showers... or want to be treated like a valued customer.

I had to ask who kept the gym at 100% every night .Two young gentlemen ,Ty and Terrance .You just don’t see young men taking pride in their jobs anymore.Hell,I get tired just watching them work.And im lifting weights the entire time. They always make the members feel welcomed ,by being approachable and supportive….But, you better hold on to these two ..Because ,I have friends and family who run multiple small businesses .In 2025, these two young men are exactly what small business owners are looking to snatch up ..Employees really do make the difference!

This PF was a great workout and tanning experience. This location has the latest equipment that even tracks your reps, sets, and timing. There are plenty of the most popular machines and there are even incremental weights (22.5lbs, 27.5lbs, etc.) in the free weight area. The functional training room has ample medicine balls, kettlebells, and seemingly brand new workout mats.
The tanning beds/booths are pristine, boast the latest tech (even red light therapy), and have fully functional fans, ergonomic handles, etc. Not to mention the tanning room (and really that whole tanning/massaging wing) feels almost luxurious.

Probably one of the worst gyms that I've ever been to. Yes they gave it a facelift but nothing on the inside has changed so it's still the same at the end of the day. It's not in the best neighborhood, so therefore you know what type of people you're going to be surrounded by and on top of that that's exactly who they hire to work within so again you know nothing is working right and you can tell that by simply driving through the parking lot. There are abandoned vehicles and tires and glass in parking spots all throughout that location. You can tell that the managers give a damn is busted and she should no longer be there. Not to mention the general manager who acts like she has shoe horns for hands in regards to doing anything about it. I would say if you had to go somewhere and this was your last resort okay but just make sure you carry mace and or a taser with you.

Ok it’s been a month since I’ve been to the gym. My “home gym” 25 mins away is getting a facelift. I visited Planet Fitness in Madison, Tennessee, and I can’t say enough good things about it! Shoutout to Tracy (Treycee 🤷🏻‍♂️) 🤟🏻🙌🏻 Despite it being peak time with the gym buzzing, Tracy went out of his way to make me feel right at home. He took the time to personally show me around the facility, pointing out all the equipment and amenities. Not only that, but he also introduced me to some awesome members, which instantly made me feel like part of the community. The gym itself was clean, well-equipped, and had a welcoming vibe, but Tracy’s genuine care and attention truly set this location apart. Highly recommend this Planet Fitness, and a huge shoutout to Tracy for making my visit so memorable!

Honestly the beat planet fitness I've been too, especially after the renovation. I do have a few points that could be improved. There is ALOT of groups of 3 or larger that train together taking a particular piece of equipment for over 30 mins at a time. People will take 3 and 4 sets of dumbells and hog them to themselves. And my biggest pet peeve is that people use the cable fly machines (note that there's only 2 of them) for single limb excersizes when they could use the single limb cable machines making it very difficult to get a timely workout in. Facilities are great, staff is super nice just wish the average guest thought about those around them more or were more educated on general gym etiquette.

LOVE this gym, the tanning is a great add on and everyone on staff is SO HELPFUL and nice. My one complaint is that they play Fox News on MULTIPLE tvs which is crazy bc 1) it’s a vile and racist station 2) they only play cnn on one screen? Is the owner of this location like alt right or something? Idk if they switched to something less inflammatory and filled with hate and false narratives, I’d enjoy my runs and lifts even more. But the facility is really clean and up to date and I love being there, it’s become my happy place!

I travel nationwide and visit planet fitnesses while on my travels. This location is the best planet fitness in the United States. I’ve never even heard of a 5star planet fitness until now. The assistant manager is lovely and took the time to converse and educate me on this location. I’ve never actually seen staff so professional and dedicated to the up keep of a planet fitness. There is definitely something special going on here and I’m very glad I chose to go to this location.my most favorite thing here though is the CRYOLOUNGE. On Saturday, 12/21/24, at 12 noon, I went to work out at Planet Fitness in Madison, TN. A rude, young fluffy female front desk worker would not let me leave the courtesy annual holiday treats at the front desk after she ate one. So I put them in a locker. I have been attending this planet fitness for a few months now. It’s been okay. It’s usually dirty, but whatever. I’m not really here for the bathrooms. My problem is they close at 7pm on Saturday and Sunday? The whole point of getting a membership at a planet fitness is so you can work out whenever you want. I get off work at 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. So I essentially can’t use my gym after work and I go into work at 7am so I can’t use the gym before work either.

I used to love this PF. But it seems to be going downhill. Machines will be broken for weeks or months before being repaired. Tanning beds are the same. They have no system for a wait either. I just watched one woman get skipped over then they never turned on the bed for her. 🤦‍♀️ I’ve also now been waiting about 45 minutes with only the two people ahead of me and they also didn’t start my bed.

Lydia is however an actual queen and is my favorite part of coming to the gym. She knows every member and is so intentional and helpful and always full of joy.

This is actually the first planet fitness I've attended that feels more social than it does. I now add this location to my circuit at least once a week just to see what the eye candy will be like. Frfr. It's easy to get distracted in there. But if you set your boundaries and know what you're going in to get done then your work out will be just as optimal as at any other location.

I am so done with planet fitness. I have tried and tried and tried to make it work with them for six months now and it is always an issue. It seems like you can’t do anything right with them no matter which pass you have they say you can only go to one gym, which is crazy because I have been going to three different locations because I move around a lot and it has not been a problem until now before that it was because I had a black card membership tried to bring a guest with me and they said I was not allowed to which it clearly states under the black card membership that you can bring one guest with you they terminated my account and trespassed me from that location because I tried to bring a guest with me. They have harassed me several times saying I do not look like my photo when I do not even have a photo on my membership, so how can I not look like a photo that I don’t even have it’s always something with them. They will charge you even after you tell them at multiple locations that you are in the hospital and want them to cancel your membership because you can not come in. You can not even drive anymore. No wonder people are going to other gyms and dropping Planet Fitness. My lawyer is aware of them adding to the stress and adding to me having more seizures, stress and playing a part of me having brain damage from all of it. Staff do not listen and they are disrespectful as they hang up on you regardless of how many times you try to get through and try to tell them to cancel the account. They are going to end up in bankruptcy just like Bed Bath Beyond, Kmart etc the way staff treats people and the facilities are always nasty 🤢🤮. My fiance even quit going and goes to another place and the YMCA cause it's so awful at these locations. Nasty. What's next someone getting a bacteria 🦠 infection eating away at their skin, something antibiotics can't cure and they are going to be shelling out money 💰💰💰💰💰
