YouTuber TRUFinancials shows you how to cancel your Planet Fitness membership from your phone or computer. Planet Fitness intentionally makes it inconvenient to cancel and hides cancel options. Make sure after you follow the instructions that you don't keep getting money taken by Planet Fitness because they will try. You can simply go to your bank and do a stop payment or just dispute the charges. Don't let predatory businesses scam you. I finally cancelled because of the Morristown Tennessee Planet Fitness consistent poor hygiene and lack of cleaning standards. You can workout at home with minimal equipment and instructional videos online. You don't need a gym membership payment to start your health and fitness journey.

Very dirty establishment in Planet Fitness Morristown Tennessee location. Toxic and lazy staff and management. They don't want to be bothered and I've seen several times 3 or 4 employees being desk or sitting in office all just looking at phones. No standard no structure just a giant health violation. Lockers, locker room and bathroom floors look to be never cleaned. You can smell the bathrooms before entering. I cancelled my family membership several weeks ago because I'm afraid of sickness from this place. After being here several years I've seen people sleeping on the bathroom floor, fleas in the workout area, trash dust and filth that will still be there when I came back a week later. Several months back I made a complaint about the women's restroom toilets and how they flood, the blond girl working basically told me to find somewhere else to go because she didn't want to hear about it. If you care about your health I would advise not walking into a place like this it's a major health hazard. When you get fleas and bed bugs from Planet Fitness you'll be sorry, here is your warning.

It used to be a great place to work out. There used to be multiple machines to work out most muscle groups. Now there are multiple machines to work out the back and the chest. If you want to work your abs, you can sit and wait for those who homestead on machines to play on their phones. As of late, a common scenerio on most machines is to skip what you want to workout because somebody decides they will do a few reps and the play on their phone for 15 mins then do a few more reps then play for 15 more mins. It looked promising a few weeks ago when more machines were brought in but then they removed the current machines and removed others completely. Today was abs and triceps day for me. I had to skip both because someone was using both machines to play on their phone. I usually get a good workout moving free weights for elderly people and small females because some jerk left the machines loaded and/or in an upper position. This will no longer be an issue for me. NFC just got a new customer and PF lost one. I've talked to others who feel the same way and plan to cancel their memberships and move elsewhere. I use my lunch hour to workout and not to sit around and wait on a piece of equipment because there is only one available.

I really enjoy going and working out there's so much to do there. Something for everyone. The employees are so nice and willing to help. It's super clean great atmosphere!! I've been going at least 5 times a week since the middle of January and with some dieting I've lost 18 pounds so far . I feel so much better and have more energy!!! Give it try

I have been coming here for 6+ yearsโฆ. Staff has always been so friendly and helpful until recently. Now the group who works the desk barely look up from their phones long enough to even see who you are and rarely speak. Almost never anyone at the desk. If they are, they're on their phones or in long conversations. Otherwise, you'll have to catch them in the office. They'll have the door cracked, but they're just chatting or on their phones, so you can open it and walk right in.

Iโve been visiting Planet Fitness in Morristown for over a year now. At first, I was impressed by the high level of cleanliness, quality equipment, pleasant smell, and friendly staff. I even brought my friends and considered buying memberships for my parents. However, now Iโm seriously thinking about canceling my subscription.
1. The staff no longer greets members, even when I scan my barcode at the entrance. This creates a feeling of indifference toward customers.
2. Restrooms โ the middle toilet has been out of order for over six months, and the smell in that area is unbearable. Iโve seen the female administrators trying to fix it, but itโs clear that a professional plumber is needed.
3. Privacy violation โ once, a female staff member brought two men into the womenโs locker room to fix something in the showers without informing the women who were changing there.
4. Fitness equipment โ the mats and resistance bands are in terrible condition. Once, I tried to clean a resistance band, and the wipe turned black, but I still couldnโt get it clean. The mats are damaged and clearly need replacement.
5. Locker cleanliness โ I usually use the same locker, and Iโve noticed that it hasnโt been cleaned at all. Someone left a lip gloss in it nine months ago, and itโs still there โ clear evidence that no cleaning is being done in the lockers.
6. Uninformed staff โ the employees often canโt answer questions or explain anything.
Dear owner, if youโre reading this, please take note!
I really hope these issues can be addressed because it makes me sad to see such a potentially great gym decline. Your pricing policy is excellent, but if the situation doesnโt improve, Iโll be ready to pay more and switch to another gym, such as Landing.

Could do better in my opinion. I called multiple times after signing up online to get my barcode. No answer for over 1 hour. The voicemail was not updated to let anyone know there is a gas leak and they are closed. Neither was anything posted on Facebook. They could do better at trying to inform people so they donโt drive 16 minutes there and then back after taking pre workout.

I had three Sons with memberships, and I have used their bathroom facility many times as I am a 60 year old man with one good functional kidney, and a swollen prostate, and a young lady about 18 years old stops me and says โyou must check in first,โ and there are two people before me, and I would have urinated on myself if I had to wait that long. I asked for her manager, and she was no where in sight. I went ahead and used their menโs room facility as I would have wet myself if I had waited any longer. When I returned the manager was standing there and I made a verbal complaint with her, and she took sides with the young employee! I do not know what yโall think, but I cancelled all three of my Sonโs memberships. I already do not agree with planet fitness transgender policy as a Christian conservative, but my children begged me not to cancel them because they said โthat never happens thereโ; however, having this incident happen to me and being disrespected as an elder man trying to only relieve myself I felt a black man during segregation. I am calling corporate office of planet fitness tomorrow!!!

Layout is silly, no mirrors near the stretching and no where to put a stretching mat in general really. Overall havenโt had a great experience at this one and wonโt be back. I have nothing but good things to say about planet fitness of Morristown, Tn. For only 25$ /month (which is the black card package). I get to workout, then do tanning bed and after that I use the red light bed thatโs good for your skin., then I get to relax in the hydro massage chair/bed. Itโs overall fair priced ,clean , and the workers are all nice. Oh and I also get to bring a friend ,for extra motivation. with me for free!! Oh and the best part of all you donโt have to sign a contract unlike National Fitness. You pay monthly no strings attached. No gym can compair with Planet Fitness. Thanks Planet Fitness for being the best gym in town!!! Oh I forgot to mention if a person just wants to use the workout machines, they can do so for only $10/month

I have been a member of planet fitness since 2017, itโs always clean and the equipment is always in great shape. And if something does break they are quick to get it tagged and fixed! Quite a large space. Pretty clean. The times I go are never super packed. People dont hog the machines too much. I like that there are changing rooms right by the showers if you need them. The price is great. The staff could care less about your existance which actually works for them ans their marketing as you feel you can just do your thing without anyone paying much attention to you. A ton of parking as well

This is not a bag gym by any means and I understand the judgement free zone thing but the homeless guy in the lobby smells really bad it stinks up half of the gym I can't focus on my routine when it smells like rotting trash by the

I canceled my black card membership a few weeks ago, but I'm still getting attempts to charge my card every other day. One payment went thru, then the very next day there was another attempt for the same amount. I called this store about the first payment that went thru and I was told a manager would reach out, but never did. The next day I called, still the same response. I'm just trying to get the $40 back that was charged after I had canceled my membership (haven't even been here for months either), and I need the attempt to take more money to stop too. Since no one is returning my calls I decided this was my next step.
