Extremely hard to access - need to get parking validated every time.

The location is closing very soon and the nearest is the Kessler location.

When just starting to use the facility my husband and I most defiantly loved the view of the city and could deal with the strange parking situation. As time went on though we started to notice machines that were out of order constantly or the hot tub looking disgusting. Then I was followed around by an employee while looking at the merchandise I'm assuming because they thought I was going to steal rather than helping me find what I was looking for. Also during closing time I was waiting for my husband in the lobby (simply sitting there) and was told to "leave it's time to close" (which I can understand) but I then explained that my husband would be right out and asked if I could simply wait here since the only place to go was the parking garage and I told him I would be in the lobby, the employee then started to tell me again that I needed to go, thankfully my husband was coming out that very moment and I didn't have to see how that situation would have ended. LASTLY, when I finally called in to cancel my membership it was a very quick process but was still CHARGED AGAIN the next month and had to call a month later explain the situation to a manager which she said that no one at the front desk would have been able to cancel a membership, only a manager could have done it. I was not refunded the extra month they stole from me because of a incompetent employee. Just know that your money is going to waste at this location.

Not sure if this is an old location but the machines could definitely use an update. I don't complain much about the restrooms but it could use a good update also.

I don’t expect much of 24 but you can usually tell how good of a gym it is by the number of small plates available such as 2.5, 5, 10 pounds. If there is not many, it means the members are stealing them and the management is not staying up on repairs. True here as well, no small plates and a poor looking locker room.

As many others have said the locker rooms and bathrooms are pretty dingy and in need of an overhaul. There were several signs in the parking garage saying that parking for 24 Hour Fitness members was free for up to 2.5 hours but the cashier still made me pay $10 to leave after only parking there for just under 2 hours. Equipment was generally worn out with limited machine options and there were pins missing from several machines I wanted to use. The whole place was poorly lit too despite the natural light from the overhead windows. I would not recommend this location.

It’s like great and stuff, but it isn’t open 24 hours. It should be called 8am to 9pm fitness. Also the restrooms arent all that great.

Decent gym (old equipment) but disgusting men’s showers. I like to workout during lunch but I can’t because the showers and restroom in general is absolutely appalling!!! Hard to believe they let a gym shower in this prime location get this bad.

I go to this 24 hour fitness 90% of the time (the other 10 % i go to north dallas ) i love how central convenient this location is .the staff is awesome they really try hard and go out of there way to help you the equipment is pretty good . i love the sauna and the steam room perfect temperature and again i love the location its literally less then a block away from st paul station and its easy for me to get to .

This is a great gym I come here constantly they have everything, even an indoor track if you don’t prefer the treadmill. Dumbbells go more than 100lbs which is great. Good amount of squat racks & benches for its size. Overall great gym, however my SLIGHT complaint is that it’s pretty chilly in there I like to wear my tanks but now I have to wear regular or even long sleeves to stay warm & pumped up, it’s most likely just me that feels this way but I just thought I should put it out there.

I don't have the agen't name who I just called into. But really unhappy with the customer service rep at this location. I moved into a new complex with a nice gym, so I decided to cancel my membership in person at the keller location where I originally signed up. They said a manager wasn't working so no one on staff could cancel mybrecurring payment.

Fine with that, it was 8:30. But today a few days later, I called into this location where the agent said he can't cancel because this is a sport and I signed up at a super sport. I said I understand that, I will call them back, but asked he leave a note on my account just saying I have been trying to cancel, in case I can't get a manager again. The agent then started arguing and trying to talk over me, saying there was no point in putting the note. I told him I was also going to call, but please just make record of my request. He finally said ok I will bye, and hung up on me.

Frustrating when I'm willing to jump through the hoops, but just asking if a note of my request be recorded turns into an argument with one of your agents.

This place needs to consider getting reliable people. I work out very early because of my job schefule. I have gone when they open on monday just to sit in tge parking garage waiting for the attendat to show up late and giglle while passing 35 waiting customers. Today i showed up and the elevator isnt even open. So i had to drive to royal and central. And they arent apologetic. I write and get no response. I guess dues dont give you customer service. Time to look for one where they do.

Fairly typical 24 hour fitness, unfortunately. Old old equipment, non existent staff, dirty falling apart locker room. Why is it that 24 hour fitness doesn't stop building new gyms and fix up and repair the ones they already have? Very sad and unbelievable.

I found this gem of a gym simply because I refuse to miss a workout due to a long commute. It's right smack dab in downtown Dallas right off Harwood you can easily access it from the blue line train at St.Paul station. The lay out of the gym is a little different but the one thing that made my πŸ’“ Happy was the fact that have an inside track "say whaaaaaat" yep and different little nooks and crannies to get your full work out. Normally smaller gyms don't have saunas and whirlpools but this one does. It's definitely worth a look!

