Makes all the difference in what my body can do. Missing workouts is not good for my functionality.
Helps my mental outlook immensely. My wife makes sure I go every time.
The social aspect is tremendous also. Sharing stories and experiences makes a huge difference. Nice to know others are fighting through similar issues. I have made great friends there.
Zach the trainer is very involved in our success. Even his humor keeps things going in a great direction.
You gotta give a try. You’ll be surprised what you can do

I joined Rock Steady soon after my Parkinsons diagnosis in 2017 after hearing about it from another fighter, members of our support group, and my doctor! The name Rock Steady Boxing does not mean just boxing, we do stretching, balance and strength exercises, we have memory games and so much more. Zach is our trainer and keeps us all motivated – he does a great job! Exercise may be the only way to slow the progression of PD – I believe it’s critical to keep us moving! An added bonus to these classes is the friendships that develop as we fight this disease together – just give it a try – I think you’ll be glad you did!

Thee best exercise program I've done in 20 years. We enjoy a rigorous workout, swap jokes and give support to each other daily. I signed up for a great boxing program and made 20+ new friends. The program has improved my health and attitude.

Joined Rock Steady Boxing 2 years ago shortly after I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Twice a week our coach Zach Guza challenges us with an hour and a half of stretching, toning, aerobic activity and agility work. It’s the best decision I have ever made. If you don’t already know, intense exercise is the one thing that has the potential to slow down the progression of the disease. If you or a loved one are inactive and not punching back at Parkinson’s this is the place! I’ve added muscle, gained strength and joined a wonderful family of other people that share this incurable disease. Time to get off the couch and rock your life!
