I love this studio. It's truly inclusive, all sizes and experience levels are welcome. Being apart of class feels like community, the music is spot on, and the energy is immaculate. Work It Pilates has been a game changer for me. Not only is India patient, but she pushes and motivates you with her smile that’s makes it hard for you to give up. I have a new found love for Pilates. What started out as a visit with a friend, has now turned into a lifestyle change. India is great at tailoring her classes to each person’s skill set without hindering the progress of the more seasoned students. It’s called Work It Pilates for a reason! I cannot recommend Work It Pilates enough! After having three kids, I was dealing with diastasis recti and feeling like my core was completely disconnected. Surgery was recommended by a Specialist to repair my abdominal muscles, to which I declined. I wanted a natural approach and thought to try Pilates.

I was a little nervous to start, but the instructor, India, was amazing and so knowledgeable. She takes the time to understand specific needs and modifies exercises to be safe and effective for everyone.

The focus on proper form and breath work has been a game-changer. I've been attending for a few weeks now, and I've already noticed a significant improvement in my core strength and posture. My diastasis recti has began to decrease, and I'm finally starting to feel like myself again.

This class has been more than just a workout; it's been a crucial part of my physical and mental recovery after birth.

Literally the best Pilates studio in Nashville! not only will you walk out with a new profound love for Pilates, but will also leave with laughter, fun, and encouragement to continue. This place is amazing. All body types are welcome! I would definitely recommend Women who are cleared to exercise after giving birth, to try this out!

Work It Pilates is truly a wonderful studio!! India, the owner, is great about educating through her coaching. The space is warm and welcoming, the workouts are varied and challenging, the music is always a vibe, and the vibes of everyone are friendly. The studio offers group classes and private sessions. I started here as someone who had only done one prior class elsewhere but it was this studio allowed me to fall in love with Pilates.

This was such a wonderful class and a great workout! I am looking forward to going back and learning a new way to strengthen my body. The instructor was kind and funny, made the class enjoyable! India does a great job of creating a safe atmosphere and making space for all levels. She makes sure no one feels left behind or out. Her classes are fun and engaging while going through the stretches and exercises. She provides intentional support as well. Prior to going to her classes, I struggled to find a studio that felt like a good fit for me where I could learn, grow, and engage. I’m grateful to Work It Pilates for showing me the love of moving my body again. Give it a try!

Work It Pilates is truly a masterpiece. The instructor, India, has passionately and creatively taught Pilates to people of all kinds across Nashville and beyond, and has opened a studio that fosters an inviting and intimate experience. The studio is not only easily accessible, but also clean and spacious, making it a wonderful place to practice. She offers mat, tower, and Reformer classes for all levels, from novice to advanced, approaching each individual with care, support, and encouragement to truly meet you where you are. While the classes are certainly challenging, they never feel draining. I always leave feeling empowered and eager to come back. Having attended since her very first class over a year ago, I can see and feel the incredible changes in my body. My goal was to enhance my strength, flexibility, endurance, and mobility without losing momentum, and Work It Pilates has been my saving grace. I wholeheartedly encourage anyBODY to join us for a class or book a private session—you won't be disappointed.

India at Work It Pilates is extremely knowledgeable, clear, and patient. She takes the time to explain (or modify) each exercise based on the needs/level of each student. I appreciate the many class options tailored to all levels of students. I look forward to the days I have Pilates because it is a refreshing escape (but still challenging) and a great way to unwind or start my day.

I have been a happy client for over a year! Not only is the class fun and informative, but my body has transformed into a powerhouse. I’ve suffered from hip pain since the birth of my 6 year old daughter, but through India’s class, I have been able to not only control my pain level, but almost deplete it in totality.

I took my first Pilates class with India back in July & I’ve been going 1-2x a week ever since. India is very attentive & encouraging even in the group classes. I took my first class mid June this year. I knew I was stiff and needed to stretch more. India encouraged me to stretch everyday and accurately identify my weakness, hips, lower body and hamstrings. I did and continue to take her classes. They are a total body workout. Each classes are fun, challenge and indus does an excellent job motivating us, slow and steady.

Whenever she teaches an exercise, she provides us multiple positions to do them and coaches us throughout the process. If we are restricted by body limitations, she will come over and help us.

Since my first class, I have taken significant progress and she commented me for those progress.

Take one class and have fun with us! Beautiful fun, rewarding pain lol!!

I had been looking for a small business black owned Pilates studio that provides more support and I finally found India. I enjoy each class I attend. I had been going to Club Pilates since February and once I found Work It Pilates I switched. India is amazing and a great instructor. I will recommend her to anyone. She is very thorough and helpful. If you are looking to try Pilates try it with India.
