Nice Par-3 golf course. Varied terrain. Carts available. One hole is 205 yards from the white tees but the rest are 180 or less. Fun to play if you want a quick 18 (3 hrs or less).

.... and I feel the two stars is high. Good thing is new carts with GPS. Greens are a mess, nobody repairs ball marks, a lot of them have sand to hide the repair plugs, tees are not well marked or yardage accurate....use the golf cart or your own finder. Most courses are set Pro, Average, Senior, Ladies and the yardage is reduced accordingly... not so on this course. If you go out to play ignore the color of the tees. ALso, the cost is high, especially for whay you get.

Great little par 3 golf course. It's really well-maintained. People in the Pro shop were really friendly. Carts with GPS.
The greens are in very good shape and fairly challenging. We will definitely be coming back this year.

Would not recommend at all if you are just going for a good time apparently to go here you have to be a semi-prof player or at least play up to their standards. Staff will treat you poorly if you are not and if you take too long you will be asked to leave.

Unfortunately I went to get a membership and was told by an employee a price which was also listed on the website. When I went to pay the price was considerably higher and was told oh the price went up we just haven't been able to change it on the website. I reached out to the club manager and he gave me the same story. When did customer stop existing.

This par 3 course in Knoxville is a fantastic option for golfers looking to refine their short game. While challenging holes and tricky greens will test your accuracy, Williams Creek offers a fun and overall positive experience.
The course is perfect for golfers of all skill levels, providing a great way to practice irons and wedges. One of the highlights is their top-notch carts equipped with GPS for easy navigation and Bluetooth speakers to bring your own music to the course.
It's worth noting that a few tee boxes could be in better shape, and you might occasionally have to use mats. However, this doesn't detract from the overall experience. Williams Creek also boasts a driving range and putting green, making it a well-rounded practice facility.

Best par 3 Iβve ever played. Theyβve made a ton of improvements over the last two years and the tees and greens are in fantastic shape. The range is mats only and the tees are mats only in the winter, but itβs still beautiful, challenging, and fun!

I have not played at many courses, but my experience at Williams, Creek, Golf, Course, and the first impression of this course was eh. They had me check in an hour before my tee time but could not grab a cart. The greens really need taken care of and the layouts of the greens blows my mind as to why someone would design multiple greens the exact, same way. Even some of the entire holes the same. But thatβs just my opinion. I guess The course is good for people who want to work on their short game. I feel like the name should be something along the lines of mini course granted that itβs all par 3. I guess I shouldβve done my research on it. I wouldnβt pay $24 for nine holes if they are all par 3. Itβs actually cheaper to do nine holes with a variety of par three fours and fives at a different course

How lucky is Knoxville to have this place? A Tom Fazio designed par 3, open to the public with a First Tee program as well. This course is not your typical pitch-n-putt most people would think of when a par 3 course comes to mind. The tee boxes have been recently redone over the summer of 2021 and the bunkers are just starting to be refreshed as well. The staff is very friendly and the greens are fast. Only complaint is the patrons who donβt fix their divots really take a toll on the place. Do your part, fix divots that arenβt yours and leave this place better than you found it.

Work in progress. I haven't played the course in over 18 months and they have done a lot of tree cutting and other maintenance/ renovation. Traps have been neglected but I'm sure like most places manpower is an issue and they have been focusing on getting the trees cut, new sod, and seed taken care of. You can tell it's headed in the right direction. Greens were really nice with exception to unrepaired ball marks which comes with a teaching/learning facility. Can't wait to see the improvements mature in the near future.

Visiting from Charleston, South Carolina and this is an amazing course. Course has pretty good views and the greens were legit. I see other people complaining about hitting off a few mats but they're doing some great renovation and that just comes with it. I also had a cool buddy who stayed on my back for 7 entire holes (pictures). All in all, great course. Highly recommend.

The entire course was under heavy renovations. Almost ran over by construction equipment. The tee boxes we're all moved up to the 100-yard mark, and you are hitting off the range mats. Way overpriced for a wedge driving range. No reason for me to come back again.

For the heavy price itβs not that great!... they are doing a lot of work and only give you limited places you can hit your ball to not hit off of their βprecious new sodβ at one point I had a kid pull up and say βhey yo can you not hit off the new sodβ so I moved my ball to the rough π€¦πΌ Definitely not worth what they charge!

Best par 3 course Iβve ever played. Very challenging but fun. I play here all the time. You canβt beat the price and the fact that you can play a round of golf within a 2 hr time frame with 4 players.. so you arenβt waisting a day for other things that need to be done before the work week starts. (Side note, on two different occasions I had a bad experience... I had a family emergency and had to leave after playing 2 holes and asked for a rain check.. simply said no we donβt give rain checks if itβs not raining... and the other time, I asked for a rain check because the scattered thunderstorms seemed to only be over Williams creek that day.. he said it should be clear within the hour that he wouldnβt give me a rain check because they were not closing the course.)

True story- my kids play there on Saturday mornings. I left a Yeti cup on the counter at the pro shop. Mike-motherf'in-McGill is holding down the counter. Two days later, I realized I forgot the cup, called him. The following is a verbatim transcript:
'Hi, I think I left my cup on the counter at the pro shop'
M-'Oh yeah, I seen it'
'Great, would you mind holding on to it for me? I'll be back for kids lessons Saturday'
M-'I don't know where it is now. It could be anywhere. People can be dishonest.'
'I think we both know where that cup is. Could you at least ask around, leave a note, something?'
M-'No, I don't think I can. It's long gone.'

The staff, particularly Mike McGill, was terrible. I have played this course upwards of 10 times. Every single time I have had the incredibly terrible experience of talking to Mike, he has made me seriously regret coming back to play here. There is nothing good I can say about Mike. He is rude, has ZERO customer service skills, has a smart mouth, and to top it off, there is apparently no manager of any kind to talk to above Mike McGill. Don't waste your money and time playing at a course where the manager doesn't smile, act friendly, or care if you are satisfied at the very least. He is not even knowledgeable about his own website. Other courses, like Egwani Farms, will give you range balls even when you book on sites like GolfNow, TeeOff, or Groupon. In his own words when I showed Mike on his own website that the tee time comes with range balls and tax included, he says, "that is off of GolfNow". Clearly showing him that it is in fact his website saying tee times come with a small bucket of range balls, he says, "that is a GolfNow special". I guess every tee time on his website is a GolfNow special and therefore inherently comes with a bucket of range balls.. but I digress. Aside from the obvious lack of managerial expertise, the tee boxes are in horrible condition as well. If you are looking for a course that is in better shape, longer than a par 3, in the same price range, and has a friendly staff, there are many other courses in Knoxville that will suite you better. I would give a higher review score for just the course, but obviously Mike ruined my experience for good. . . PS.- THEY responded to my review without once mentioning my displeasure for the manager and being the real issue.
