Best experience there today as they hosted our group from MPRDP. Staff was so nice and I can’t wait to go again and take some classes.

Update: I have been approached by Title staff about my original review (which I’m leaving intact below) so I would like to clarify my points. I was attending Title 3 times a week through the end of June to mid-August. Almost every trainer was supportive and taught an all levels class. Then I got two who did not. In one class, I got the bag the wrong way and hurt my arm. I stopped and started shaking it off and was told by the trainer “no breaks.” The second is detailed below when to the entire class (while wearing a microphone) the trainer chastised a member for stopping to get water. The reason I made my original post is because when I brought these concerns to the manager, I was dismissed. The argument in regards to the water incident was that the trainer knew the person and was teasing them. My response was that I understood but the comment was made publicly in front of people who didn’t have the context. If management had acknowledged my concern then I wouldn’t feel the way I do about this gym and I would not have posted the below.

I would like also to note that after I posted the below review I started being charged cancellation fees when I previously had not. I found that interesting.

I’ve been attending regularly for a month. I’m not a boxer. I’m a newbie with an interest … I find that the workout and enjoyment vary by instructor. As a newbie (and middle aged human) sometimes I hurt myself. There are a few trainers who recognize this and adjust. There are others that accuse you of getting tired and giving up. I actually heard a trainer today tell a guy who stopped for a sip of water that he should’ve drank water before the class. The “professional” fighters who train at this gym will be the reason I leave.

Probably one of the most disorganized and poorly managed fitness businesses I’ve ever been to. I was doing boxing privates with Tyler (he was great) once a week, which has its own price separate from the gym, and randomly, out of the blue, they started charging me an extra $120 a month without my consent, without a contract, without literally anything, and with zero notice, so I didn’t notice it until about six months had passed. When I called the locations, I would routinely be put through to the church street location, which, at the time, said they were having phone problems (remember what I said about it being poorly managed and disorganized, what business doesn’t have working phones for a month?). That excuse didn’t even matter, as I emailed them multiple times and got no response, and finally, I just walked in there and asked to speak with someone and whoever I spoke to told me they would make sure to pay me back for the six months they’d been charging me by check in the mail. That never came. I called them once again, emailed, got no response, and went back in, and again I was told I’d get refunded for some of it to my account because they can only do refunds up to a certain amount, and then they’d send the rest in the mail. I got some of the refund, but I still got no check in the mail. I continued to call and pester them and I think I got a check eventually, but it wasn’t for the total amount, and eventually, after months, literal months, of this back and forth, I just gave up. They still owe me money to this day, and I’m honestly amazed they’re in business! Just make sure you check your accounts!

As a loyal member of Title Boxing Nashville for many years, I find the current state of the gym disappointing. The bathrooms have been out of order for the past five days, and my inquiries have not lead to a clear explanation or timeline for resolution. This is a serious failure of basic facility maintenance. Members and employees sweat and hydrate and need access to restrooms. There is no place to wash or use the facilities -- this raises serious hygiene issues. A gym that can't maintain basic amenities reflects poorly on its management. It sends a message that member's and employee's comfort and health are not a priority. Until this is addressed, I cannot recommend attending classes or working out at Title Boxing East. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and restores the facility to the standard members deserve.

Always excellent. The instructors are awesome and provide the best 45 minute 8 round trainings. 3 locations and a wide assortment of times and classes.

I love to box and was delighted to find this tiny treasure in East Nashville. The several locations and different classes really works well with my schedule. A great way to workout, de-stress and burn calories.
I highly recommend.

Perfect for experienced and beginners! Great workout with coaches that are going to challenge you. I go once in a while through ClassPass and appreciate how every class is the same but different! Only negative is if you borrow their boxing gloves they Smell! Buy your own if you like it!

It's so much fun, low pressure but still inspirational and there is a nice community of boxing and fitness enthusiasts. Also for a full time musician like me who keeps unconventional hours and has ADHD amongst other strange things, this is a really good way to keep myself accountable when it comes to exercise.

