The locations are great. Near my apartment and job 😁

Good range of equipment and weights, never too crowded. Sadly the equipment is dated and most have rust and worn paint jobs. Little love goes a long way.

Sadly the conditions of the (men’s) bathroom are disappointing 😕
The shower area needs a deep clean and daily maintenance
The toilets and urinals area smells like a porta potty.

The (men’s) locker room is manageable, nothing fancy here. Basic locker room, fits my needs.

This place is not well-lit. Also, there is no WiFi unless you’re a member so if you’re doing a 3-day trial, you can’t out the WiFi to make sure it’s strong enough for you to stream movies while you work out. They machine I worked out on was wobbly and faulty. It kept randomly pausing and resuming and beeping even though I didn’t click any buttons. I’m on day 1 of my free 3-day trial and I’m already thinking about not coming back. It’s also too hot in here. Gyms are supposed to be just a little cool so when you work out and heat up, it feels just right. This gym is basically like a garage with equipment. No pool. Very bare-bones. Can’t recommend this place. I think I’ll pay double for LA fitness or another gym.

The ladies' locker room is clean. Parking is plentiful and there are lots of cardio machines available when I arrive in the afternoon.

My Certified Personal Trainer is Nick. Our workouts are fun but challenging and effective, so I come to the gym much more often than I would without a trainer. I'd recommend this gym to anyone who just wants to work out hard for quick results and doesn't need a basketball court or fancy amenities.

Now that 290 is finished it is easier to get to this gym. It is a basic gym, nothing fancy, but it does have a Group x area, rows of cardio machines, the weight machines are in decent shape, the spacing is decent with a free weight area and a separate core/abs area.

🤷‍♂️It’s the only 24 in the area. Not to many options here. I hate the horrible hiphop music that is pipped in the place. The TV always have ads on them and the restrooms and showers are dank. The place just needs a renovation. It’s not like 24HR doesn’t have the money.

Very disappointed, my phone death n ask the front desk to charge phone quick to turn it on,her name Marchell( if I spell wrong) she have the charger in front of her n won’t let me to use it, even I asked her for favor, n she still ignored whatever I said n keep watching on her phone. I don’t blame about customer service , just ask something due to emergency to make a call, well I hope nothing bad returning to her and she will do something nice to another ppls in the future.

I signed up a year ago. Sales rep had me sign up at a monthly rate, also signed my son up. Next thing you know, I'm paying a yearly fee of 55.00, and that's both my son and I. Also, 36.00 for each one of us. I go in talk to the person who signed me up, he admitted to me that he inadvertently didn't tell me. Knew I wouldn't sign up. Now, here is the reasoning for the fee. To buy new equipment for me, that's what he said. I don't need new equipment, they do, but not me. Now, here we are a year later, and I'm being charged 2 times once again. Another thing, over the last year, twice went in and worked out. The next day I had a cold. Spent 3 days in the hospital. The things your willing to do for health, and convenience. You hope they would see that, and be happy to make your life a little easier. Yet, at the end of the day, like everyone else, nickel, and dime you to death.

Scale is set in the front entry way instead of the dressing rooms for privacy. Shower faucets are set backwards. The shower walls are frosted and almost transparent. Privacy is not valued here. The water pressure feels like needles. NO towels for guest. Atmosphere is dead.

I've been a member since 2016 and I've never had a problem. Im not 100% sure but they might have changed management last year and it's been for the best. I haven't had an issue or seen any equipment out of service. I've actually seen their maintenance guy keeping busy throughout the week which lets me know they're on top of things.
Don't really expect outstanding customer service from places like 24 Hour but the team has been helpful when I have any questions.
Bottom line: The gym has the equipment you need to get a great workout and the rest is really up to you.

The gym is okay . There isn't any exceptional equipment or customer service to make this place stand out. My biggest gripes are:
1) It takes many months to get defective equipment repaired.
2) Parking lot security is a HUGE issue, so don't leave anything valuable in your car.

