After I was 70 or so, I've been apprehensive and resistant about formal fitness training, concerned that joint and spine issues could be aggravated. Encouraged by my wife to take Niko up on his offer of a gratis consultation and first session, I asked him to review some clinical notes so he knew what my situation was when we met.
An hour's meeting and a few exercises later we came up with a plan. Based on how I could or couldn't easily do something like a TRX squat or row, Niko created a plan with personal cardio and resistance routines along with a shared calendar (3 sessions per week + @ home exercise routines) for getting started.
Over the last 3 months Niko's shown me how to build to more advanced sets with proper form to practice between sessions.
Give Niko a call if you have any hesitations about trying training -- he's a pro that will factor your abilities and needs to customize a plan for you.
You will not regret it.

Niko was very professional and challenged us with his workouts.He was not a drill sergeant type trainer but he encouraged us to push as hard as we could even if we had to modify.He recognized our levels and planned exercises for us accordingly. If you are looking for a trainer who is genuinely supportive and invested in your personal training goals, who honestly listens to you if you have physical or medical limitations, who is flexible, professional and personable, then Niko is the trainer to choose.

I started training with Niko in 3/23 in preparation for my 60th birthday trip to the Dominican Republic in 8/23. I mange several medical conditions and how I feel can be a “day to day situation”. Niko understood this and our training sessions are at my home for this reason. Upon learning my limitations and my personal training goals, Niko tailored my training routine for me at my pace. However, he is not a pushover 😁…he always knows when I could be pushed a little more. He also listens to me when I feel my body has truly reached its limit.

During my training I inquired about losing some targeted body fat. Niko has been extremely helpful in helping me with meal planning and paying more attention to my fat and calorie intake.

We had a setback in 4/23, unfortunately I suffered a TIA (mini stroke) and was hospitalized. I was blessed to not have any permanent injuries from the TIA. Of course, Niko was understanding and flexible. We eased back into my training routine.
Niko is so motivating, quite often I complete my training routine on the days I am not scheduled for a training session.

My husband has made several positive comments regarding my continued effort and the results of of my training sessions.

I have toned my legs, glutes, core and arms. I am also much more flexible. I highly recommend Niko!

Niko is an encouraging, knowledgeable trainer and also a great teacher! He pays attention to detail with your form, noticing and correcting any imbalances in order to prevent injuries and build a strong foundation. Niko is down to earth and focused on helping his clients achieve their goals while keeping sessions challenging but enjoyable! Can’t say enough about working with Niko and results! I lost 10 lbs over the course of 12 weeks with his workout and nutrition plan which felt a lot shorter time wise because it wasn’t THAT hard. For reference, I was in decent shape, but I wanted to be more lean and toned and we accomplished that! I have worked with other trainers that were good, but Niko is by far the best! I travel a lot for work so it’s always been a challenge for me to stay consistent. Niko built an entire personalized plan for me that included workouts and nutrition guidelines for being away from home, eating out, accountability and encouragement. He is genuine (not over the top like some pushy cheesy trainers) and extremely knowledge on all the above, plus he focuses on good form which is really important to me! Niko has been my trainer for 3 years and has been amazing the entire time! I have a joint condition that means I injure myself frequently and I need modifications to most exercises - he has been a lifesaver! When I became pregnant, he adjusted all of my excercises and I was able to continue working out throughout my pregnancy. I was even doing assisted pull ups at 7.5 months pregnant! My schedule has been hectic over the years and having a newborn hasn't made it any easier, but Niko is always flexible and accommodating. In addition to helping me continuously improve my strength, he is resource on nutrition.