SCAM ALERT: They smile in your face and pretend you can cancel anytime but then when I tried they outright REFUSED. Everyone I know says this is a dishonest business. I should have listened. Stay away.

The staff is so welcoming and fun!! I know each time I go for a class that I’ll not only get a great work out, but I’ll learn better technique. The coaches make sure to come around and kindly critique/help if you’re having trouble with something as well. You can tell they enjoy what they do and put a lot of time and energy into it. I highly recommend Title East!

My workout experience was fine. However, when I decided to cancel service, due to a move, I had nothing but trouble. First, they talked me into just pausing my service, in case my move fell through. I agreed, and let the date for the pause to end slip by and they charged me again. That was my mistake, so I just went to the club and made sure to cancel the next day after I saw the charge. Then, a month later, they charged me again. I emailed to complain and was told that my cancellation had been one day shy of the 30 days before the next billing, so they charged me. I was not happy about that, but let it drop. Now, here we are two full months after cancelling, 6 months since the last time I used any of their facilities, and they charged me AGAIN. I would never even consider using them.

I've never done anything more than shadowboxing for fun before yesterday. I was not expecting to be pushed to my limit, but I don't think I've ever been more in the moment. Almost like meditation that makes you super sore the next day. I can't wait to go back. JJ took care of my wife and I, and she is extremely nice, helpful, but pushes you hard.

Out of all the trainers Keith is the best. His style is great and hes the only trainer I've seen so far at title that takes the time to correct inadequacies in technique during group classes. Reminds me of the good ol days when I was at Pepper Boxing. 🌶 🥊

I have been faithfully coming to class for a few months now and all I can say is W O W! I love how strong and empowered I feel after every work out and I also love the trainers! Major shoutout to Kelsey who always brings the heat and really challenges you to go a little further each time. I can really see progress and I am so grateful for this place.

The people and gym are cool, but because of “policy” they are charging me for a month I can’t use and would do absolutely nothing to help me out in my particular situation(injury). Basically stealing $75 from me. I had to cancel and *would* have come back when I was able, but due to this injustice, i will never go back. Thanks dudes. Keep that “policy” and continue to make people mistrust you.

Rip off. First off dont let the title of the gym mislead you. You will learn nothing about boxing here. This is a fitness class where a fitness instructor pushes you through a cardio workout routine. He makes you punch the damn air pathetically. I asked someone who had been coming to this class for 3 months what they had learned and they said nothing more than what they had from day one. They just come to exercise. Which is fine. But this gym gives you and gave ME the impression that I would learn about boxing and combat techniques. The worst part is the first class is supposed to be free and I had to pay ten dollars for hand wraps. So the first class is not free. Its 10 dollars. 10 dollars for a cardio workout and I'm in excellent shape. I was asked by someone who has been attending this class for 3 months how I felt when it was over. I told her I feel fine. I did this class my first time with my eyes closed. I dont need to be doing burpees, pushups, and jumping Jack's, and then hitting a punching bag and paying for it. I do 150 pushups daily on my own time for free. Dont call this a boxing club. This is a scam. Not a "boxing club" punching a bag or the air isnt boxing and there is no technique to it.

The trainers are fantastic; they are impressive athletes but also excellent instructors. The workouts are fast-paced, different every time, and scalable according to your ability. Nobody's posturing or judging anyone else; we're all sweating our asses off and dying together. In the best way. Plus you just feel like a badass. I'm more confident and comfortable in my body than I've ever been, and I love that I learn and improve with every class. Title East, y'all are crushing it!

Title is a diverse, inclusive place where I see all shapes, sizes and genders kicking ass. All the trainers are body-positive and so encouraging. The Power Hour workout is always intense but also so easy to customize to wherever you are in your fitness journey. I never get bored at a Title workout and I always have fun. I have literally never been a "gym person" before but now I'm at Title so much it feels like a second home. :)