Great gym: large free weight area and large aerobic area. Additionally, there is a cycling room, a large room for classes, and a couple smaller side rooms to work out. Beware: The sauna has palmetto bugs. Locker rooms are typically clean. The urinals (on the first and second floor) are always in need to cleaning.

You can get some work done, but the showers are extremely dirty and most of the equipment is old!!!!!AF!!! Serious upgrade needed. never will I make the mistake of showering (trying to anyway) there again. Locker room is dirty. The only good things are the staff, they are the only one I know of with a track, they just got new stair masters, and its convenient if you work downtown.

I’ve been a member of 24 hr fitness for over 10 years. I was in town on business and stopped in for a workout. This is one of the dirtiest old & busted locations I’ve ever visited. Ancient dirty machines, broken lockers & showers, and looks like no one has cleaned yet this year. Has the company fallen on hard times? How do the owners not have any pride in their brand. I don’t get it.

Since moving to Texas almost 3 years ago I have frequented many local 24 hour fitness facilities. Out of the many I have gone to and used, this one by far has a lot of upgrades due to it. Being located in the heart of downtown Dallas and wanting to cater to business professionals and a uptown type of clientele, this gym has a huge opportunity from overall look and feel, to equipment, to also new staff. Corporate should come in and give this place a makeover asap. Lots of competition in downtown Dallas. A good vision of how a 24 hour should look is in Frisco and Southlake!!!

Truly awful. Roaches. Massive roaches in the sauna. I've been coming to this gym for years and I've essentially dealt with its squalid conditions specifically in the sauna/steam room (usually filthy, neglected). In fact, the only reason why I have a 24hr membership is because of the luxury of utilizing a sauna/steam room (nearly) 24/7. Well... after years of "dealing with it" and recent attempts to alert management to certain issues... I was shocked to see 4-5 roaches just livin' it up in the sauna. I'm not one to complain online but this is truly unacceptable and blatantly negligent. I mean, just shut it down and clean it out...

This is a great location in downtown Dallas on the 10th floor of a parking garage. When you get off the elevators it opens up to a two story gym with windows around the whole gym. Very neat concept but even with all the windows it is dark in there and they don't even turn on lights in some areas. There is a lot of equipment/machines but they aren't very clean and are quite old. The place needs a complete cleaning/scrubbing from top to bottom. Take for example a fan you'd expect to not see dust on it...well just take a look at the picture. This is just one of MANY examples. It seems they mop occasionally but if you look at the base of almost any equipment or any corner, you will notice there are dust bunnies. Staff is friendly (but don't expect them to greet you and say hi when you walk in, they will look at you and then go about talking) and if you need them they will all be up at the front desk talking and hanging out, but not throughout the gym, they seem to only stand at the front desk so at least you can find them. I've enjoyed many 24 hour fitness locations over the last 10 years of being a member but have to say I'm pretty disappointed in this location, especially for the ideal location and great building idea they have. I'll continue to be faithful and going there but wish they could step up cleanliness and friendliness a little.

I have been going to this gym 4 days a week for almost 3 years and have been a 24 hour fitness member for years. This gym could be a great place to work out, as it's in a great location, parking is easy, and it's a great large space, but it needs major renovations. I feel bad for people who need to use the showers and locker room before work, as areas are busted up, dirty, and broken. The restrooms are often really nasty. The main gym areas are dark, never look very clean, weights and equipment are missing from racks, or laying all around. Machines need to be cleaned. Pins are missing or broken and don't fit. Cardio machines are often not working properly or very loud. I think the staff does the best they can with what they have to work with, my complaint is not with them except for when they are supposed to open at 8:00 a.m. on the weekends and we're usually waiting in the parking garage for someone to open, sometimes as late as 8:45 a.m. I sent an e-mail a while back to their corporate website and no one even responded. Very disappointed with 24 hour fitness, you should care about your reputation and this facility and staff.

Most machines are really old and rickety and make weird noises when you use them. Humid inside. Everything just feels old and gross. Some areas don't even have enough weights around so you have to go seek out weights and lug them to different stations. I don't want to lay down anywhere to stretch or even touch a lot of things at this gym. It's a huge shame the condition it is in given the location.

I just canceled my membership to this location. I joined this club about 6 years ago because it is conveniently located near my workplace. I worked out 4-5 times per week. When I first joined, the club was decent; however, there have no improvements since I joined. Here is a list of some of the problems with this location:

1. They used to have a towel service, but discontinued the service and immediately increased dues.
2. Many machines have been broken for months. Some elliptical machines are so noisy that it is impossible to stay in the same area when they are in use.
3. The water fountains on the top level stopped working and were not fixed for over 3 months. This happened on 2 separate occasions.
4. The staff is unable to keep shower curtains or doors on the men’s locker room showers.
5. Many locker doors are hanging off hinges in the men’s locker room.
6. Several of the men’s showers were out of order several months. When I asked the staff, I was told that the parts are on order. I guess delivery of the parts was by horse drawn carriage!
7. The staff appears to stand around a lot instead of working on this broken down facility.

