I've been an athlete my entire life and I've belonged to more gyms than I can remember. As an athlete who has been living with sports injuries I've been on the search for a gym that allows me to build, maintain strength, stability as well as improved flexibility. I was introduced to Pilates by Amanda, the studio manager and now, my instructor. She's an amazing coach (and I've had a LOT of coaches in my life) and didn't try to "hard sell" me. She is upbeat, focused and patient as there are varying skill levels in her classes. She leads by example too because she also works out consistently. I'm noticing the benefits after just a few classes. The gym location is excellent and there is plenty of parking. Initially, I bought a pack of (5) and I can see myself buying an unlimited package in the near future.

I love the classes at WundaBar. All of the instructors I have had are so kind and supportive. They don’t criticize you when you need a break and they break it down how to make each activity more challenging or more supportive depending on the individual’s needs. Highly recommend!

I took Amanda’s 8am Saturday class at Wunderbar Pilates and absolutely loved it! From the moment I walked in, the studio had such a welcoming and energizing vibe. Amanda is an incredible instructor—clear, encouraging, and so in tune with the class. She challenged us in the best way, offering thoughtful cues and adjustments that made everything feel effective and safe. I left feeling strong, centered, and ready to take on the weekend. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their Pilates game in Nashville. Can’t wait to come back!

I love Wunda! I was able to tell a difference in my body in just a few classes and now after 100 I am able to perform some of the more advanced exercises with little difficulty. I look forward to the classes and attend regularly.

Wow. Really enjoying this place. Today was my fourth class and every instructor is great! I’ve tried a few other places and this is my fave. My body gets an incredible workout here every time. Every class is very different so it keeps my body from getting bored. The instructors and people are diverse and all welcoming. No weird attitudes. I hope it stays like this!! So happy I joined the monthly package.

Hi everyone! I love WundaBar Pilates, and I have enjoyed many instructors at this studio. The studio deserves 5 stars. However, I had a really uncomfortable experience with Elise Gilbert. She asked me if I’ve ever taken her class and I was like, “I don’t know, possibly!” And she said “oh you’d remember it!”
Upon entering the studio, it was all about her. Her kids, her physical therapy history, her Pilates accomplishments, when other instructors typically address the class about what they need or want to focus on. She claimed she likes to run over time, which I’m sure is true, but I don’t know because I literally could not stay in this bizarre class. And she also said she was very “handsy.” By handsy— she means touching you the entire time. I don’t know if she thought she was helping because I was new to her class, but it was excessive and ridiculous. I am not green at Pilates, I have been to several studios around town, many times. I don’t claim to be some expert but this is wild. And lastly, when it comes to instruction, she doesn’t explain. She just talks at you and touches you until you do something right. She literally said, “I’m tiny, so I have to be aggressive,” and she’s right. She’s nothing short of overwhelming.

I started going to WundaBar in Nashville when they opened last Fall. I try to take 2 classes a week and just finished my 50th. The instructors have been great and very helpful. As a 65 year I was not the most flexible person but I have achieved improved flexibility, balance and strength which were my goals when starting classes. I have taken classes at several other Nashville studios over the years and WundaBar has been the most welcoming studio and has delivered a superior Pilates experience for me.