I work all around the greater Houston area, and I enjoy coming to 24 hour fitness facilities in general, but this one and the fry/saums facilities I enjoy the most.

As a member that bought his membership from Costco (works out to around $16 a month if you can afford the $400 initial purchase), I am not allowed to go to a Super Sport location without paying an upcharge both one-time, and monthly. This thankfully isn't really an issue, as there is usually a non-Super Sport close, but is a minor bummer.

My only real gripe is that the only two facilities that seem to have the Cybex Arc Trainers are the fry/saums location and this one. Now, I haven't been to them all, and in general their equipment can vary just a little bit, but that's about all I can complain about. Arc Trainers are simply amazing for when you need a quick calorie meltdown, and are good on the knees.

Otherwise, facilities are generally cleaned and stocked, and the folks are nice. At this point 24 is superior to the cheaper alternatives, and is far superior to the YMCA. I will most likely be heading to Costco again when my 2-year is up to buy another membership.

Why I gave it a 5 star? Security in the parking lot, friendly staff, clean gym, and not overly crowded. I was an LA Fitness member but, just too crowded and dirty. This is a smaller gym but, more comfortable if that makes sense?

Staff is unfriendly and seem to cater to themselves. Overprized, was never able to log in in 7 months because my finger prints could not be read, and this took an average of 10 mins to log in every time. Worst, they don't like veterans.

From my past experiences at this gym, I've gotta say it's one of the best gym's around, the staff is really great and initiated meaning they are ready to help you with either account problems or simply a question. They have yoga, Zumba and boot camp classes as well as other class throughout the week, and the best part they already come with your membership! There's a ton of equipment and you can even ask the personal trainers for help as well.

Massive level of incompetence for a gym of this size. "Sales manager" could not give me answers to the simplest questions and kept telling me "I don't know" and just stared at me as if I was supposed to just accept it. I asked how their first and last months fees worked and if I signed up on the first of the month if I would be getting charged twice or once. IDK was a common answer. I told her I did not want to give permission for their telemarketing sign up and she told me I could not be a member unless I hit the "accept button" on their register to sign up for the telemarketer calls. I don't know what kind of shady business practice this is but I should not have to sign up for promotionals and spam emails to use facilities. Ridiculous. I've been a member of several big name chains that do not force these levels of practices. Very displeased. Definitely lost a customer here.

Has everything that I need in a gym....all of the basic weights/machines and plenty of cardio machines. Staff is friendly facilities are kept clean with weights almost always where they should be. Only recommendation is to get dumbbells above 115 lbs.

Not the best hours and usually opens late on Monday mornings. It's supposed to open at 5am but the attendant won't arrive until 5:05-5:10 cutting into your routine.

The rest of the week it's usually okay. All the good trainers left a while back, if that doesn't tell you something I don't know what else to say.

Horrible hours. They don't tell you their hours when you sign up. As far as I am concerned, that is misleading because the name says 24 hours. It's not even opened at all on Fridays. What other gym is closed 24 hours on Friday? None! Doesn't open until 5am and 7am on other days. Check the hours carefully before you sign up or you might end up throwing your money away like I did.

This is the best clean 24 Hrs gym I have been to. Front desk people always nice. I do have other gyms close to my house but I rather to go to this one! Not even the one in downtown is as clean as this one.

this gym has really gone down hill. it got a new manager named zee. since he has taken over the gym has gotten really bad. car break ins are very constant. the club manager zee wont even park his car anywhere else but the front because he doesnt want his car to get broken into but what does he care about member cars? NO! honestly everyday a car is broken into there needs to be a parking lot check or security guard there but the manager wont do anything. second the weights are a mess. they are all over the place and never put up. The last gym manager would pick the weights and dumb bells up in his suit every few hours this new guy he wont instead he will say its not his fault its the members and will put more annoying signs over the gym that don't help. the gym has really gone to hell and its sad because it was a better place. L.A Fitness opened up down the street and i already am changing