Basically, this place appears to be operating on a shoestring budget. Everything is on the verge of falling apart. Good luck if you actually want to take a shower after your workout.

This gym is not as bad as the Mesquite location but still very dirty and neglected. The showers and spa areas are sticky and the whole place smells like mildewed sweat. I would think cleaning with something lemon based would do the trick but the managers are probably used to the smell and the chain is very cheap.

So old and dirty. Showers are moldy all the time. Needs remodeling desperately.

This gym is very rundown. Paint is peeling off. Carpeting and rubber floor covering are missing in many places. They do have plenty of cardio and weightlifting equipment; however, it is very old. Cardio machines do not have built-in TV’s; thus, you have to watch one of the overhead TV’s. It would be fine, except none of the elliptical or step machines have plugs for headphones. So you can only watch TV’s without sound. Over half of the cardio machines have broken tension belts; thus, they pop and do not run smoothly. Free weights and benches are in extremely bad shape. Workout mats, balls, steps, resistance bands are either missing, old, or broken. Women’s locker room is nasty and is never cleaned. Half of the lockers are broken. Many floor tiles are missing or cracked. Half of the showers are either broken or do not have curtains. Showers are moldy. Mirrors have all kinds of old makeup on them. I will give this gym a positive feedback on their HVAC as they keep the gym cool.

The track is awesome, but watch out when it's cold outside because of condensation! That track gets completely wet and slippery.

Love that there is an indoor track (especially since it is winter). Towels are convenient and appreciated (I'm sure to entice business persons downtown). Most don't know that they validate 2HR parking. (if wanna stay longer, simply take 3-5 min break and drive around the block and get a new entry ticket, there's 10 stories of parking available! And finally, glad they allow people to use the Group X rooms when no class is in session... we get to use everything we pay for... yeah!

I get to Dallas a couple of times each year. The first time I went to this club, they were doing renovations to the wet area, so I really couldn't comment. The next time I went, it was awesome. Everything was new, fresh, clean, etc. I really enjoyed this gym to the point that I scheduled extra time to stay in Dallas to work out before coming home.

Unfortunately, I went yesterday, and it was like the twilight zone. The moment I walked in, I noticed that it smells bad inside. The locker room was in disarray. There were towels everywhere. I had to try several lockers to find one that I could actually lock. The floor was a mess. The urinals stunk. The showers were moldy. Several of the shower doors were gone. In their place were poorly fitting shower curtains hanging from wire that was strung between the shower door pillars.

In the gym, the equipment was dated and old. The first two stairmasters I tried were broken. I did manage to get a workout in, but it was nowhere near the pleasant experience I had before.

Down in Austin, 24 hour fitness has invested in renovations and new equipment for several of the clubs. I hope they take steps to bring this club in Dallas back to life.

This gym COULD be great if the staff just took a little bit extra time each day to take care of the easy stuff. There always seems to be a few lockers each day that are broken (loose or completely off the hinges - a screw driver would go long way) ... Towels are often thrown around the locker room ... They need to refill the hand sanitizers on the gym floor (which always seem empty) ...

Other things, the tiles in the shower and steam room need to be replaced. They look dirty (more so in the steam room). Their equipment is pretty old, but works fine. The clientele is fine, don't know what others others are talking about, never had an issue with other men. The toilets are little gross.. Some of the mats on the gym floor are pretty old and could be replaced.

Good things - Not many gyms offer a free towel service, wet area and sauna (where flip flops and you're good),

All in all, the gym is fine, a lot of their stuff is old and dirty, but for just working out and occasional sauna, it does the job for the great price per month I pay

I thought this was a great gym, staff could be more on top of it. The locker room has gotten a lot better, with the new ventilation system, and better shower curtains. It's down town so there is a good healthy mix of people; gay, straight, old, young, men and women...kinda like college. I will keep going back. :)

If you're a straight male, get ready to feel verrrry uncomfortable. I stopped going as I felt violated due to all the eye molestation received by the majority of the guys in the place. If you must go, please proceed with caution as not heading my advice will result in major douche chills.

1. use your car to change into your gym gear. AVOID locker room!
2. do not make eye contact with any other male in gym.
3. if you are able to complete your entire workout with your eyes closed, please do so. Upon completion of your set, make sure eyes are opened slightly to ensure finding your next piece of "appropriate equipment."
4. under "NO" circumstances bend at the waist if retrieving anything from your gym bag.

If your OK with the aforementioned verbiage, then I HIGHLY recommend the place!
